This place was incredible! The service was awesome.
Even the clientele were very friendly and I met three new people I found to be very enjoyable.!

My favorite dinner spot every Friday and amazing service every time! The bartenders make the best drinks.
My friends and I used to consider Steak 48 a favorite spot
My friends and I used to consider Steak 48 a favorite spot for enjoyable gatherings. However, our recent experience was incredibly disappointing and will prevent us from returning. We had already spent over $600 on appetizers and wine when a friend's husband arrived at 9:15 pm to join our party. He was inexplicably denied service by the manager and door staff at Steak 48. To make matters worse, the manager and staff then lied to my friend, claiming we (the existing guests) wanted her to leave. While I understand a policy of stopping new patrons after a a certain time, refusing service to a guest joining an existing party - especially one willing to spend more - is illogical. If staff have set departure times, it would be far more professional to inform patrons of this expectation upfront, rather than denying service or resorting to dishonesty. This experience fell far short of the luxury service one expects from Steak 48. It's a shame that such a prestigious establishment failed to deliver a luxurious experience.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Be aware that after a certain hour, they will not allow anyone else to enter. My husband came by to pick up my tab while I was with my girlfriends, and they refused to let him in to say hello, grab a drink, or pay. The manager was extremely rude and even lied, claiming my friends wanted me to leave. I will never return to this establishment.
Amazing ambiance, taste and hospitality.
The staff is super nice and courteous and everyone made sure our party felt taken care of. The manager, Jimmy Galloway is very friendly and helpful in making sure that everything is up to the guests' expectations. I really recommend this place for celebrating special occasions.

10/10 had my birthday dinner here it was an amazing vibe great food .. servers where amazing Highly recommend.
Food was nothing less than excellent.
KC Strip was a treat. Seafood tower? Delicious. Chicken fried Lobster Tails? As the kids would say: dank. Drinks were quite quick and delicious as well. Service (Chip) was fantastic. Here's my one biiig star drop off... the PLAYLIST. My middle school 2004 English teacher called, she wants her corny pop back! Sara Bareilles and Uncle Kracker?? While eating one of the BEST slatts in the city? Uncomfortably annoying. Other than that, I CANNOT recommend this place enough.
Steaks were flavorful but very undercooked.
Medium rare was raw blue and medium was medium rare. They told us the steaks would continue to cook on the hot plates but that just didn't happen, but was too late to send back by the time we realized. Also, just an uncomfortable experience to make your guests send the food back because you're going out of your way to undercook the meat. Just cook to the temp requested please. A lot of people don't feel comfortable sending food back, even when such an expensive meal. They also packaged up our leftovers but forgot to give them to us. When we went to ask for them, they had misplaced them. Reading other reviews, it seems like this issue with the leftovers happens often. Overall, not the best experience given the price point.

I was here 10 days ago Everything was very tasty, we ordered shrimp tempura and tomahawk steak. Very very nice place, but server wasn't so kindly. I will be back!!

Excellent food and service! Ambiance was beautiful and drinks were really good. Anniversary dinner was 10/10
Nick was our main waiter.
He was respectful and checked on us periodically. Staff was pleasant. Ambience was great. We were seated on private cubicles next to the desert making area. Ordered bone in ribeye. 500 degrees out from the oven. Melted initialy in my mouth. My wife ordered a chilean seabass, also was great. Truffle fries was ok. Brussel sprouts tasteful. Bread was warm and moist. Perfect dinner for my wifes birthday. Nick offered a on the house dessert for my wifes bday which is appreciated. Will return at this spot in the future with family. Enjoyed it better than mastros and flemings. Thank you steak 48!!!
Highly recommend coming here.
It's rare that I'm in total disbelief, but that was me after eating here. The service was beyond amazing. We were greeted with a hand written birthday card thanking us for choosing Steak 48 to celebrate the occasion. This was my first time here and the place looked amazing but the vibe inside was even better. Our server was awesome, knowledgeable, and attentive. Kaylen I believe was the young lad's name. The food was superb. 5 stars does the menu no justice. The bread was by far the best bread I've ever had at any restaurant. The crispy shrimp appetizer was flavorful and fresh with tons of great flavors. Our entrees were 45 day dry aged ribeye steaks. You can really taste the flavor profile that comes from dry aging beef the right way, top 3 steaks I've ever had. The sides chosen were the crème corn, mac and cheese, and hassle back potatoes. The corn was incredible, sweet but not overly so, even though the top layer was covered with the same caramelized crust you get on crème brûlée. The Mac and cheese was great as well, deep cheese flavor without too much of usual overly dripping cheese. More creamy than gooey. The potatoes were seasoned well and cooked to perfection, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. At about the end of our dinner the manager comes over and asks us about our meal, he talked to us for a few minutes and before leaving mentions that we could order anything off the dessert menu and he would take care of it for us. He was very gracious and very personable, Danny I believe his name was. He was a scholar and a gentleman. He recommended Lou Lou's cookies n cream gelato cake and it was fantastic. Not overly sweet, well balanced flavors, and very creamy gelato . I can honestly say I've never had such astounding service in combination with equally astounding quality food. They manage to turn a fine dining experience into a personal dining experience that you sometimes get at little mom n pop restaurants that make you want to comeback for more. Overall, this place is phenomenal.

