The deck and island gardens is a beautiful place, decorated with globe lights and cabanas, soft, wicker chairs. The ambience was like a club seems to be the vibe and thing nowadays in Miami, but for a sit down restaurant, it really was too much at intervals throughout the night, an excessively loud smoke machine would continuously shoot out from the walls. Honestly, I expect this when I'm at a club and even then I think you have to be a little bit tipsy to bear it. Difficult to find parking and then to find out that whether you park yourself or you valet it's $20, frankly unnecessary. Attention and service were great can't complain about that but the food was average, and for the prices they are charging and what you are getting it's really excessive. $19 for a fennel salad with maybe four ingredients( at least it was fresh) then, for $34 a truffle pear Gorgonzola pizza that was not very good. Heavy hand on the truffle oil and Parmesan, I tasted a little bit of the Greek salad also didn't have much flavor. The only highlight was a bite of a scallop, that I tasted from one of my friends that was pretty good and their truffle fries. A tuna tartare that was also passed around , didn't taste it, but the comments all around were that it wasn't very good. General consensus is thad almost no flavor, It's a shame because the location is really beautiful. They have great entertainment, music at times just too loud. In the end, i ordered a dessert but they were out of it. A bit of a hit and miss and a mess.
