The Bedford by Martha Stewart Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
MONDAY DINNER: $90 ROASTED WHOLE CHICKEN
Last year when I went to Vegas I read a magazine article from my hotel room that Martha Stewart would be opening a restaurant at Paris Las Vegas. When I traveled back to Vegas this year I was intrigued by going to her restaurant. On the morning of my dinner reservation, which was Monday evening - about a week after July 4, I passed by this restaurant and noticed a prix fixe menu for $99.95 that consisted of four items: caesar salad, pierogis, roast chicken, and upside-down lemon meringue pie. The prix fixe menu was helpful as it provided a guide. Would each person ordering the prix fixe menu be too full before the roast chicken? Also if you order a whole roast chicken it costs $89.95. With the prix fixe menu as a guide we ordered the following menu to share: caesar salad, pierogis, and upside-down lemon meringue pie. Ordering those items to share and getting a whole chicken saves money for each person. There first dish was the caesar salad. In the past I've eaten caesar salads with too much dressing. The caesar salad at The Bedford had enough dressing that you can taste the lettuce. The next item was the pierogis. This was the item from the prix fixe menu that we thought should share from the main menu because pastas can be filling. I never ate pierogis before. I wasn't sure if the filling would be too heavy. A good sign of a pasta is if the noodle is al dente. The noodles of the of pierogis at The Bedford were al dente. What made the pierogis stood out was the brown butter. That ingredient made the pasta have an umami taste. The real main event was the roast chicken, which is the signature dish of this restaurant. There was a lot of hype regarding the roast chicken at The Bedford. With this hype comes expectations and comparisons. Those comparisons for me are the three best half chickens I ate at an eatery: 1) poulet roti at Bouchon in Yountville, CA, 2) half chicken at Chicken In A Barrel in Waimae, HI 3) half huli-huli chicken at Randy's Huli Chicken and Ribs in Kealakekua, HI The whole roasted chicken was served at the tableside where the chef carved the chicken into quarters. While the chef was carving the server said the process of cooking the chicken takes 48 hours that includes the brining and slow cooking. In addition the server said the skin is crispy. The chef then explained the carcass from the chicken is used to make gravy. Growing up I always that you need gravy with turkey. As I started to get older I questioned if the gravy adds flavor or moisture. For Thanksgiving dinner when I started brining turkey before baking I came to the conclusion that gravy adds moisture. If you brine chicken or turkey and the meat came out moist there is no need for gravy in my opinion. Then the chef doused the gravy over the chicken. This process eliminated the crispy skin. I'll first say this about the roast chicken - it is delicious. However the roast chicken isn't what I call spectacular for that price. The gravy masks the flavor of the brined chicken. I was tasting more of the gravy than the chicken. If the intent of the roast chicken was to highlight the crispy skin, then having the gravy pouring over the chicken is unnecessary. One of the comparisons I made was the poulet roti I ate at Bouchon. The roast chicken from that restaurant had crispy skin, which was one of the highlights of the dish. This sounds very Filipino of me but for the gravy at The Bedford instead of pouring it over the roast chicken I would pour it over steamed rice. The last item was dessert - upside down meringue lemon pie. This was play on the upside-down pineapple cake. What was unique about the dessert was the lemon filling inside the meringue. Overall I had a pretty tasty dinner for at The Bedford. The best item of the night was the pierogis with brown butter. The meat on the roast chicken was flavorful, but I believed that the gravy ruined the chicken. I know that might seem one minor thing but we're paying $90 for a whole roast chicken. For that price every detail counts if you are expecting an exceptional, standout roast chicken.
Epic food, epic prices, but worth it!
Epic! The food was amazing, the staff were super attentive. The portion sizes were huge! (Prices were huge too, but hey, well worth it). Only down side is you have to use the general public restrooms which sort of bursts the elegant bubble. Well worth a visit.
Perogies are the stars!
Really good food! Had a very tasty dinner at the Bedford! Everything was exceptional, especially the scallops. The real star of the evening were the perogie appetizers… I don’t even care for them but I could have eaten a platter of these exquisite little numbers!
This was my second time here and it was just was good as
This was my second time here and it was just was good as the first time. There was a mix up in our reservation time that I booked on open table and they still got us in right away. However, our table was right next to the kitchen so it loud and we had to talk really loud to have a conversation. We did get TJ as our server and he was wonderful. I will be asking for him when we go back. He made great recommendations and was very attentive. We started with the ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms which had a very nice breading but the stuffing tasted more of roasted red pepper then ricotta or lemon. I had the halibut and tomato broth, the broth was light but extremely flavorful. The halibut was seared nicely but was dry so having the broth was definitely needed.