Came here to celebrate my dads birthday and everything was amazing! Jess was so kind and sweet and everyone was very attentive. We got the rack of lamb, ribeye, mashed potatoes, wild mushrooms, and Cesar salad. It was all delicious! Highly recommend.
The Best In The West Excellent customer service.
The food was phenomenal. This place deserves a 10 rating! And I can't wait to come back and have dinner there.
My hubby chose this beautiful place to celebrate my
My hubby chose this beautiful place to celebrate my birthday and it was truly special. We had a beautiful booth table kind of like in our own little cubicle away from the noise and able to focus on each other. Our waiter was wonderful and spaced out the courses perfectly. We started with some Beverly Rita's as a signature cocktail. They were nice and strong (at least for me) which was nice. The bread they brought out is delicious and I would've devoured all of it but I wanted to save some space for the rest of the amazing dishes. We ordered the crispy shrimp and fresh burrata as appetizers. Burrata was okay, nothing too crazy special. The crispy shrimp was amazing and such a big portion! That could've been my whole meal. I got the beet salad which was just perfect for me. My husband got the Caesar salad with poached egg and he said it was good. He ordered the butcher cut steak which was offered as a special (and quite pricey! As we later found out) but he said he could taste the quality of the meat. I ordered the petite filet which was served on a very hot 500 degree Fahrenheit dish! It melts in your mouth but be careful not to burn your tongue! It's hot! I couldn't even finish it because I was sooo full from all the yummy dishes I had to take the rest home. We ordered the creamy mashed potatoes as a side and that was also very delicious! Wanted to try the Mac and cheese but had no space! I really wanted dessert which was amazing- warm caramel vanilla cake. Yummm. That was delicious. Then they brought out cookies with the bill and I literally couldn't even imagine taking a small bite I was so stuffed. Everything was beautiful and amazing. Great ambiance and very romantic. Great service. Definitely a great date night and bday dinner.
The bomb we just left it was fabulous great atmosphere

We drove an hour from Orange County to LA because we heard this place was good. The ambience is nice but music is loud, hard to have a conversation. Food comes out in a timely manner. The steak itself is good. The side are super salty. They have their signature crème brule corn which I personally think was nasty, super sweet. In all fairness we were forewarned about it being sweet The experience was nice but probably won't be back.
This place is 5 out of 5.
We come here with family friends or just date night and it's always a wonderful experience. The location the food the staff the ambiance the decor everything is perfect. Oh did I mention the person next to you is always a somebody. Lots and lots of celebs have dinner here. I highly recommend this place.
Wow! Beautiful interior design and beautiful people.
Wonderful large staff waiting on your every need. Manager Daniel was so kind and professional. Lots of entrees other than steak. High prices but big portions and eclectic menu options.

I went there just after opening in January, and I felt good
I went there just after opening in January, and I felt good overall and the service attitude was very good. When we left, the waiter also introduced the seafood varieties to us.
Went here last night to celebrate a couple friends bdays.
I wanted to love this place. The ambiance was very nice, the service was good, however the food was not. First, alot of our dishes were over salted. We brought this up to our waitress. She took a couple appetizers off our bill which was very nice and suggested other non salty items. The steaks were a little over done, but i believe this was due to the really hot plate. The sides were decent but your plate is so hot you cant really eat it immediately since the sides heat up even more on your plate. One particular piece of steak was so over salted i had to spit it out. We didnt wanna ruin our night by complaining over and over so we just kept it moving. The bad part was as we were leaving 3 of the 4 ppl that were dining, me included, threw up. So I believe we got some sort of food poisoning or atleast something was bad or not cooked right. atleast we threw up in nice Toto toilets lol. so yeah, we all basically got sick from dining here so I will definitely not be coming back. i dont expect to drop premium prices and then get sick after. added pictures for what its worth.

