The cutest, coziest and romantic place I have EVER come to
The cutest, coziest and romantic place I have EVER come to in Dublin after my 40+ years of coming here. Anita is so inviting and is very inviting. Such great service!!! I love this place and it is a reason to come back to Dublin!! You all know I don't give five stars often. You need to come here!!!!Also it is in a super cool part of town that everyone should venture to. On top of everything, the music is playful and upbeat and not too loud so you can enjoy conversations and feel the vibe.

Had a lovely three course meal September the 16th. The space is quite, "little" as the name implies. Two front of house staff. We had made reservations earlier and presented our Pandemic credentials. We had a lovely small table. Simple décor. Quite an interesting music selection played in the background. For starters I had the Little Kitchen Seafood Chowder and my wife had the Baked Brie, Wrapped in Parma Ham and Spring Pastry, Apple and Tomato Chutney. Hers was outstanding in its taste and texture. Mine was a light creamy chowder which was wonderful but not as wonderful as my wife's Brie. For mains I had the chef's special, an Herb Encrusted Hake with mint pea purée, spicy potatoes in tomato salsa which was done to perfection. My wife had Tiger Prawns Risotto, Chili, Garden Peas, Parmesan and Soft Herbs. While hers was good, my dish won the second round. For our desert course my wife had the Coconut and chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream, while I had the Selection of cheeses, apple and mango chutney, crackers. Both were excellent so I will call it a draw. Service was in the background, the décor was elegant, the food was excellent and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

After wandering over here late after work, we were almost disappointed as they said they were full. At the last second they said they could squeeze us in fitting 3 people in a 2 person table but we were grateful for the table! The Little Kitchen is a gem and everything from the decor, service, food, and wine was perfect. This was my favorite meal during this trip with fresh and vibrant flavors. If I lived here I would want to live next to this restaurant and have it as my neighborhood dinner spot.Prawn Risotto with Roasted red peppers, soft herbs, parmesan€9.80Pan-fried fillet of Sea Bass, Pea puree, sautéed potatoes, tomato salsa€22Half baked chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream€6.50

Be the first to ReplyLovely staff, amazing customers service.
No matter the price anything you order is worth the money and enjoyment of the delicious treats. They have the best chef in the whole of Dublin as she always makes the best presentation of the food and everything is very clean and hygienic. One of best restaurants I ever ate in, and it feels like home. These guys deserve all the tips they can get! Thanks to Mary and Steven and the rest of the staff this place is more than just a restaurant

A bit on the pricier side but given the taste, large portions, and excellent service - it was well worth it. For an appetizer, I got the pepper and shrimp risotto and it was AMAZING. It was very filling and I honestly could have just gotten that and been fine. My husband got the Cajun chowder and he was convinced his was better but he liked both dishes a lot. I got the cod and mussels for my main and everything was delicious again. This is a wonderful little spot for a romantic date night and some great seafood!

We had an AMAZING Saturday brunch here! I got the French Toast with bacon and eggs, and it was certainly the best homemade French Toast I have ever had. It took a little bit for our food to come out, but it was very worth it. I was recommended this restaurant by a family member living in Dublin, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.
