Speedboat Bar London Reviews
Yummy food in soho
Really lovely food, just didnt expect it to be all small plates (maybe naively!!), the atmosphere was good but we were seated in the corner downstairs and upstairs looked like more fun!
Tiny portions, very expensive. Style over substance.
London has a lot of Thai restaurants, so this place has competition. At first glance this place seems attractive. It is a Thai diner themed restaurant, with waiters in cricket style tops and interesting decor. It would look cool on social media post
Perfectly fine
We came on a Sunday night, and they were out of several dishes. Not a major problem, however. The dishes we ordered were good, but nothing was truly outstanding. Service was confused at first, but then got better. Our server was very helpful. We migh
Not worth it
Taste was good, even very good. But the quantity is veeeery tiny. Beef noodles with only 20g of beef should just be called ยซ noodles ยป (for 19ยฃ). Very noisy place. Staff was kind though. Would not recommend.
NIce quick lunch
Popped in for a quick lunch. Wasn't expecting anything great as I knew in advance that there was a limited menu. Staff were pleasant and very polite. We had one dish each and they were fine. The bar is located upstairs. Probably not best suit
Good but wonโt go again
It was nice but the portions are small. Pricey. The food tasted great. Our favourite was the dessert and the jasmine fish salad (tiny though) Service was great and the place is lovely.
Delicious!
Iโm a bit baffled by the negative reviews as we really enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and engaging and did a great job of explaining the menu and spice levels. The food was plentiful and delicious. My only complaint is that the tables a
Good but too expensive for what it is
Hmmm ok but too expensive for a street food experience esp as we were sitting at the bar, couldn't help feeling a bit stung but the staff were nice and there was some decent music. I recommend the staff advise on the chilli levels -I love spic
Charge for cancellation
Charged me ยฃ20 for cancellation even though I cancelled before the booking time, and there is no phone number to call! Other restaurants never do it.
A little disappointing food offerings and expensive for the experience
The late evening menu was extremely limited and Unfortunately not particularly tasty. The prices were on the high side for the quality so all in all a little disappointing . The venue was ok and it did open late which was a bonus but I wouldnโt ret
Poor dish taste, poor quality meat, service and pricing for Yaowarat Road menu
I had a poor experience at Speedboat Bar and would not recommend it. Despite the buzz around this venue, my visit left much to be desired in terms of food quality, service, and overall ambience. Venue & Atmosphere: The interior attempts to echo
Not worth the visit
Do not be fooled by the glowing reviews. The food is not bad but totally overpriced. Small amounts of food so you have to order more itโs an absolute rip off. The atmosphere was not matching the price. Noisy uncomfortable cheap decor, worst is the

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Speedboat Bar London at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Speedboat Bar London page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Speedboat Bar London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Speedboat Bar London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
