Great gift idea from your kids
Great time and lots of cooking info. My wife and I attended the class tonite and John & Suzanne were excellent. John took his time explaining and offering suggestions. It was an awesome experience.

I am very disappointed in this store and service. We order a ZAVOR LUX LCD MULTICOOKER and the Tampa store sent us a previously used, defective product. After hours on the phone with no one answering and numerous emails we finally were given instructions to return the product. We are now going on 3 weeks and a replacement product has not been sent. This is the worst customer service I have seen. I hear they are going out of business but that is no excuse for this service.

Took the WW class. The instructor was rude and did not make the make the meals in accordance with the ww recipes she handed out. This was not a college credit course it was meant to be a good time, and it was not. This instructor would glare at people who were doing things she did not like (like saying a simple phrase to the person standing next to you) or she would point out to the class that you werenโt doing something correctly in a humiliating fashion. You cannot just freely add extra oil to the frying pan and expect the point count to be even slightly accurate. Not worth a penny spent.

Overall this was a fun experience for me and my husband. We would definitely come again with friends or family. The chef was knowledgeable but maybe a little absentminded. He burnt a few things as he was distracted by talking to guests. I would do another menu though as this one wasn't the best. The horseradish crust fell off the tenderloin as soon as it went into the pan and you couldn't taste it. The chocolate mousse was good. Bring your own bottle of wine.

In a few of the class descriptions on line you see 2 people at the counter cooking. There were 15/16 people shoulder to shoulder. That's the least of it. Here's the "Holiday Entertaining: Hors Dโoeuvresr" menu I signed up for - a zucchini patty fritter, a butternut squash crostini, and a beef wellington. The class was Appetizers so I was uncertain about Beef Wellington as it's a serious process. I figured it was another app. The crostini was disgusting, DISGUSTING. The fritters were pancakes. I didn't get a fritter - there weren't enough. The Beef Wellington?! He cut the tenderloin into 5" filets. Four people seared them. They rubbed a little mustard and horseradish on it. And then he demonstrated the pastry wrapping. The pastry was frozen from Publix. He took half a sheet and pulled it to thin it out. Then, holding both up, he tried to wrap the beef in the pastry which was an I Love Lucy episode. It was totally ridiculous. No Duxelles. The mushrooms were sauteed sliced in gravy that appeared out of nowhere with onions. The mushrooms where a side; no duxelles. The final product? The pastry was uncooked and falling off. It tasted extremely salty and lifeless. The mushrooms has a container of salt on them - I couldn't eat them. The "fritter" was a blank zucchini pancake. The crostini was the worst 'appetizer' I've ever had - tied with the rest of them.

Ok if you like working in groups of 4, sometimes only touching the food only once per class. Some instructors are much better than others, Chefs John and Alex being my first choices.

My wife and I received this as a Christmas gift from our kids. Did the Southern Bar-b-q And it was great ! Learned how NOT to cut myself and other basic cooking lessons. The chef was Sharon and her helpers were awesome. The choc cupcakes with cream cheese icy were tremendous. Best thing I learned. They give you menu of planned meal from appetizers to desert. Glad we went. Fun fun fun.

Was looking forward and excited to review my pasta making skills at Sur La Table. Have taken culinary classes at other venues -even at another Sur La Table and enjoyed my experiences. However was very disappointed in this experience. The instructor spent a lot of time talking about herself. The pre-made appetizer for all was made with pork which eliminated all participants who either did not eat pork or who were vegetarians. No one explained where there was water to drink. The two helpers were noisy and distracting throughout the presentation either cleaning or folding or prepping. The dishwasher was loud. The vents near the ceiling were dirty. And the instructor did not explain anything about the actual pasta rolling out tools. The menu was also very bland. Left near the end after the food was served. Tried to send a review to corporate customer service. A day following my emailed message, received a note that they were requesting further information as to whom my complaint should be forwarded. (Clearly typed in message line pasta making class.) 2.5 hours and $150 not well spent.

Had never taken a cooking class previously to this morning. Signed up for a seafood cooking class and I was so happy that I did! We learned so much more than preparing a great meal. We learned how to handle a knife. Was so impressed that I signed up for another class next week. Highly recommended and well worth the price!

Booked a cooking class for a dozen of us. A surprise party for my wife on our 40th anniversary. It was spectacular. Helped me select a great menu then made certain it was a great party. Everyone had a terrific time. Weโll do it again soon.
