Luxurious hotel
We stayed in the Penthouse Duplex Suite, which was luxurious. The location is good, a little far from the sea, but this is also a “+” Every detail is thought out in the hotel, the staff is wonderful. You can rent a car.
Be the first to ReplyA gem in Tel Aviv
Stayed at the Norman during a recent trip to Tel Aviv and could not say nicer things about it. The staff was amazing, the food delicious, and the bar was quite happening. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and incredibly quiet - even on the front street facing side. An added benefit is that you are located in a really cute local neighborhood but close to great shopping and culture!

When I first arrived, I was put in a "Classic" room in the back of the hotel--over the very noisy hotel bar, hundreds of streaks of bird dung covering the outside of the windows, shower that leaked all over the bathroom floor and was so small it was hard to turn around. For $420/night, I expected better. The next morning, I complained & was moved to a bigger, better room in front. The new room was fabulous--bigger and quieter, ceiling fan to keep cool, much nicer bathroom. From then on out, stay was a delight. Staff were gracious, breakfasts were excellent, and common spaces are terrific. Bottom line: as long as you avoid the "classic" rooms in the back, it's a lovely place to stay.

Spent a week here recently and we could have stayed another week. Everything about this hotel was amazing. All of the staff are some of the best I have ever come across in a hotel of this calibre. Styling of the hotel is stunning. The bed and linen were so comfortable and luxurious. Food was delicious. Service from all departments was impeccable. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and some of the larger luxury brand hotels could learn from the Norman in how to do hospitality right. Keep up the great work and hopefully I can get to experience your hotel again soon.

Wonderful hotel in a residential district. The entrance into the hotel is so gardenish. The rooms are not large but have everything one needs. Bathrooms are efficient. Breakfast options are outstanding and copious. Coffee Americano was REALLY serious coffee. We had dinner in Alena...a top notch restaurant. We ordered too much the 1st nite and realized we could order one dinner plate for 2 the next nite. In addition to the food, the ambience and the service make this restaurant outstanding!

Two Words : Understated Elegance Incredible stay in an oasis in the middle of Tel Aviv, with it's Terraces, Gardens, Pool, Outdoor eating areas just beautiful . The two restaurants Alena and Dinings were a very enjoyable experience, very creative, delicious and beautifully presented dishes . Had dinner at both and breakfast as well at the outdoor courtyard The Hotel beautiful decorated in a Bauhaus style that compliments the building architecture as well as the room beautifully done . The staff very friendly and yet very professional from the Valet, The Front Desk, The Concierge, the pool staff, The Bartenders all were just GREAT !! Definitely recommending and staying again at The Norman .

A small 5 star Hotel in CENTRAL TEL AVIV… 5 minitrs walking to Rothchild Boulevard (Bauhaus architure classified as World Heritage by UNESCO)… Small, BUT NICE AND PERSONALIZED… Elder buildings renovated to Pop of the Tops in High Tech… Very warm and welcoming staff… HIGH quality of food… ALL modern requests met… What else to say? JUST GO THERE if you stay in Tel Aviv - Yafo…

Incredible staff, amazingly convenient location, beautiful rooms with a small balcony - an absolutely wonderful experience. The breakfasts are amazing, and you must have a drink in the Library. Gym is small, but the Tel Aviv boardwalk is a short walk away for workouts or scenery. A great experience

Cool hotel with stylish rooms (though small) and a great roof top. The service is generally nice, though at times shaky, which surprises given the large number of people working there. However, out overall experience was super positive and inspiring.

I was a little apprehensive by the outside appearance as it looked nothing like a hotel. My guide kept assuring me it is a boutique hotel and that worried me even more as that really connotes so many different ideas. However, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I did check in. The check in process was smooth with someone offering us coffee whilst the front desk went through some admin details speedily and fluently. The hotel was super well kept and extremely clean. My room was lovely and I really liked the space, the decor, the floor tiles and the gorgeous colours. The entire setting was soothing and the service was amazing. My requests and quirks eg mint leaves for tea, hot milk for coffee were attended to with alacrity and politeness. Everyone from the front desk to the bell boys was amazingly polite and alert. I had breakfast at the dining are the next morning and what a spread that was. The food was delish and the variety was good. The service was also top notch. Although check out was at 12 pm, I asked for a late check out and that was arranged really smoothly too. I really appreciated that. Well done, The Norman. An excellent hidden gem of a hotel with proximity to the main areas of shops and restaurants.
Be the first to ReplyHighest European standard, in best are of Tel Aviv
Excellent and enthusiastic service by enthusiastic crew. Breakfast is at level of five star hotels in Paris. Dinner also a treat if you want to take a break from the rest of Tel Aviv's incredible restaurant scene and still enjoy great mediterranean cuisine. Crudos, pasta specials like home-made pici cacio e pepe highly recommended. Rooms may have a modest footprint, but these are not the claustrophobic spaces one may experience even in some top hotels elsewhere. They are immacculale, brilliantly laid out, bright and airy with soaring ceilings. Yaron sets the tone, welcoming guests at breakfast. A polished, high level experience that continues to set the bar in Tel Aviv..
Be the first to ReplyGreat boutique hotel in a fun neighborhood in Tel Aviv
Spent Thanksgiving at The Norman. This was the first time staying there. The room was a bit small but well laid out. The bathroom was large and there was wonderful windows on all sides. The only downside is the neighborhood can be a bit loud, the windows are not 100% soundproofed. The restaurant for an arrival dinner was wonderful and the breakfast everyday was special, must try the shashouka.
Be the first to ReplyLuxury in the heart of Tel Aviv
After getting off to a rocky start (a room without a closet, nor shelves!) we were moved a fantastic room that offered absolute serenity. The most comfortable bed and lots of pace. The staff were outstanding. The pool offers a spectacular view of the city. We were looking forward to a traditional Israeli buffet breakfast, but this is not offered here. Rest assured the included breakfast was exceptional. The Library Bar offers outstanding drinks and is well worth a visit. Note this hotel is in a quiet urban setting, so if the beach is your preference, maybe another place would be a better option.
Be the first to ReplyA peaceful stay at the Norman
The Norman was a little piece of heaven. We arrived to beautiful October warmth. Our suite was beautiful. The rooftop pool was small but it wasn't busy at all. All the food at the restaurant beyond delicious. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Only minus in our garden suite, as the hotel is in an old building, the shower cabin must've been the smallest you've ever seen. You actually couldn't shower properly without flooding the bathroom floor. It was a pity as the room itself was so nice. I did give them feedabck. We stayed with family and friends travelling from various places and having breakfast, lunch, pool and a bar all under one roof, was very convenient. If you are with very small children, you might want to stay closer to the beach. But I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Be the first to ReplyShockingly bad restaurant
The Rooftop restaurant was once the place to be and food was absolutely fantastic . As times goes bye the Rooftop is under construction (whatever that means) The Food , served in the Garden but shockingly lousy in all ways. Sorry to say so.

We had an amazing experience, truly luxury hotel (the only) at the heart of Tel Aviv! The staff, the food, the maintenance .. just name it. Everything was just perfect! We are traveling internationally a lot and for sure it is one of the best hotels!