Steak 48 is a popular new chain and the food is amazing! I am a huge mastros fan but I have to say the food here is amazing. The steaks are cooked to perfection! I have came about 6 times already and each time they have made my steak medium rare plus just how I like it. With mastros sometimes it's a hit or a miss. Although I wish they had a warm butter cake but hands down steak 48 is the best.
We had an amazing family dinner celebrating my and my
We had an amazing family dinner celebrating my and my brother in law's birthdays. There were seven at out table. Our waiter Nick was excellent. The food and service was top quality, exactly what you'd expect from a great steak house.
Very very impressed with this restaurant.
Never even heard of it with here on a girls night out and to celebrate my birthday. Let me start with the ambience well let me start with the valet parking $16 about what you would expect in Beverly Hills men were right there to open up the driver side door and the passenger door. They were right there to open the door for you to enter the restaurant really classy place, There is a very nice sitting area before they seat you at your table. They do not make you wait until your whole party gets there before they seat you which I love , I hate when restaurants do that . There was nice linen napkins all in white you can also request black linen, which is very nice just a nice added touch. If you're a little messy, you may not know that but I'm letting you know you can ask for a black linen napkin. The hostess was smiling with a big smile ready with the birthday card from the steakhouse she gave us a dessert on the house and it wasn't a cheesy one that they already have for you. It was whatever we ordered, That's a nice touch, there was no birthday song from the restaurant. I don't know if they forgot or they just don't do that if they forgot, I'm disappointed I may be a little, disappointed that they don't do it as well . Of course they're well known for their steaks. We ordered steak a great macaroni and cheese that included lobster and crab in it sautéed spinach and everything is à la cart. It was three of us and it was more than enough to share each à La Carter item. The steak was fabulous cooked to perfection. Just the way it was requested. I ordered king crab legs, the biggest king, crab legs, I've ever seen at a restaurant full of meat!! the greatest thing about it is you don't have to crack it they slice it open for you. You can very gingerly raise up the shell and just lift all that juicy crab meat out. Everything was fabulous. The drinks were delicious. The liquor was in it that was great our waitress her name was Stephanie. She was awesome, no complaints and my favorite thing is that the bathrooms were clean and the bathrooms were individual rooms with their own doors. That's a class act all by itself, complete privacy. It was super clean. It was beautiful like a restroom at your home. They had electric toilets with warm seats that lit up toilet seats that opened up themselves. It was just awesome. Cannot wait to take my husband there and for Beverly Hills steakhouse, the prices were excellent. We've paid more at places where the bathroom was not clean and did not get the same type of service they kept our table clean not only did they just take away the dirty dishes every time we set them to the side they made sure that any crumbs we spilled on our table were cleaned away ......fantastic !!! two thumbs up steak 48. I will be back. The delicious desert was key lime pie also enough for 3 to share. No little small foo foo portions that cost an astronomical amount of money. STEAK 48 actually gave you a good helping of food . Love this place no pretension that's what I liked. No problem splitting the bill 3 ways . They will also pack your food to take away as well.Forgot to mention the awesome chicken fried lobster head as an appetizer delicious and a nice size lobster they were three so we all got one
Nice vibe, good service and food, but I almost fell with my
Nice vibe, good service and food, but I almost fell with my high heels, so embarrassing... the floor is very slippery, I have worn the same shoes to other restaurants not a problem.
Came here for a work happy hour.
Ambiance is great, the steaks they had were top quality cuts, and the server was very attentive to our needs. It's tough to small bites for a party of 10, so I ask then server to help me out, and whipped out a few different does that were all delicious. If you're in the neighbor, give this place a try. Book a reservation in advance. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent!!!!! Everything is good, the food and service was exceptional!!!I l8ve thus place, they could use better music in the background but besides that everything was great.

The food, service and ambiance are all 5 star! This was our first time eating at Steak 48. The service is everything that you would expect at a fine dining restaurant, that so many other fine restaurants have seem to have lost. The food taste amazing. We tried the meatballs, crispy shrimp and chicken fried lobster as appetizers. The meatballs were the best I've ever had. The crispy shrimp was okay not the best. The chicken fried lobster was Amazing definitely a must try. We had the bone ribeye and some sides. We did order the chef Eddie's potatoes but they gave us au gratin potatoes that was the only let down but everything else made it pale in comparison.

