Baby Shower
The Brass Rail was an amazing place to have a Baby Shower. The room upstairs was beautiful and very spacious. The food was delicious and plentiful. Nancy Guarjardo, the catering manager was so awesome to work with. She made planning my event super easy. The wait-staff were so helpful and pleasant to all of the guests. Thank you so much for a beautiful event! Would definitely recommend hosting a private event there!

Holiday dinner late amiable staff huge portions delicious food reasonably priced. Comfortable seating for dining. The restaurant also has a very accommodating bar you can eat at or just watch a game.

Stopped by to have some lunch and was pleased to have some nice beers on tap, a good chicken sandwich, and great service. Would recommend!

Had a chance to grab lunch here after our meeting concluded and was surprised at the crowd despite arriving mid afternoon. The downstairs dining area is tight but the bar is nice and they found seating for us immediately. The hostess and the server were both expedient and polite and we were well taken care of during our visit.
The appetizers were both prepared well and very tasty - but it’s hard to screw up French onion soup. The bread accompaniment was tasty as well and paired well with the soup or by itself.
My chicken was well prepared but the flavor was not my favorite- but that could be just me as it may not have been strong enough to resonate with my taste palate. Her meal of chicken pasta had the chicken by itself just a touch on the dry side, but when blended together with the pasta and garlic sauce was really very good. This ended up being the meal I wish I would have ordered.
Both entrees were good-sized portions and will fill most people. I would suggest trying The Brass Rail if you are nearby and consider the chicken pasta if you stop in.
Fun Night in Hoboken
We visited just to stroll Washington Street for the holidays. We had read about this establishment and decided it would be our go to for this evening. Great choice. We sat at the bar and had beers with some food. Jill was our barmaid. She is extraordinary and we would go back just to hang with her. We shared a Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad with Grilled Chicken and a Brass Rail Burger. Both very good. I asked Jill for her suggestion for a dessert martini. She suggested the Chocolate or the Espresso. Two of my favorites, but I went with the Chocolate. Loved her recipe. Excellent. We had so much fun we will be back. Parking can be a commodity, but you will find something.

Went with a group of 8 on a Friday night. Out of 8 people, only 2 were happy with meal. for the prices they charge, we expected more. Luke warm, bland. Good atmosphere. Maybe it's better when not so busy, but overall, it was disappointing.

I picked this awesome restaurant to host my oldest daughter's 30th birthday brunch. I have to say that it was the easiest thing to plan from meeting with the assistant manager Nancy Guajardo to emailing and speaking on the phone with the manager Jesse McCraig. My husband and I had the best customer service you can get. They wre very flexible and accommodating in whatever we needed. The restaurant caters to people with all types of food allergies. The brunch menus has a lot to offer and the food was awesome. The best item was the stuffed french ham guyere french toast. The brunch cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend this place to host an event. The spacious upstairs room was recently renovated and it is beautiful. The printed menus looked so elegant and how the tables were arranged and setup. It was beautiful.

Went here on a saturday night with wifey for dinner. We didnt realize it was restaurant week in hoboken. The place wasnt very busy as we went a little after dinner time and sat at the bar and ate.
We did the pre fix 3 course. Tried the mussels and calamari for apps, steak and salmon for dinner, creme brulee and cheese cake for dessert.
The food was pretty good, the service was better and the ambience was nice.
Food was ok. I liked the people watching better.
I ate here with some work colleagues. I had calamari, chicken wings, and garlic-ginger chicken with red pilaf. The food was ok. We could see people walking outside which was great since Washington St. is a very lively thoroughfare.
