Historic.
Iconic. Well maintained and beautiful. Some place one has to visit when coming to Palm Beach. Only downside is it's a bit too large for me, and reminds me of a hotel at Disney with the crowds, the children running around, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but just what it is. Of course when walking the grounds it is beautiful and right on the ocean. Look out and the Gulfstream is right there with the deep blue water letting you know its boundary! Gorgeous and a must see.

Had several meals which most were below standards. Charge $24.00 for only a cup of hot water. The Italian restaurant was the worst. Try having lunch with my daughter which she was a register guest and was told I could not because I did not have a room. Was offer a bowl of chips as their way of apologizing. Really bowl of chips from an over rated 5 star facility. Save your money and stay elsewhere!!!

If you want to have a good time do not come here. My mother who is a grown adult was cut off after one drink for her "safety". We are staying an elevator ride away and she was cut off at 10:22. The waitress proceeded to ghost us and completely leave us at the table with no assistance with our bill. I will never be back here and you should not either. Horrible experience.

The Tv in the bathroom is awesome! The food was great and the scenery is amazing. I enjoyed the refreshing water they gave us upon arrival. Don't forget to get your chocolate from the nice cleaning ladies. Bathroom's were clean. The valet was fast. Breakfast was so nice. Both the food was good but the room we ate in was better. Everywhere I looked was beautiful. The servers are friendly.

This luxury hotel located on the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Beach was founded in 1896. This iconic historic resort is an Italian Renaissance Revival style hotel with 534 rooms. Located on a half mile of private beach and beautifully landscaped grounds, also an on-site spa and two golf courses. They also feature ten restaurants, four pools, six hot tubs, poolside bungalows, playground, ten tennis courts, and private fitness. They are about four miles to West Palm Beach airport and less than a mile to Worth Avenue.

I have a gluten allergy and they did a pretty good job accommodating my allergy but they did leave the croutons and my salad I asked if they could get me a new one and they apologized and got me a new salad and were very nice about it.

The Breakers Hotel of Palm Beach is just an amazing place from the rooms to the grounds. There several awesome restaurants to choose from including on the grounds or just across the street. There is a steakhouse and a seafood restaurant. There are all several shops from clothes to jewelry. The views from the Hotel especially the sunsets are breathtaking. Try the News & Gourmet for a coffee or tea or a snack maybe an ice cream. There is onsite parking or valet.
Be the first to Reply5 stars for architecture and art.
An amazing establishment. 5 stars for cuisine quality. 3 for maintenance. Expect to find issues. For this price they should more rare. When you go to the gym, you expect everything to work. I won't go on. 5 for service, or even higher. Just amazing. Been 3 or 4 times, but will be looking around this year. If you have never been, go at least once.

Be the first to ReplyIt doesn't get much fancier than the Breakers.
Go for the people watching and the views. Get a drink and just stare at people. It's very fun, trust me.

Hands Down the Most Luxurious Hotel in America! I've been wanting to stay at The Breakers ever since I watched the 2001 movie "Heartbreakers" starring Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt. It's about a mother and daughter who are con artists. They venture to Palm Beach and stay at The Breakers hotel in order to find Billionaire husbands. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should! Anyway, after watching that movie when I was a kid, I dreamt of one day getting to stay at The Breakers. I booked a solo trip to Palm Beach a couple of months ago and I just wanted to enjoy the hotel and its amenities. For a whopping $1,500 a night (yes, you read that right!) you get a basic room. Fortunately, I was upgraded to a beautiful ocean view room at no extra charge. The whole entire experience was first class! From the moment they greeted me at the door, until I left the hotel, I was treated so well. The front desk staff member named Jonathan C. provided me with excellent service and made checking in a breeze. My room was so breathtakingly beautiful! It's hard to caputre in photos but the view of the ocean was stunning! The bathroom mirror even has a tv built into it! How cool! I couldn't figure out how to work the mirror tv at first, but they quickly called Raul from their maintenance team and he was awesome! Friendly man too. I love the little details they do to pamper their guests. I got a box of artisan chocolates when I arrived. For their turn-down service at night they left me more chocolates on my bed. Their toiletries are top notch and smell so good. They even have a hair drying towel you can keep. The Breakers has a private beach front with staff taking care of you while you enjoy the beach. Their pool area is massive with several different pools and hot tubs to enjoy. They have different kinds of cabanas too and water bungalows you can reserve. I loved enjoying my cocktail in a coconut on the beach! I had dinner at the HMF restaurant which I highly recommend. They had the best tasting sushi. The only downside to my visit was that I was looking forward to brunch at The Circle which is their beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately it was booked for an event. It was a real bummer since I ventured all the way to Florida to try their brunch. I loved my stay, it was everything I hoped it would be. I stayed at the iconic Plaza Hotel in New York City a few weeks ago, and I think The Breakers even tops that by a landslide! The Breakers will be hard to beat in my book!
Be the first to ReplyI've found that the hospitality industry tends to attract
I've found that the hospitality industry tends to attract wonderful people and my experience this morning with Jason S. from The Breakers' Reservation Department call center was truly exceptional. Under a challenging circumstance, whereby I had previously missed confirming a room for my boss as part of a group block and only realized it the morning of intended check-in (!), Jason carefully located the group block and secured a reservation. With my boss already driving on his way to The Breakers, you can imagine my sigh of relief. Understanding the context of my predicament, Jason also thoughtfully offered to send the confirmation email directly to me to maintain avoid raising an alarm. Jason was beyond capable, reassuring, articulate, empathetic, solutions-oriented... an absolute gem. For those looking to hold a meeting or event, I highly recommend The Breakers. Already a beautiful venue, the staff, as exemplified by Jason, are top-notch.

