Not a great experience which was ashame
Disappointed that we were not informed of closure to half the restaurant, therefore only one male and one female toilet, for the whole restaurant. What a joke!! We were aware of a two hour time slot, but when service is slow and then to be rushed out. We had 11 people spending money. What can I say!!! If you advise on wine, then don’t have the bottle required, please tell the customer of the price difference and when asked if they like the one chosen and customer said no. Ask and understand why, instead of walking away. As if not bothered. The only positive thing of the evening was the food. Amazing!! Been to sushi samba before in Dubai and experience was a little shaky then, but we went back. For a second chance. Not sure we will recommend now? Would like to think of them reaching out to make good of the situation, but watch this space???

Good times with friends
Fun atmosphere to go with friends or as a couple. The food is good and the DJ keeps the vibe lively into the late night. The decor and scenic view of the palm add to the ambiance.

Definite go anytime but for special occasions definite
We friends had hone for dinner. Excellent food & different Japanese food. The peruvian corn salad, tofu taco & Aubergine with miso is to die for. Our server Oti was super & friendly. We were completely vegetarians had enough options but just a request plz keep some more vegetarian options of Sushi. Super ambience, food, service. Definite must go. Highly recommend it.

Superb food great views and a must visit restaurant when you are in dubai.they serve some superb cocktails. Buisness lunch is very reasonable.
Dinner visit
The restaurant is a Japanese fusion restaurant. It’s a fun place with music and show dancing. The food was good and also the service.
AMAZING SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE
We had an amazing dining experience and excellent service with their amazing staff Jessie and John. They are very oriented and friendly. The food is outstanding also! Overall, we enjoyed our lunch and will surely keep coming back.
Pathetic Customer Service
My Birthday was on the 1st of June landed at the airport at 22:45 by the time I was done at the airport and collecting luggage it took some time. My boyfriend and I made a reservation at 00:15, we arrived at Sushi Samba 2 minutes later I.e 00:17 check on the cctv. The hostess upstairs by the restaurant Was very rude and inconsiderate. We explained to her we had abit of delay and it was my birthday if they could let us in to dine and she said No, we are late and they always hear that it’s someone’s birthday everyday so it’s like it was nothing special to her. We are in-house guests staying in St Regis next door and that hospitality experienced at the restaurant was utterly unacceptable and obnoxious. Hospitality in Doha is 100% better maybe the hostess could learn to have a heart and Empathize.
Excellent vibrant evening
Booked on the day and managed to get a table 1 row back from the window. Lovely meal, great service and loud vibrant atmosphere, bill came to £400 for mains, deserts and a couple of cocktails, so pricy but worth it. The japanese donuts were amazing - hollow so a nice light desert. Lovely washroom with high end Toiletries and good selection of wines. Amazing view of the palm. Would recommend and return 👌
Fabulous SushiSamba
SushiSamba was fantastic. It was the perfect end to a wonderful holiday for my niece in Dubai. The food was divine and the service was brilliant. The waiters were attentive without being overbearing, they were knowledgable and courteous. Michial, the assistant manager was a wonderful host and made the whole experience memorable. I will definitely be back!

Most Dubai restaurants are top notch but Sushi Samba Dubai has realized that to take it to the next level, one must compete on service. Right from the (1) booking experience, previously with Milica and now seamless transition to Catarina, both of whom meticulously ensure my customized requests are catered to (2) food experience which again is not only delicious but I am always able to request bespoke portion sizes that they happily cater too e.g. “I need even number of pieces so change the 5 pieces to 6 and the 3 pieces to 4 and feel free to charge me as you like” is my regular request which they always get right and finally (3) the ambience is gorgeous and the staff is lovely, even the few times they have made mistakes like getting the drink order wrong or forgetting the wasabi, they have been quick to fix the issue, always with a pleasant disposition and that is all that matters. Keep it up Sushi Samba, this decade is all about competing on service and you have a head start! 🥂
Overpriced for average sushi and they overcharge!
Overrated arrogant place! Average sushi at best and very overpriced! We were charged the more expensive wine and manager refused to refund or even credit the difference. We were removed from our table after 2 hours because of the 2 hour seating limit but then they kept the table empty for 45 minutes and there were other tables empty as well. Never going again and so many better places to go to in Dubai. I do not recommend at all!

Fantastic view combined with good food, great service make the restaurant a pleasurable experience. Their Sushi is exceptionally great.

You won't get better food anywhere in Dubai. Simple. Just all round amazing. Entertainment, service and food were all outstanding.

Palm View
We did the set business lunch at Sushisamba. Seated by the window on the 51st floor restaurant, we had a spectacular view of the palm. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were delicious. While we enjoyed the view, the food and the entire experience, there was a small glitch. We found hair in one of the dishes - not expected at a place like Sushisamba. The dish was replaced, but it did tarnish the experience a bit. Otherwise, a place I would like to revisit.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
