Great service.
Good food at fair prices. One of our favorite places to dine out. We drive all the way from Spanish Springs and feel like it's worth the drive.

As we live in Lakeridge, The Grill has become our Neighborhood spot for Happy Hour and Dinner! We love the food, ambiance and service - never disappointed!

The service is always great, the food delicious and the ambiance is very nice. We have been here a couple of times and always enjoy. It's our go to place for dinner.

Our server, Stephen was, as always, attentive, kind and efficient. Dinner was delicious. Try the halibut salad special. It was excellent! We always have a great experience at The Grill. To top it off, the ambiance is very nice while being casual, as well.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dining experience, from the host and servers.
Love the atmosphere and a fun bar.

Consistently great food, wonderful service, great old school ambiance, amazing cocktails and dedicated, friendly staff - it's our new favorite place and sleeve become regulars. Everyone is so wonderful, even when we ended up staying later than anticipated the service staff told us take our time while they finished cleaning up. Every single thing we have ordered has been exceptional, fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Thank you for many delightful dining experiences.
Be the first to ReplyHappy hour with friends did not disappoint.
The bar area was comfortable. Drinks and snackies were priced well. Servers were very pleasant and not intrusive. Nice atmosphere. Great choice.

The spicy mac and cheese is my favorite and $6 cocktails never disappoint.
Be the first to ReplyI've had this place on my list for a while but never really
I've had this place on my list for a while but never really come over to this side of town for dinner. I finally came to give it a try and it was better than expected! I came on a Monday night around 8pm and was seated without a reservation. The inside is nicer than I thought it would be, it is spacious and they seemed well-staffed. The complimentary bread that was brought out was delicious! It was hot, soft, and came with whipped butter. They have some solid options on their menu, it was tough for me to make a decision on what to get! Prices are decent, a little bit on the higher side but still reasonable for the quality/quantity of food you are getting. I went with the Petrale Sol, my husband got the Cioppino, and my friend got the Steak Frites. Serving sizes were generous, I couldn't believe how big my fish was! Plus it came with pasta and veggies as well. The fish was perfectly fried and flaky. I really liked the lemon caper sauce as well. My husband and friend really liked their entrees too! Our waiter was great, he checked on us often and was very nice. Nothing negative to say about this experience, everything was pretty good but nothing really stood out as being outstanding. With so many amazing restaurants in Reno, a place has to exceed expectations for me to come back instead of trying out a new place next time. I'll keep this spot in mind as a solid contender when needing a good dinner recommendation that has something for everyone!

This is such a good place with an even better patio! Bread service when you're seated and for dinner we tried the piccata with both chicken and sole fish. Both were really good and the sauce was creamy and delicious! Our server was friendly and dinner came out quick so we were happy :) Kind of a weak serving on the chicken compared to the fish for the same dish? but allllllll good

Just tried the small cut of prime rib dinner at The Grill and it was delicious! The vegetables were also well prepared, and the house Pinot Noir is reasonably priced and very drinkable. The Grill also makes a very tasty appetizer of grilled baby artichokes. The service is friendly and responsive and the ambiance is nice. It's a popular place and fun for people watching. The Grill makes for a very pleasant Saturday evening out and weekday Happy Hours.
Be the first to ReplyThe risotto here is amazing! Service was good overall.
Unfortunately one of the meals that was supposed to be wrapped to go was discarded by mistake. A little of a loud environment in the evenings when sitting inside. Overall a good experience.
Be the first to ReplyNot enough Wait staff.
It was a Friday night and the place was packed as usual. we had to wait for absolutely EVERYTHING. Drinks, slow. Appetizer, Slow. Entree, Slow. my wife's second glass of wine arrived after she was finished eating. The bill took 20 minutes. the food WAS GREAT, but not worth the wait. this place is not new. Hire enough staff or take out some tables. never again on a Friday or Saturday night.
Be the first to ReplyHad a great meal tonight at The Grill.
After a day of site seeing with visiting kids, we stopped by for a bite during HH. The waiter was informative and attentive. The food highlights were the Parmesan fries, Wedge Salad, Chef Street Tacos and the Grilled Prawns. The risotto that accompanied the Prawns was To Die For, I kept nibbling off my husband's plate. The HH cocktails were decent, we sat close to the bar and noticed the bartender had a strong pour. Everything we ordered was quite good and it came with a complimentary bread basket straight from the oven, that we could also view from our seat. We'll definitely be back.