Visited a few times, the bone-in rib eye, lobster roll, and truffle fries are always a hit. Beautifully designed, friendly staff, central location in BH, and easy parking (both valet and street parking available).
Second visit.
Saw hookers at the bar. Hate to see. Very uncomfortable be there with my boyfriend. Food was ok and it has a good atmosphere for sure. But say again don't want to see hookers at this place.
The hype is real.
I knew we were off to a good start when the hostess that seated us asked me if I wanted a dark napkin. Super impressed that I didn't have to ask. IYKYK. Took us about 15 min to be seated for our 7:15pm reservation. Took a pre-dinner visit to the bathroom and was very surprised to find that they have Toto heated seat bidet toilets. Faaaaancy.Service: Our waiter Eddie was great. Engaging, friendly and informative. Gave us the time we needed to peruse the extensive drink menu, chat and figure out food. Checked in on us just the right amount of times. We never felt rushed, which is something I experience far too often in this city. Everyone was very nice and perfectly attentive. Manager making the rounds, asking people how their meal is.Ambiance: Warm and inviting. And by warm it was a tad too hot in there. I didn't see too much of the entire restaurant as we were seated off to the left, but what I did see was modern, simple, clean and not too old fashioned. Music was fun, not too too loud. Patrons are of mixed age, leaning more towards couples 65+ looking to run into friends and hug and air kiss and schmooze.Food: The complimentary bread was freaking delicious. Warm and salty and buttery and flaky. Like an elevated crescent roll. The Maine lobster escargot was fantastic. Hot and buttery, with mashed potatoes (?) on top with a dollop of caviar. So unique, and quite possibly my favorite dish. Corn crème brulee was also a unique dish, creamy with the crispy crunchy sugary top. The praline sweet potato was good, but my least favorite dish of the night. KC strip for two of us to share was perfect, finally cooked to a real medium rare. Most places over cook medium rare to medium. It was brought out sliced, on a hot as hot plate. Nice touch that they brought out a second hot plate for my dinner date, so that his steak and sides stayed warm and crispy, and he had an equal dining experience. A much appreciated small detail. I burned the sh!t outta my tongue, but it was 100% worth it. Even though we were full, it was a must to try the cookies and cream gelato cake. Very good, and pretty big. Already sliced in half and perfect for sharing. Had I known that bite size complimentary chocolate chip cookies were provided at the end of the meal, I would have skipped dessert. It took me from full to over the edge uncomfortable.Drinks: I enjoyed the cucumber guava, which was clean, refreshing and likely a creeper because I did not taste the alcohol at all. $35 Pride Merlot with dinner recommended by Eddie, and let me tell you, they do not skimp on the wine pour! I've also heard martini's are actually about 2 martini's.$16 valet parking in front of the restaurant. Both the entrance and valet are on Roxbury Dr.Reservations are a must.Bogus: a tad too warm Bonus: delicious food, excellent serviceFinal Verdict: I will definitely be back. Food is very rich, so this is definitely a once in awhile treat. We welcome yet another steak house to Beverly Hills!!
Michelle and Kyle went above and beyond to make our dinner
Michelle and Kyle went above and beyond to make our dinner special for my friend's birthday. Food, service and ambiance were great!
Overall experience was solid!! A beautiful restaurant!!Well
Overall experience was solid!! A beautiful restaurant!!Well trained and courteous staff (our server Tony was excellent). Menu has a lot of wonderful choices as you would expect from a steakhouse in BH. Food was well prepared, flavorful and plating was very nice. The only reason it's a 4-star and a 5-star review is the 45-days dry aged bone-in Ribeye. While it was at perfect temperature (MR) and good flavor it wasn't as amazing as I expected it to be. Will be back soon to try the KC Strip. Overall value for the money we spent was very good.
Great ambiance! Yummy food.
We were taken cared of by Nick. Highly recommend him. He knew the menu inside out and gave us the best recommendations for appetizers, salad, entree, sides and dessert. Incredible experience! Highly recommend!!
"Mastros 2.
0" This is what was described to me what to expect from this new Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The decor was of course next level and there are a lot of service people that seem to be trained well for a new place. The menu is extensive with lots of options. Oyster, Caviar, sushi and of course many options of cuts of premium steaks and fresh seafood and Lamb. The wine list is somewhat limited but also has a reserve list of some very rare and expensive bottles. Sorry, no outside bottles are allowed. We brought a bottle of Lewis Cellars Reserve for the evening not knowing they don't do corkage and it was checked in like a jacket. Now to the food...we started with the complementary house made bread served in a cast iron skillet that was very buttery and soft inside and perfect...no butter needed. Started with deviled eggs and crispy shrimp. The shrimp was excellent but in retrospect could have been skipped since the flavor profile didn't fit the rest of