The breakers encapsulates everything that Palm Beach is about. It's opulent and perfected manicured. I did some light shopping at the coffee shop/gift store and enjoyed a gelato. It's a must see if you're in the palm beach area!
Be the first to ReplyI reserved my room over a month ago and they called me one
I reserved my room over a month ago and they called me one day before check-in to tell me they were moving me to another hotel that is not as nice nor does it have the same amenities, nor is it close to the venue I need to be at, because two buildings were being renovated. Why would they wait until the day before to cancel my room when they knew they were renovating the building? They quoted me a price of $491.98 and I went to their website and the same time was $352.60. I called to cancel and rebook at the cheaper price and they said they would give me the price and send me an email with confirmation. I never received an email either time. Terrible customer service on their part.

We ate at the Seafood Bar overlooking the ocean. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Our server, Stephanie, could not have been better in every way. She made our evening perfect with her charm and ability to be there for us, no matter how busy she was. If in the area, we will definitely return. Many thanks.

This is a great place but I have never stayed in one of the rooms! I've also come to meetings here as well and it's a beautifulplace to come to. I love looking at the ocean from here - it's so gorgeous! All the beautiful peopleare here ! They do have self parking and you have to ask for it!

Our next family adventure take us to The Breakers located in west palm beach we are going to many times to the the square (city place ) and we never crossed the bridge and today we decided to visit one of my wife's favorite decoration stores and we arrived at the Breakers.Incredible place has a unique style of architecture and nature full of flowers, shops, restaurants and galleries, all these details make it the perfect place to spend the day and share a date to eat or enjoy a delicious coffee in the company of friends or family.

This is an iconic hotel, and Italian Renaissance-Style of the building is beautiful. But the bar area decor is cheap and out of sync with this grand hotel. Hate seeing this trend in hotels, this hotel is not contemporary, and there is a way to get the right vibe, but I guess when the guests no longer care to look presentable, they can hang out in the bar that suits them.

It was my first time here and I decided to try it out with a friend. We found complimentary parking outside, easy peasy! We sat at the seafood bar. We decided to grab something really quick and refreshing. I ended up ordering the watermelon refresher and she had the lavender lemonade. Everything was made 100% natural. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy a mocktail to start off the new year. The views are fabulous and the service was excellent, great ambiance too!
Be the first to Replyhad Christmas dinner in The Ponce De Leon ballroom.
Our table was all the way in the back near the table where the waiters dump plates of uneaten food. Our waiter kept telling us he has been there for 13 years and when we went to give him a gratitude as a thank you (we already paid an enormous gratuity baked into the enormous price for the meal with only adequate buffet food), he help up the bill and showed his co-waiter like it was an insult. Went home with 2 cheap bottles of wine as a parting gift. Aside from the lobster tails, shrimp and caviar, the food was like an Atlantic City buffet, certainly not worth the money. Cocktails were watered down, did not taste like top shelf liquor and the dessert table which should have been extravagant was less than. Very disappointed in our Christmas dinner this year at this legendary hotel.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of my favorite hotels and hotel resorts.
The Breakers has been around a long time and they have a long and rich history. It does get disappointing sometimes when I come to the hotel for a weekend stay vacation or just to have lunch or dinner and see how the people are dressed in this fine establishment. It's like people just don't give a damn anymore the way they dress. And that's really disappointing. I always thought you take pride in how appear. But once again, I see people in ball caps, flip-flops and rock concert T-shirts walking through the grand hallways of the Breakers, talking with their outside voice as if they don't have a care in the world. Shameful the lack of manners and the lack of ability to dress properly has gone out the window.Despite having to see the eyesores of the poorly dressed and don't give a damn people, (one recent Saturday afternoon the crowds at the pool would have placed 2nd in an apparel contest loosing out to the local Holliday Inn.) this is still a magnificent place to stay and have lunch. I have been coming here for years and absolutely love it. Now, if we can just somehow teach dress codes, manners and ethics to its clientele, life will be so much better. Oh wait! Wrong year. This is the year that we must focus on each other's pronouns.

Food, service and ambiance. Love how fancy the store was and very nice.

From the person who lived in the most luxurious locations in 5 countries, travelled all over the world, I have to say the experience here was SO PATHETIC!Aside from the pomposity and arrogance of a security, the hotel has very little to offer, to justify its tiny and uncomfortable rooms and low quality average meals...
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful grounds and nice staff.
So nice to be able to self park. Classic staple in W Palm worth a staycation or a vacation ....
