The Lobster That Couldn't Fly
Yesterday evening my family and I went to the "Flying Lobster". We live in Manhattan but the Brooklyn commute was not terrible, we got there in less than thirty minutes. The restaurant was quiet, empty and very clean. The waiter was phenomenal, he was able to speak both English and Chinese. I order 3 dishes as well as 2 drinks. One plate of a fish, one hamburger, and a salad. One glass of wine and One glass of water. The fish was fragrant and spicy. You should order the fish because it tastes fresh. The hamburger was juicy and tender. The salad was fresh and delicious. Although the commute was long, you should go to The Flying Lobster for the delicious food and great service.
Be the first to ReplyCheck out Milt Baxter on Wednesdays
My old associate Milt Baxter tickles the ivories here on Wednesday nights, playing his signature cocktail jazz for the assembled hipsters. This is for sure a flannel-shirt, ugly-beard, gross-tattoo kind of joint, but for all that they offer some very drinkable wines and friendly service. Note: The bar and restaurant are physically separate. When we stopped in to hear Milt the other day, there were some people at the bar trying to get food from the restaurant, and the process seems a tad fraught.