Within Paris is a newcomer making a name for herself.
After appreciating the styling, I immediately felt bad for the staff walking on the faux stone flooring. The bread basket appetizer is a carb lover's dream. The stuffed zucchini flowers had a bit of a zing. The 1/2 chicken & scallops with rissoto were delicious. The macaroni and cheese and raspberry tea weren't to the caliber of the rest of the meal. We were too full for dessert. Excellent wait staff. Definitely on a future return list.
Here's a glowing Yelp review for Martha Stewart Bedford
Here's a glowing Yelp review for Martha Stewart Bedford restaurant: --- I am proud to say that Martha Stewart surely created a gem in the Bedford. The interior design mirrors her upstate New York estate, setting the stage for an exquisite dining experience. From the delightful table settings to the impeccable service, every detail was meticulously attended to. The cocktail selection was as impressive as Martha's own hosting skills. From classic old fashions to inventive Martharitas, each drink was expertly crafted, thanks to a skilled bartender who clearly knows their craft. The appetizers, including the pierogies and bread basket, set a high standard that was consistently met throughout the meal. The entrees, from the perfectly seasoned whole chicken to the expertly grilled pork chop and fresh salmon, showcased the kitchen's talent for preparing top-notch dishes. Sides like the asparagus with hollandaise cheese sauce and smashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniments, adding depth and flavor to the meal. And dessert? Don't even get me started. The crème brûlée was heavenly, while the chocolate cake could feed a small army. The only disappointment was the upside-down lemon meringue, but when everything else was so exceptional, it's a minor quibble. Yes, the bill may be on the higher end, but for a special occasion like Mother's Day, it's worth every penny. Martha Stewart Bedford restaurant exceeded all expectations and left us longing for our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine dining with a touch of Martha's signature style. --- Hope you like it!
Bryce was everything that went well! Not gonna lie this
Bryce was everything that went well! Not gonna lie this place is ridiculously pricey. But, it was my birthday and we had a very large party and some of the guests were a little on the tipsy side (being Vegas and all). Bryce held it all together and answered every question, was very kind to every person (including the obnoxious), and made my night lovely with his kind words and jokes. Several thousands of dollars later I still walked away very happy with the results of a long awaited visit. Martha needs to make sure this man stays happy because he is one of the main reasons I would return. Thank you Bryce (Or grandpa according to one guest).
I was recently at The Bedford, Martha Stewart's restaurant
I was recently at The Bedford, Martha Stewart's restaurant at Paris on the strip. I just went in for appetizers and a drink. The restaurant is classically pretty on the inside. I ate at the bar for this time. I had a glass of their French champagne which was dry and crisp, the way I like it. I ordered the giant crab cake and the four cheese Mac & Cheese. I'm not really a crab cake person, but I wanted to eat something that had protein that wasn't red meat or cheese. This was one of the best crab cakes I've ever had. Warm, moist, huge, it smelled great (not fishy) and was very tasty. Not pictured is the Mac & Cheese. It was another huge portion. I ordered too much, thank goodness for a room with a fridge! The texture was nice, piping hot, but it was just too bland for me. I had full dinner there when it first opened. The bread basket is to die for! The food is good and very good quality. They style of cooking is just a big bland for me over all. The bartender who served me, Joe was very nice and charming.
We loved our visit to the Bedford on my birthday last March.
Our server Bryce was excellent and made it a very special night. We can't wait to go back!
Found the atmosphere stuffy.
