Great Espresso Martini
This place is beautiful, swanky and has a great view of a nearby mountain. We stopped here for a drink and although the price tag for an espresso martini was a little steep it is for sure one of the best, most smooth espresso martinis I have ever had. If you want a relaxed, upscale, drinking experience, this is your spot. It is away from the hustle and bustle club night life you can find elsewhere in Scottsdale. Hot Takes & Hot Plates: 9.4/10 or 5/5 Stars
Overhyped.
thea was a disappointment. The food was great, but the subpar service made the entire experience fall flat. Despite requesting a view of Camelback we were seated on the opposite side at a high top. We were celebrating a special occasions, nothing was mentioned. We requested an umbrella to be moved slightly, which was denied. The service was the most disappointing. Our server was absent for long stretches of up to 30 minutes. We had to flag down random staff walking by to place orders. It felt like we were an afterthought. The server mentioned the auto gratuity only after collecting payment. While this is common practice, it's also common practice to mention it as a courtesy *before running the card* Especially when the bill is $1,000+ Overall the experience fell short and did not meet the standard of a 5-star property. I think this place is overhyped. It felt more like a club than a restaurant.
A place to go for a ligt meal with drinks or a full Mediterranean mealin an elegant setying.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary. It is located on the top floor of the Global Ambassador Hotel. It is an elegant restaurant with spectacular views of the city and Camelback Mt. It is a great place for drinks and small plates, or a full meal. Our waiter, Shane, guided us through the menu with excellent suggestions and was a constant help with choosing our dishes. Most people came for drinks and small plates. This included me. My husband and I shared Mediterranean salad, and he had a delicious salmon dish with a variety of vegetables. The baclava for dessert was scrumptious as was the chocolate rum cake.
Over rated, to be avoided
It’s a place where you go and pay up for the vibe and nice views. Food Service by inexperienced people for people that just want to be seen. Average food at best, slow service, poor hospitality and expensive. If you wear a sport coat or jacket you’re over dressed. Sandals, hats, jerseys are all acceptable.
Make reservations and ask for a table with a view of the mountain.
Some friends and I went here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is on the rooftop of the hotel. The hostess seated us in immediately. We had a table that was on the inside with a clear view of camelback mountain I will have to recommend this if it is available. For appetizers, we got the dumplings and ricotta dip with pita bread. When I say it was delicious, it was delicious!. We ate it all. For my main meal, I ordered the shrimp Scorpio. A couple of ladies ordered the lamb chops and one ordered the Bronzino fish. Then we ordered a couple of sides for the table. We want to toast and I do not drink alcohol so the server recommended a mock tail. And I do not remember the name of it. But it was so good. It was made with tonic water, but I substituted the tonic water with sprite. And it was delicious. I took some photos that I will upload. But you will just have to go and experience the food for yourself. I would recommend parking with the valet parking. It cost $10. Otherwise, I believe to park in the garage is a little more costly than valet if you stay longer than two hours.
Service of property was not acceptable .!!
Upon arrival to my dinner reservation I was stopped before even approaching to entrance and was told my attire was not to the standards.!!! And that I couldn’t come in or had to put my jacket on .!! It was embarrassing and very loud for people to stare .!! I have dined in Scottsdale and high end restaurants and also at Global few times never been treated this way .!!! Once in was able to get in and got to the restaurant Thea hostess informed me we had 4 min to order food which was not the case.!! Once we were seated we rushed to order food then come to find out per our server kitchen was not closing .!! Felt really rushed with ordering and once we were done no one asked if we wanted another drink or take any of our food to go.!!! Very disappointing in the service.!! Upon our way down to the lobby police officer and security were standing by the lobby bar entrance and aggressively told “we are not a club we are a hotel” lobby bar is closed .!!! People were still ordering drinks and going in and out.!!! Very disappointed Actual picture of the attire for the dinner .!!!
Fascinating
This is the place to see and be seen. There is inside and outside seating with some views. Lots of bars, a good menu and delicious drinks. Crowded and expensive but great people watching with good service. Weird location with valet only parking make a reservation.
Pretty pricey but all the beautiful people are on display
Pretty pricey but all the beautiful people are there. It is the place to be seen and a place that you must see. The views are spectacular. The food is passable and the portions are quite small. A single chicken skewer is $23 and holds about 3 oz of chicken. The baba ghanouj was tasty but very small. We had the greek potatoes for $18 that included about 20 french fries and a small dipping cup with tzaziki.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to théa Phoenix at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the théa Phoenix page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ElaborateHouse74, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ElaborateHouse74 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ElaborateHouse74 for any questions Peter may have as ElaborateHouse74 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ElaborateHouse74 now uses their connections at théa Phoenix to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ElaborateHouse74 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ElaborateHouse74 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ElaborateHouse74's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at théa Phoenix!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
