God awful
This place is atrocious. Maybe the owners are set on a tourist trap model of business but if you want good food or cocktails go literally anywhere but here. I assume they only have a kitchen manager because if you call yourself a chef and serve the food this dump does you should be ashamed of yourself. I ordered the Petersburger and it gives this beautiful city a bad name. I paid $15 for the quality of the McDonalds dollar menu. The views of the bay and city are spectacular but there are tons of restaurants that are actually good before you walk the pier. Oh, and also the burger didn’t even come with fries. This place screams dirt cheap owners and I’m pretty sure they got their chef from a fast food joint. It was that bad.

My family drove up to St Pete from Fort Myers to celebrate Easter! The brunch was spectacular, but we were mostly impressed by our service from Donna! She made us laugh & feel right at home. Thank you for making our Easter, Mama D!

A bit pricey, but we have never had a bad meal here. The views are unbeatable and the place is very clean. Staff are great. I highly recommend the fish tacos or grouper sandwich!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful experience
From the time we entered and were greeted until the time we left after we were finished eating we were treated fantastic by everyone involved. The place is very clean, the view is over the top beautiful, the food was delicious, and the prices were very affordable. We definitely will return the next time we’re in the area. This place is five stars and that’s only because I can’t rate it a six!

Visited this restaurant for Brunch at 1pm on a Sunday. We were seated promptly and our server. Mike, was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the kitchen. After waiting 25 minutes + for our order, my Eggs Benedict were delivered lukewarm and overcooked. My wife's pancakes were also only warm. It was as if the order had been sitting for a time before delivery. Not wanting to delay the experience any longer, we ate our meals without complaint. On the plus side, the view is wonderful, and prices are reasonable, although a 20% service charge is added to each check in lieu of a tip.

Not the experience I was expecting. Coming to St Petersburgs and being on the pier with a great view I was expecting some awesome food and service. I ordered a speciality cocktail and my husband and daughter ordered teas. Never once did the waiter come back to fill their glasses or ask if I would like another cocktail. We also had water glasses which we started drinking from after the appetizer and those were also never once filled again. We ordered our dinner and it was lacking in flavor. I got the scallops Mac and cheese. It says it comes with jalapeños and a kick. I never once had any type of heat in that meal. If you are looking for a great seafood place go someplace else. This is not it.
Be the first to ReplyA Very Pleasant Lunch
When we have out of town guests, we like to show them things that make St Pete so special. Our visit here was no exception. A beautiful location, very good food, and service that was too knotch. Our server, Donna, was personable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view, good food.
Four of us had lunch. Food and service very good. They do add a 20% service charge in lieu of tip. View is great. Ask for a table by the windows. Park at the base of the Pier and take the free trolley to the restaurant.

Excellent restaurant on a pier with a fabulous view. The service was also excellent. The food was delicious and creative. Overall, a wonderful experience
Be the first to ReplyOxymoronic : Nice scenic restaurant / Rude, obnoxious, offensive Server
My wife and I while touring St. Petersburg, FL.arrived at Teak around 4: 45 pm on Feb. 19,2024 . They agreed to seat us in spite of our "lack of a reservation ". The place was about 1/3 occupied . We informed the server, " Ariel " that we wished to split a burger and fries and two drinks , as we planned to go out for dinner later. Ariel made a disparaging face and sarcastic toned condescending remark , causing us to feel uncomfortable, . Throughout our service , Ariel ignored us, not once checking in w/ us as to our satisfaction w/ the meal or service. Note , this is a mandatory 20% service charge added to the check in lieu of a tip, establishment. We had to track Ariel down for the check . Ariel asked if we wanted desert , we declined and she once again made a cynical remark with a mocking expression. Note: my wife wrote a comment on the restaurant copy of the receipt .While waiting for the elevator to leave, Ariel compounded her , obnoxious behavior/ attitude by rudely blowing a kiss to my wife. Our impression is that a low level of spending warrants a low level of service .

2/9/24 Teak is about midpoint between us and friends we hadn’t seen in months, and a place the four of us had been wanting to try since the renovations to the Pier area were completed. Although we didn’t plan for this to be a Valentine’s event, the time for our availability just turned out that way. Due to the distance we were all driving we agreed to a 6pm time and I made a reservation. My husband and I arrived early on a beautiful late Friday afternoon and enjoyed the ambiance of the Pier area watching boats, people and more. Our friends messaged that their sitter arrived very late and could be almost 30 minutes late . My husband and I walked in about 5 minutes early for our reservation and didn’t know if we’d be seated or if we’d have to wait for the rest of our party as a few other places have required. We were pleased to be both warmly welcomed and then shown to a beautiful window table with a view of the city. Our server, Seth, was very understanding about our wanting to wait to order when our friends arrived. We did decide to order the Tuscan wine as we watched the day turn to twilight. We also got to see some of the wonderful looking starters and entrees pass by our table to other guests. When our friends arrived they decided on cocktails as we watched the sunset and they easily agreed to share the charcuterie tray. The medley of meats, cheese, spread, olives, nuts and a few cracker was easily large enough as a starter for the four of us. Seth even asked if we’d like that to be split on the 2 checks. By the time we were finished with it, our entrees arrived. All of us ordered different items and thoroughly enjoyed them. The fish & chips my husband ordered, he said was flavorful, moist, hot and a huge portion! He finished it all, as did our guests, though I can’t remember exactly what 2 items they ordered. They both ate every morsel. My order was the steak frites and the steak was perfectly cooked, moist, and just about fork tender. The fries were finished with rosemary and Parmesan cheese. I’ve got to try that at home, even if I know I am not likely to achieve the same outstanding results of crisp outside with a hot soft inside. I was the only one who couldn’t finish all of my meal, but Seth asked if he could box the remainder for me. To which I willingly agreed. He was a wonderful server who seemed to know exactly when to come to the table. The interior of the restaurant is lovely without being fussy. The reception desk is shaped like a small classy boat. The staff there smiled and seemed genuinely interested in being helpful, as was the hostess. I wish I could remember their names. Comfortable elegant larger than typical chairs really helped us relax and sit back. The walls are mostly windows affording great views. Plus despite the mostly full tables, we found it easy to hear one another talk, which is really the purpose for our getting together! On top of that we thought the prices moderate. I do wish we weren’t 90 minutes away from Teak, because we could absolutely become regulars. While you might get lucky to get a table without a reservation, I strongly suggest making one rather than be disappointed.