Apparently walking into this restaurant requires you allow "the chef" to become your dictator and instruct you on what you can and cannot eat. I've never had a chef tell me what plates and entrees I can and cannot eat from. My lady and I share a lot of plates. We order what we want and we've never run into a situation where a chef tells us that we cannot share plates. Except for some sushi places, but that's usually the all you can eat places and sharing with others who didn't order the AYCE. Imagine if you will, a sushi server acting all boujee and getting uppity with you about sharing rolls, and you kind of get the vibe here. Our server Ishmael got on hind legs when we asked it we could share the PRIX FIXE Menu. It's not okay to share. If my lady was to order it they would not give us an extra plate if we requested it. Apparently the chef ain't down with that. I mistakenly thought I was in the land of the free the home of the brave, but I must have crossed over some hidden border into wonderland where up is down and reality is some sort of dystopian shadow of its former self. Ishmael as a server, needs work on his bedside manner. So what perplexed me the most was that you couldn't share a meal without ordering another entrée. I would have needed to spend another $60 in order to be able to nibble off of my lady's plate? I actually have a brain so we decided on the salmon and the crabcake. Both were very fishy not that fresh wholesome type of way, think more stinky pinky. I'm guessing, what it smells like when a beached whale explodes. The salmon wasn't too bad, but the crab was like a girl who cuts the string on tampon and forgets it there after a drunk night, just putrid. So I'm kind of glad I didn't shell out for the second entree if it was going to be a smell fest. Overall for the Strip, I must confess there's much better places for far less. If you're trying to impress her, and she knows nothing about quality, the prices here will probably make her think your a big shot and get you the kind of dessert those girls reserve for sugar daddies. So skip it if you don't have to. Thank me later
Tasty with a side of good design!
Great Espresso Martini and tasty food! The ambiance and menu are well curated and staff are attentive and friendly. I appreciated the attention to detail to all aspects of the dinning experience.
Fourth time here.
Never disappointed. Service terrific thanks to Bryce and the rest of the staff. Worth your time when you visit Las Vegas. My wire recommends the minestrone soup and bread basket, (yes, it is awesome), and I recommend the chicken. A little New York cheesecake, plus the red tea, and your food experience is complete. We were here for our anniversary, the ambiance was perfect.
Not really sure why the ratings are high.
Although the restaurant is cozy, the service was great, the food was very basic American Food. Nothing in the menu would wow you for the price they are charging. I am not a fan of Martha Stewart, so maybe the reviews here are from her fans from out of town that have minimal dining options where they live, and they rated this restaurant for the experience of dining at her restaurant. With over 4,000 restaurants in Las Vegas, I would say take your hard earned money elsewhere where you will at least have an exceptional tasting meal.
Veronica, Bryce, and George absolutely made our first night
Veronica, Bryce, and George absolutely made our first night in Vegas the best night of the trip! the food is amazing (obviously) but the service is OUTSTANDING across the board
If you are staying at the Paris or Horseshoe you have
If you are staying at the Paris or Horseshoe you have access to The Bedford. Not that you wouldn't if you didn't stay here, but it is easier to get here if you are staying nearby. I recently saw a TikTok that was expressing that no matter what time of day, this place is never busy. That was not my experience. We made a reservation prior to showing up and good thing we did, because it was packed. But they did nail another thing in that TikTok, the pricing. If you are expecting to have a great meal at a decent price...go elsewhere. We showed up at our reservation time and were taken to our seats. It's homey in here. You actually feel like you are sitting at a home in the countryside. If you are lucky enough to be in the room that has a fireplace, this is more obvious. Once we arrived to our table we saw a reserved sign on it and were seated. Our server approached and asked if we wanted anything to drink, making it a point to show us the drink menu. I'm not a big drinker, but the list was extensive. We asked our server what was good on the menu and he pointed out a few things that were very tempting. However, I wasn't as hungry as my colleagues. Good thing too, I wasn't looking to spend that much on a single meal. I mean, I would have if necessary, but not at that. But, and I really mean this, if you get an appetizer, the size of one of those is like a typical meal elsewhere. By the time that our server came back, I couldn't make my mind up on most anything. I also had questions, they don't really state how much of an item you might get, just a generalized description of the items. I did end up going with Big Martha's Pierogies and the side of broccoli with cheese. This, for me, was more than enough for a meal. You get six pierogies that are supposedly Martha's mother's recipe. Potato filling in a brown butter. That butter was amazing. The broccoli was amazing as well. That cheese sauce mixture had me going back again and again. We also got the House-made Bread Basket which come with an array of breads. Great for snacking until you food shows up. Towards the end our our meal our server returned to see if we needed anything else. I've never really seen someone be so professionally disappointed in a table. After all the hassle we had for choosing our options, the table next to us (which were more colleagues) picked up our tab. Very nice, but his face and it felt like I was on a sitcom where the middle class family goes to a restaurant considered high end. I have been to those places and if you want to exude that, maybe have a restaurant that is a bit more secluded than this. He did end up telling us that when Martha visits this establishment she sits at the table we were at. Or maybe that's a line they give everyone here.