Service is great and food even better. Fun crowd at happy hourThe special is almost always what I get and never disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyIt's alright.
Went for dinner on a weekday with some girlfriends. It's a nice space with pretty lighting, and the outdoor patio looks like it will be nice in warmer weather. Our server was great and kept our waters filled.I'm not super impressed with the food, however. I got the sole with linguine, their signature dish. It was good, but not for the price. I had to add salt and there just wasn't any flavor anywhere in the dish. The sole itself was fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The linguine was al dente but the sauce just seemed creamy with not much flavor. For the price, they offer bread only, no soup or salad. I guess it doesn't bother some folks--the place was pretty full on a week night!
Be the first to ReplyAs I told them on their website.
.. A+ for food and service. BUT the noise level after 5:30pm(week night) was almost unbearable and tables so close together that i thought they were sitting with us.Probably won't go back unless we can find a time they are not crowded.
Be the first to ReplyWent again - same great meal and service.
I have to add a RAVE for the fried mozzarella - don't be fooled - this is not your standard breaded mozzarella sticks. It's not breaded, in an amazing sauce (yes sauce!) with sun dried tomatoes, lemon, etc. This is a must-have - I'll be having it every time i come in.

The Grill has been a local standard for many years, and we've been going there forever. Nice atmosphere, great service every time. They don't add new items very often, but they do a really nice job with some of the classics. We keep coming back for the cioppino. Excellent savory tomato broth and good amount of seafood. They used to throw a couple crab legs in, but the last two visits we got the crab cracker but no crab. We'll be back again for cioppino on a cold snowy night and see if they find the crab again.

My hubby and I went to (one of our most favorite local restaurants!) The Grill at Quail Corners for a spontaneous dinner on the way home after going to a movie. We had called ahead and the hostess said they had tables available! We were pleased we could dine in without reservations! The fresh complimentary bread and whipped butter is an amazing way to start the dining experience every time. We ordered our winter favorite meal here which is their delicious Caesar salad and the fantastic Cioppino! My hubby and I split the salad which was a perfect portion. The Caesar salad was dressed perfectly, not too much and not too little. The Cioppino was also delicious and satisfying--filled with a variety of seafood in a tomatoey broth that's very well-seasoned and topped off with scrumptious slice of grilled bread. The only thing missing in the mixture, which it is supposed to have as indicated on the menu, was the crab. Apparently, it wasn't added in to either of our bowls. We let our server (and bartender) Erica know at the end of the meal so that the kitchen would be made aware for future preparations. She appreciated being informed and she was very kind and understanding about it. The restaurant got busier as the evening went on, some walk-ins and some with reservations. It's a a great place for couples and friend groups because it's a very comfortable, classy, while also being a casually elegant environment. The restaurants's overall setting and the professional service from Erica and Leah was great. We had a very enjoyable dinner at a place we've been loyal to for many years. I would highly recommend the Grill to everyone.

Great food and service every time we go to the Grill at Quail Corners! it's one of our most favorite restaurants in town.
Be the first to ReplyBEWARE: This restaurant has implemented a 3.
75% extra charge above and beyond your food & beverage bill for the use of a Debit or Credit Card!! I know of no restaurants in Reno that do this. I was told the additional charge was implemented on Jan 1, 2023, and the diner is only informed AFTER the food & beverage bill is presented by the server. I asked the server for the justification of this new surcharge and the reasoning was lame at best. The prices at The Grill At Quail Corners are not inexpensive to begin with, and I know of few people who carry around a roll of bills to avoid this charge. The Grill has now lost a regular customer!

I can literally walk to this place, so take that into account when I'm making this recommendation because I tend to be a little lazy. I don't think I've ever had bad food, or bad service at this place ... EVER, and I've been going now for about ten years or so. I always get seated super fast, and I always get the coolest person waiting on me. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's super casual, so go last minute with your parents or friends is not a problem, and nothing gets too fancy or weird there ... just good food, good portions and good service.
Be the first to ReplyOrdered the prime rib special, medium rare last night (Sat.
) It was not only difficult to cut, it was difficult to chew. What a pity! I was really looking forward to some delicious beef...
