Best in London
Outstanding hotel. We stayed for one night and received an upgrade to a room that was basically on a private floor as it was attached to the terrace suite which was unoccupied during our stay. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful. The food and beverage offerings are world class. I had a medical issue while here and the staff went out of their way to help and called their house doctor to come see me in the room. The only small issue was we were told our breakfast included anything so we ordered truffled scrambled eggs and ended up being charged for that. However, after I told the hotel, they not only refunded the extra charge but they also invited us back for a round of drinks. A top quality experience all around and we won’t stay anywhere else in London from now on.

Be the first to ReplySuperb people, location and pure class
An iconic hotel! I went to the Connaught with my wife to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were blown away by the whole experience. We took the Touch of Romance package in a traditional room. Overall the room was very comfortable and luxurious with fantastic bed sheets and every amenity possible, with a great view over Mayfair as well. The location is perfect as it seems 10 mins to everywhere! We used the high end pool and steam room, under the streets of Mayfair! We had a good evening in the famous Connaught Bar and finally a next level breakfast to finish off. Most of all though, the people at The Connaught were outstanding. They have service refined to an art, and are friendly - with a sense of humour as well. Special mention goes out to: Daniel on reception, who was superbly helpful, giving us a personal tour. Danny on the door, a great character who whisked our bags away with just our name, whilst we had lunch at Bacchanalia. Florin could not do enough for us at breakfast and made it very special, and finally, the lady who managed the bar at the Connaught on the 15th April in the evening (we didn't catch her name) - but she was incredibly welcoming and remembered our names many times. Overall a great night in a superb place.

What a wonderful experience, from start to finish. The hotel is elegant, not arrogant. The staff were wonderful, and the hotel will be hard to beat.
Be the first to ReplyRoom is barely a 3 star however hotel areas are lovely
Well…. What can I say - would not recommend the Connaught until after they refurbish the traditional rooms. Our bathroom shower was TINY. Bathroom is the equivalent of a 1* hotel bathroom. Caulking is so old, stains on shower walls etc. Big disappointment. When we checked in for our 5 day stay I asked front desk if a better room in our category became available we would be willing to move ( never happened) The view however from our room was great and bright. The Aman spa was wonderful. Now the room - felt like was in grandma’s home but she didn’t have any style. Perhaps our expectations were too high - but absolutely not a top 50 hotel. Ghere are NO turndown treats ie chocolate (stingy in my opinion) There are numerous other “better” hotels. Another guest and I discussed our rooms and they felt the same - if you are not in a large suite then stay elsewhere. Their 2 sister hotels claridges and Berkeley would be excellent choices. We dined in Helene darroze which was pretty good - but pales in comparison to the michelin star restaurants we dined in while in Paris. Lighting is too bright, service is a bit rushed, flatware was hastily placed each time.

A great hotel in the most beautiful heart of London. Not cheap (but you know that in advance). The success of the hotel is made by the staff: helpful, friendly and efficient. The HR manager does a good job regarding motivation!
Be the first to ReplyTruly exceptional!
5 Star, the staff is friendly and helpful, from the moment you are greeted by the doorman an elevated experience begins. A variety of wonderful bars & restaurants, some of the best London has to offer. Their beautiful rooms are complemented by great bathrooms and tubs! Gym and pool facilities are perfect for starting or unwinding at the end of a busy day.

Incredible service from arrival to departure. Lovely room with everything you could possibly need ( and more ). Fabulous restaurant and bars. Great range of unique cocktails . Beautiful pool and spa. Fantastic central location
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing Stay.
We booked to stay at The Connaught Mayfair with some friends as there anniversary treat. On arrival we were greeted with smiles and lovely conversation from the doormen. We then went to check in and advised reception that we had booked 2 rooms. We asked reception if they received our message to have gifts put in our friends room and they said this had been arranged. We asked if breakfast was included as we thought we had booked for that but were told it was extra so we added that on. Our friends arrived soon after and we were shown around the hotel which is absolutely beautiful with the decor, architecture and history. We were then shown around the spa and were asked by the gentleman showing us around if we would like to book in. I explained i have had knee surgery so this time it would not be an option for me. We were then taken in the lift to go upstairs but the lift broke down, the engineers did arrive quickly to get us out (admittedly this could of happened to anyone ). We were then take to the stairs to walk up. I managed a few steps then my knee gave way causing pain and i could only mange slow steps one at a time which then limited my walking for the rest of the trip. Following this we went to our room only to find the gifts and our friends luggage in our room. Our friends called us and said not to worry we have asked the concierge to change the bags over to which we said no you have to have this room as there were gifts in it which spoilt the surprise. Once in our correct room we were next to some sort of fan outside and my husband cannot sleep with any noise in the room. He then approached reception and was greeted by a lovely Irish gentleman who arranged to change rooms for us when we were out. The following morning we had breakfast at the hotel and during breakfast we noticed other guests were being asked if they would like more tea/coffee etc and were were not asked or offered this during our breakfast, it felt like we were being ignored. I also know they welcome pets at the hotel but to have one on the next table to you at breakfast eating of the table is not something i would expect to see. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels in London but this is not one where we would choose to stay again