the meal. We discussed wine with the SOMM and got a rare bottle of ToKalon Vineyard called Highest Beauty that was fantastic and pair perfect with all the cuts of steak we ordered. My wife and I split a KC Strip with an additional "Surf and Turf" lobster tail in truffle butter. We did a table share of sides of Hasselback Potatoes, Wild Mushrooms and bacon crisp Brussel Sprouts. Dessert was Key Lime Pie and Red Velvet Bread Pudding. Both were awesome but the Red Velvet Bread Pudding was the favorite! The overall experience was great! The service fantastic! Even the Valet service was speedy and only $16? This is Beverly Hills people! So, compared to the Landry owned Mastros Steakhouse...Steak48 is far superior!Let's hope more are to come closer to home! Amazing service! Food impeccable Desert delicious 5 stars all around for this gorgeous steak house
My first experience with Steak 48 was actually a phone call
My first experience with Steak 48 was actually a phone call earlier in the day. A nice lady named Claire was well-spoken and clear with her answers to my questions (bar opens at 4p, dining room at 5p, but could one order food at the bar in that earlier hour?). She did say that it might be better if one waited a little later within that early hour to order food so keeping this in mind, I rearranged a few things to arrive at a later time. Note the entry is on Roxbury, not on Wilshire (look for the valet area). After having two gentlemen open the doors, the host stand is directly to the left, while the bar is a couple steps down from there. Considering I waited until around 4:40p, this area had more full seats than empty. The room is beautiful, and the lights reminded me of dimly lit bubbles. Restrooms are in a hallway opposite the hostess stand, and are several unisex single-occupancy rooms. These are super-modern, and I've never seen a remote control in a restaurant bathroom before so this was pretty cool. After confirming with one of the bartenders about when they started serving food, he poured me a drink then gave me a dinner menu to peruse for the next several minutes which was good since I was trying to narrow it down between more than a few items. Matt was the one who let me order a little early, and after asking him for his opinion, I went with the Steak Knife BLT Wedge ($17) and the Truffle & Salted Crispy Fries ($14). I still had to figure out dessert, but knew for now I had to tackle the buttery hot rolls that came over. I couldn't help it and went through three of them. The 'plating' for the fries was cute; an upscale take on a familiar fast food container which balanced next to my salad. I was asked if it was okay everything came out at once, and it worked out perfectly. I'm not crazy about thick cut bacon (and this was certainly thick), but the flavor blended well with the blue cheese, cool crisp lettuce, and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Finally for the best part, the Peanut Butter Pie ($16) won this round, and I'm glad I selected this over the Very Chocolate Cake/Loulou's Cookies & Cream Gelato Cake . Although I found this to be quite rich, this rounded out the meal perfectly. Two mini chocolate cookies are brought out right before/alongside the check. As for the service: earlier while I was seated, I noticed at least seven bartenders behind the bar. As the night went on, I can certainly see why there were so many. What was nice is I noticed that several would inquire how one was doing, it wasn't just restricted to 'your' bartender. Matt was the only name I caught, but everyone else seemed nice. The only negative thing-and this is really pushing it-would be as I was trying to leave, it was harder to get the attention of one of the many as it was quite busy. One of the guys offered to give my check to a bartender, but he gave it to one I hadn't ever seen, and it took a little longer than I would have liked. I also saw hot towels being offered to some guests; I wasn't one of them, but could have used one due to the bread and fries I was consuming. A big guy in a light-colored suit roamed the dining room, and I believe this was a manager. As usual, they tend to ignore me (I can count on one hand how many times a manager actually approached me/our party to see how things went) so I guess I just look like an 'issue/problem' where they tend to avoid me. Well, had he stopped by, I would have let him know this was-overall-a really good time that warrants a future visit so I can try those other items that were in the running for tonight successful dining experience.I look forward to the next time when I can hopefully treat myself to an actual steak!
Was excited to try this place out and it did not disappoint
Was excited to try this place out and it did not disappoint whatsoever! The complementary bread was so flaky and buttery. We ordered the filet, bone in ribeye, creme brûlée corn, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The steak was cooked at a perfect temperature. I'm usually big on mac and cheese and it did lack a little flavor. The corn was actually my favorite side. We topped it off with the warm vanilla cake. I must say it pushed its way to my top favorite desserts. Overall service was great and ambiance was good. Would definitely return.
Good place
For a break while shopping up a storm, come here! Call ahead of time and ask for a table on the patio on a nice day. Their brunches are especially delicious.
