AYCE Sushi good variety
Went for AYCE lunch, they open at noon, and we were there right after. Long wait to get seated as they were still getting set up. Menu for lunch AYCE was significant, there were not very many rolls or items that were excluded. The rolls we had were good and seemed fresh. The appetizers were great, such as the poke salad, baked mussels and calamari. They will do half rolls! The price is approx $30/per person.

I ordered one of the carryout specials to try a variety of items. The salmon fashion roll was delicious, as was the Alaska roll, but it had a very rich flavor which might be too much for some people. The Pot stickers were just alright. For the nigiri, I had the smoked salmon which was amazing, the seared tuna which was good but is fishier than the salmon, and the red snapper which wasn't my favorite. I will definitely be returning again.

So, I've been to all the AYCE sushi restaurants in this area (there are literally over a dozen), and Sushi Kaya and their sister restaurant, Sushi Zone (same owners, same management) are right smack at the bottom compared to their competition. On every single level -- food quality/selection, service, atmosphere, decor/appearance, music... they are dead last. You can find WAY better bang/quality for your buck less than a mile away. Good grief, they're bad.

This is one of those places you'll want to come back to again and again. It's also the kind of place that has a reputation for the food versus the decor, so maybe not place you want to bring a date who doesn't love fabulous food over posh surroundings. They do offer great Japanese fare at fair prices. The all-you-can-eat is truly unbeatable. The staff are also amazing - constantly in motion and very helpful with suggestions. I left fully satisfied and plan to return the next time am in town.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. We actually were headed to a different sushi place when our Uber driver suggested this one because the food was better and it was in a better part of town- so he said. For all you can eat sushi, this was excellent. Food was tasty and fresh. Also a great value.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome sushi & value
We were ready for good sushi and had several people suggest we go to try the All you can eat sushi off strip. We were skeptical. Realize itโs in a strip mall, not a big fancy restaurant. But it is awesome, authentic and what a fantastic offer. You get to order whatever you want from the menu for all you can eat for $28. You can get sushi, nigiri, soup, kebabs, appetizers, noodles, deserts. It was all delicious. They take reservations so make one. It can get busy! I will go back without a doubt.

Amazing sushi, great customer service and great prices. Iโve been to Kaya many times and am never disappointed. It was my wifeโs first time eating Sushi and she loved Kaya. Her favourite was the Tornado roll! Very reasonably priced all you can eat option! It is a bit off the strip but it is worth the drive.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Sushi Buffet
For a Sushi buffet, the quality is spectacular. My recommendations: Cinderella, Alaska, Amigo, Garlic Edamame. It is not such a family restaurant, not recommended for children under 8 years old. They already take reservations which is a plus, since before the wait to get in used to exceed half an hour. The place is definitely recommended, I always bring family and friends.

I loved the food here. Such a fresh taste and so good. The employees here are straight to the point and serve a take out order and minutes!!
No cons.
Pros: fresh, fast
Food Poison - Beware
Once restaurants in Vegas had the green light to open for dine in, I decided to give Sushi Kaya a try.
Upon entering, the place is lit low. Staff were friendly and attentive. Sushi tasted ok, however, when I got home my stomach was really in pain.
Took a look at the reviews on yelp, which is a platform for reviews like TA but is use heavily more in the states, to find out that sushi kaya has always have a problem with their sanitation and also have bugs problem. They are also known for a lot of reviews pointing to their lack of cleanliness
I do not recommend this place.
Best all you can eat sushi ever
I loved this place. We were a party of 4 and ordered like 8 rolls! They were all fantastic, and I loved the fact that they were all so different and unique, but the taste was great. Would definitely go back, hands down. Mochi ice cream was great too, loved the matcha one.