Wow!!!! This place is amazing.
The food and service was . Loved the intimate environment for my wife's birthday dinner. Our server Edgar was great checking on us. The scallops and halibut were on point. This is is a must if you're at the Paris hotel

My wife and I went a few weeks back and the food and service were awesome. The only thing we didn't enjoy were the artichokes. They were do dry for our liking. The beef tartare was really good. We really enjoyed the squash blossoms. The Lemon risotto with scallops was so good I wanted a second serving. Finally the upside down lemon merengue pies was like nothing I had ever had before, it was delicious. The ambience is really nice and relaxing. I would definitely come back for a meal.

Martha's restaurant is amazing! Everything seems to have
Martha's restaurant is amazing! Everything seems to have her personal touch! The past 2 times we visited Vegas, we ate here every day! The service is outstanding! They make you feel right at home and as if you've known them for a very long time! Rochelle & Jeanette are amazing servers! They are very detailed and are always making sure everything is perfect! That's another reason we keep coming back! The bread basket is amazing, you have to try it! There's nothing like it! The crab cake is the best I've ever had and the lemon drop is my favorite drink! There is a new chopped salad on the menu and it was delicious! Everything is prepared fresh and the detail that is put into each meal is just amazing! The steak was also amazing and prepared perfectly as well as the smash potato! Everything is delicious! We'll be back in May!
Had the opportunity to eat lunch at The Bedford by Martha
Had the opportunity to eat lunch at The Bedford by Martha Stewart while in Las Vegas for a conference. It's only open for lunch and dinner on certain days. Which is really a shame. It's a beautiful venue and could be used/open for other occasions. I was here for lunch, had the halibut with tomato broth. It was deliciously prepared. Had the creme brule, which was perfect and was paired with champagne. The place was not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Thus place would benefit from having other service/meal opportunities, ie, a formal "Tea Service", an elegant tea with small pastries, scones, etc., that might/would attract a different crowd than casino patrons. The venue is beautiful enough to support this. And would certainly bolster the restaurant. I would go to "tea" at Martha Stewart's anytime! BTW, Joe at the bar was excellent, drink wise, service wise and conversation wise.
So good.
.. But you have to have a big appetite.. I had the squash stuffed florets.. So good.. Then lemon meringue Upside Down Pie was the best so worth it. I'll be back
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Bedford.
It was one of the best meals we had while staying in Las Vegas. It is located inside of the Paris Hotel. We opted for the "experience" and got to dine at Martha's personal tables. You get to dine in the famous Brown Room, which is a replica of a room in Martha Stewarts personal home in Bedford, New York. It was $25 extra per person and worth it. We sat in extremely comfortable winged back chairs at a beautiful table in the Brown Room. It is tucked in the back of the restaurant and gives you a more private and quite atmosphere where you are given the best service. The room is gorgeous. We started off with still water and a cocktail. My husband tried Martha's Manhattan and thought it was amazing. We then ordered the rest of our meal that was delivered to us in courses. It was well spaced out for us to enjoy and not feel rushed. First and foremost, we had the famous house made bread basket. This was one of my favorite parts of the meal. The basket included the JuneBug's garden flatbreads, sour cherry-rosemary focaccia and warm Parker House rolls. My favorite was the flatbread. It was huge and colorful with all the decorative veggies on it. It tasted delicious. My husband loved the cherry-rosemary focaccia. It was warm, fresh and indulging. Our next course was Big Martha's Pierogis. You get a total of 5 Peirogis filled with potato and brown butter. These were rich and delicious. Very comforting and just the right amount for sharing with two people. We split a Caesar Salad. It was cold, crisp and refreshing. For our main dishes we tried the lemon risotto with sea scallops and the 10 oz. prime filet. The risotto was creamy and lemony and the scallops were cooked perfectly and had such wonderful sweetness. The filet was cooker a perfect medium rare and served with a side of Béarnaise sauce, which was decadent and perfect. To complete are amazing meal we tried the upside down lemon meringue pie. It was light, sweet and tart and the meringue had a nice crunch that mimicked a pie crust. Overall an amazing experience with one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. I'd like to thank Ischmael, our server. He was amazing and made our experience unforgettable.
Worth the try
The food was pretty good, although pricey but its Vegas, the staff were pretty friendly and attentive, I would comeback here.