I visited the Red Room for the first time. The place is beautiful and all the people really care in what they do. They have amazing wines and cocktails choices. My experience was amazing, especially for the great service by Cecilia and Fra. I will be back soon, all the team is just amazing.
Be the first to ReplyWeekend Break in Mayfair
Best hotel in the world, been visiting the Connaught for 20 years - tried many other places, nothing comes close. Its like a grand country hotel with first class service, food and accomodation. Impeccable staff, always has the buzz of a very busy hotel in the foyer, but in your room you seem like your the only one staying there. Mayfair is the Connaught, the Connaught is Mayfair.
Be the first to ReplyUnrivaled Excellence
This hotel is one that I look forward to visiting time and time again. The staff never fails to deliver an excellent experience in every aspect. The meticilous attention to detail in each department sets this Mayfair landmark apart from others. Although I typically reserve one of the amazing suites, the entire property is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to visit time and again.
Be the first to ReplyCelebrating our 25 year anniversary at The Connaught
Great Hotel! Very well located and has a nice English “feel” when you’re there. We were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary and they had every little detail prepare on our arrival. The staff is top notch, very attentive and always kind and helpful. You can see they are dedicated to treat the guests with respect and always available for anything you need. Our room was ok, we stayed one of the smaller rooms. But the bed was sooo comfortable and again, service is so good that you don’t care much about the size of the room. The Connaught Bar and the Coburn Bar are the best bars in London. Excellent service (Andrea, Jessica and Paolo) where always making us feel special. Jose at the front desk was also amazing. All the staff and the food at the JGV restaurant (breakfast) were as expected: GREAT! No doubt we’ll be back at The Connaught when we visit London, hopefully soon!

Friendliest, most elegant hotel in London. But for the loud Ferraris on the streets and the "sightseers" in the bars, it is a bastion of calm and serenity in Mayfair. French Toast at Jean Georges is perfection!

Cannaught hotel is located in the best part of london and is a great expirience. Service is outstanding and room in the new part fantastic. We have been in the hotel servera times. The restaurants are crowded
Be the first to ReplyAnother fantastic stay
We celebrated another birthday at The Connaught in January and had yet another 'adventure' as my husband calls it, as we never quite know what will await us. We were very fortunate to be extremely well looked after with some extra treats in the room and a personal welcome note, really these touches make all the difference. As usual we had a lovely cocktail in the Connaught Bar and caught up briefly with Maura whom we met a couple of years previous. The rooms are always impeccable and the service first class. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future...
Be the first to ReplyCigar room hooked me up to you :)
Hi, cigar room is everything for me, and the quality is amazing! Jean-Babtiste… I also thank him. very involved and does his job very well. we want to stay in this hotel from now on, every time we come to london.. just a minor problem, the soundproofing in the rooms. the noises from the adjacent rooms bothered us a lot at times:( but other than that everything was enjoyable for us. the staff working is very helpful and smiling.. Be the first to ReplyFantastic Spa Experience
I didn't stay at The Connaught but next time I'm in London I will definitely put it on my list! I did a lot of research looking for the best prenatal massage experience and I am so happy I chose Aman Spa at The Connaught. It was so relaxing I could have stayed there all day. The 60-minute massage followed by a facial was just what I needed. From the moment I checked in, everyone was so nice. The facilities were super clean and they had snacks / tea which was great. Can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyThe Connaught Makes London Perfect!
We stayed at the Connaught as a getaway from American Thanksgiving and our stay was perfection. The hotel itself is beautiful, just what you imagine a cozy yet luxurious London private home would be. The service is outstanding from the front desk to the bar and restaurant staff. Everyone was the perfect combination of flawless professionalism and genuine warmth. Special mention of Erica at the front desk and Clement at the bar, both absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Every detail of our preferences was noted and catered to during our stay and the surprise upgrade at the end of our stay really capped the trip. I also can’t say enough good things about the food, ambiance, staff and service at all of the restaurants. Plus the location in Mayfair is fantastic — easy walking distance to so much and close to the Tube. If you are looking for the perfect place to enjoy London’s Festive Season or really any time, The Connaught is the place!
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience
It was a top experience. First class hotel. World class! I made a trip with wife and 2 children, we had a suite and a connecting room. Everything was perfect from the gifts to the kids (thoughtful in selecting the toys) to the helpfulness and kindness of the entire staff.

We have been staying at The Connaught for over 40 years but this trip was our first as a family. We had our usual suite with an additional adjoining room to accommodate our adult children. We broke tradition and stayed in the contemporary wing, the logistics to the gym are more fitting to our adult children. We couldn't have been more pleased as we feel this wing's decor and appointment may be more appealing to today's young ensuring life and continuation to the legacy of the hotel. The physical transition between spaces was very well done and one can still use the stairs which are steeped in tradition. The Connaught's charm and understated elegance remains deeply embedded in its culture and ethics for which we are grateful, there are few places in the world which equal this and none which eclipse it.