Be the first to ReplyAmazing Ambiance
It was cold! We had heat coming from 3 different fires- ambiance was amazing. George T made me the best Old Fashions I’ve had… something about no simple syrup but a brown sugar special blah, blah, blah…BEsT I’ve had. Go see George T at the Pier Teak Bar on the top level for great ambiance, views, and service👍🏼👍🏼
Be the first to ReplyAvoid if you have food allergies/sensitivities
Pros: Lovely views, excellent ambiance, variety of options. Cons: lacking in attention to detail, even selecting items that were not to contain gluten, was definitely exposed. Food itself was just okay. Not overly flavorful or special. The only reason to go would be the sweeping views of the city.

The Teak Restaurant is at the end of St. Pete Pier! Fabulous views! The food was very good and everyone was pleased with their meals. The service was good, too! ❤️ loved the Restaurant! We will go back!
Be the first to ReplyPaying for the view
We came in a busy Saturday. We first went upstairs and there were people everywhere. Beautiful view of the ocean though. Went down one level to the restaurant teak. Surprisingly there were four seats together at the bar. That was great since it was an hour and a half wait for a regular table. We had two beers, a cocktail and a non alcoholic beverage. We got the burger, the paella, a salad and the fish tacos. The burger was cooked to order but the bartender forgot the sweet potato fries and side of bbq sauce. The fish tacos were pretty good. Came with a side of yellow rice. I would have preferred fries. The paella was ok but not much fish for $31. My friend said it was kind of dry too. Salad was fine. Total bill before tip was $111 which I think was fairly reasonable.
Be the first to ReplyPaella
Nice place, okay serves, beautiful girls, horrible food. My 33 USD Paella wasn't, it was RICE-ELLA! Nice place to see around, it's only okay for the view, not to eat there, maybe just a salet, which was okay.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view- that’s about it
The food is not that great- cold sweet potatoes fries. The soup was bland. Slow, slow service. We canceled part of the order bc the wait was so long- although they offered to comp it… everyone else had already finished their food.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view, mediocre food, bad service
This was our first time visiting when family were in town and we were disappointed. They told us they were busy, but the restaurant was half empty when we arrived at 5:45. It took nearly 20 min for a beer to be delivered to the table. My companion ordered coffee which took 10 min and then another 20 for a refill (we are brewing more). Food was OK. Two dishes were good - a pasta and paella. The fish sandwich was cold and the sweet potato fries had clearly been sitting a long time Our waters were refilled and the water had a horrible chemical taste and smell. The manager eventually came and gave a Luke warm apology and told us they replaced a filter. No real apology or offer to make it right. This is a tourist place, so they don’t really focus on service or care about a repeat crowd. Skip dinner and just have a picture from the pier
Be the first to ReplyWaitress too lazy to bus appetizer plates...
The waitress who assisted in serving our table was too lazy to bus the appetizer plates before placing our entrees down. The table had little to no empty room for the diner to shove the appetizer plate aside to help the poor hapless thing. She was assisted by a waiter and she could have easily picked up the appetizer plates previous to him placing the main course down. A very easy task for experienced wait staff in a wee managed restaurant. This is not the first time this has happened in Teak. It was brought to the attention of the female manager previously. Unfortunately, this restaurant expects its customers to bus their own tables and hold their appetizer plates in their laps. I gave this a two star "poor" rating specifically on service. However, the food is acceptable. The view is excellent. The pier is wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyThis is definitely a restaurant, not a coffee bar.
This restaurant (not a coffee bar) has excellent food and a view. Enjoyed the grouper and paella. Teaki punch was great Brussel app was also delicious. Again, can't beat the view.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view and great place!
At the end of St Pete pier is a delightful food venue with a great gulf view! Our food and service was great. I had the Cuban sandwich and my friends the grouper and the fish tacos.

The space, the food, our server Celeste, the breathtaking view. Everything was just perfect! We did an early lunch so it wasn't crowded, and weather wise it really couldn't have been better. The grouper sandwich was delicious!