Excellent food, outstanding service.
We came looking for an experience, left with a full pallets and a quality dining environment for a family memory. Well done Bedford~
Very expensive, underwhelming
The tip off to what was to come was ordering $20 tin of bread for the table. The butter was good, the bread not so much. It was downhill from there as the next course was a tasteless, mushy shrimp cocktail. The crab cake had little flavor. We will not return here on our next trip to Las Vegas.
Get the Perogies ToGo
We love Martha so I was super excited to visit her restaurant, the host staff we so sweet (even upgraded our table) but our waiter was pleasant but short and not really hospitable. We spent $135 for the perogies ($30), squash blossoms, butternut salad and pumpkin pie. Brown butter perogies were good but not $30 good, salad was dressed deliciously. The disappointment was with the deep dish pumpkin pie. It’s not deep dish, it’s a tart. I think ours was old because the crust wasn’t crisp, the meringue had an off flavor and the pie filling was weeping (losing water). I don’t think we’ll return unfortunately.
Hard Pass
Was seated quickly as restaurant wasn’t busy for obvious reasons. Extremely over priced mediocre tasteless food. $20 for basket of bread. Drinks were poured short, Minestrone soup was literally tasteless. Asked for Med cooked meat and came out raw with just a sear. Incredibly overpriced and low quality. Yes, Martha would be embarrassed to eat here. Wasted time and $
Martha would be so ASHAMED!
Martha would be SO embarrassed. Horrible is the best I can say. First, the food. It’s obviously overpriced, this is Vegas. And I don’t mind paying more for good food. I ordered the Caesar salad and coffee. The best part of the Caesar was the mini croutons. And they weren’t great- but better than the rest of the salad. Flavorless, only a minimum of Parmesan sprinkled on top. And it needed pepper, but none was on the table, and the waitress never came by to offer any, or ask if more Parmesan was needed (it was). The coffee was ABYSMAL! I have never tasted coffee so bitter in my life! And so strong that an ENTIRE serving of ‘creamer’ BARELY made the coffee a light brown. AWFUL! When I did catch the server, she apologized, and said she would brew a new pot. But she forgot, and after I had finished what I could eat of the salad, only then did the coffee show up. And it was only marginally better.
The Bedford by Martha Stewart.
I had dinner with a friend It was a great experience the vibe of the restaurant was very Martha Stewart elegant and classy.Ben was our waiter very informative on the menu.We actually had everything he suggested starting with the home made bread basket Big Martha 's Pierogi's. Then we shared. Caesar salad and the main Entree Lemon Risotto with Sea Scallops & 14 oz. Kurobuta Pork chop.Roasted mushrooms. Dessert deep dish pumpkin pie. I highly recommend stopping by . Ray Knows Vegas
Exquisite
Great experience! Sat in the ‘Brown Room’ food was delicious and well presented. Great ambiance and service. Reservation process at Open Table was confusing.
Awesome
Amazing experience, wait staff, and food! Beautiful restaurant and the bread basket was awesome. The squash salad was delicious and everything was perfect
Like being in Martha's house
Spectacular food. Looks exactly like her home. She is personally invested in the success of this place - it isnt just a licensing play. Ive eaten here twoice almost a year apart and she has been here both times. It is expensive. Food and drinks sublime. The make an excellent dirty martini, very good wine list. Tomahawk steak and strip both delicious. As is the roast chicken. Bread basket and smashed potato not to be missed.
SUB PAR FOOD Not Worth the Trip or the Price : (
My kids and I were in Vegas for the Fontainbleau opening last month. My daughter begged me to go to The Bedford rather to shake things up and see more of the area. We have been big Martha fans for decades and have appeared on her show (back in the day) and our friends are neighbors of her home in Bedford, NY. We were hoping for a great meal. Well, what an awful surpise to have ridiculously over salted food. Mind you, we are not drinkers and as cooks we know the old trick. Over slat the food and the customers will drink more!!! EVERYTHING was over salted - the appetizers were frozen and the mashed postatoes were stiff from sitting out for hours in a warming tray. The chicken was mediocre and very over priced. Lastly, the restaunrant is nearly all gray- very drab and dull but I did love the copper pots and pans in the kitchen. Feels like an airport restaurant : ( We love Martha and all she does but she needs to know what's happening in Vegas. JUST GROSS how her patrons are being played.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
