Tasteful and classy atmosphere! I recommend coming for dinner if you want beautiful ambience! There's parking in the front and you can take pics inside the checkin and in the restaurant. The pros are def the ambience. The cons: very very noisy and overpriced. The food is beautifully plated, but tastes average. I would say the decor and ambience definitely uplifts the food and how it tastes. You have to order at once because the kitchen in small. The portion sizes for the apps are decent and 1-2 are enough for two people. If you're veg not many options unfortunately but go for the mezzo platter and endive salad.

Vibes Vibes Vibes! This place is all about great social vibes. That morroccan touch makes you feel like you can socialize here for hours!Great food and drinks.Portions are on the smaller side, but very tasty.Matter of fact, it's perfect enough to eat with some drinks without feeling too full. Definitely recommend this place!

Yes this place has a wonderful ambience , has a beautiful setting for pics. But our experience here was not great. They were really rude, the fact that they were ignoring us like we are not even there. We were literally right in the middle of the restaurant and they forgot to send someone to us. We decided our orders and was waiting for somebody to come. Well, nobody came for atleast 20 mins and they literally asked people who came after us for their orders! We waited and waited until we finally asked them how long is it going to take to send a server to our table. They apologized, we gave our orders and sighed in relief. Food came in shortly and it was delicious but this time they forgot to give my kid's food, and when we reminded them - again they apologized and we waited for her food. By this time we were tired and wanted to get off. Never coming back here, and never going to suggest this to anyone

Understated upscale dining, with an especially charming outdoor patio overlooking an enclosed courtyard. Thoughtful menu. The food was tasty. The drinks were strong. What could possibly go wrong? The duck entree (~$40) consisted of five small chunks of meat, each about two bites worth; and a couple of turnips. My wife had two appetizers as her entree, in addition to a third appetizer that we ordered. We were both so hungry after that we stopped at a gas station to pick up some eats. Message to the restaurant: For an enterprise that makes customers not hungry as part of its business plan, maybe not so wise to leave your customers hungry. And my wife doesn't eat much... My wife's review: "Pack snacks."

The Pink Cabana was fantastic! The Sands breakfast is my favorite breakfast and they prepared it perfectly. The poached eggs, the potatoes and the toast were all delicious. we will be back.
Be the first to ReplyDelightful surprise at the Sands Resort in Indian Wells.
So well-appointed (cute!) and the restaurant is absolutely fabulous. I ordered the chicken and it was so juicy--every bite. The staff is very attentive. Mushroom soup-delicious. Calamari-crispy. Both desserts - Lemon AND Lime desserts were heavenly.
Be the first to ReplyCutest place hands down in Palm Springs.
This restaurant is at the Sands Hotel. You do not need to stay there to eat or get a drink there. The cutest restaurant and ambiance, very well decorated. The whole hotel is beautiful so many photo opportunities. Great place for a girls weekend or brunch. We saw 3 bachelorettes there. Full bar and cocktail list. Also great brunch menu. I bring everyone here when we visit Indian Wells.

This place was recommended by my friend who's been to Palm Springs twice. Tucked away in Indian Wells, so not downtown is this restaurant/hotel. Right as we got dropped off from our Uber and walked to our table, I couldn't even put my phone down. I was snapping photos left and right. This was 100% my type of vibe and aesthetic. The pink walls with the greenery, the black and white entrance, the poolside with palm trees (see photos to truly envision the beauty)The outside tables were all taken so we got an inside table. We ordered-Iced coffee 4/5- nothing extraordinary. I just wish it was a bit sweeter. Naan pita with hummus and olives 500/5. This was probably the best naan pita I've ever had. It was super fluffy and had the exact amount of zaatar and seasoning. I was so impressed!Local mushroom tagliatelle 4.5/5- I'm not a mushroom person, but this was pretty good. My friend thought it was super delicious and cleaned out her plate within 5 minutes. It was buttery and flavorful so I understand why!Cabana colada 4/5Poolside mimosa 4/5We got our drinks at the table first to get the cute glassware and then a couple sips later migrated to the pool where the weather was perfection. Sunny breezy and with a cocktail in my head, describe a better day! Unfortunately we sat down and within 2 minutes had to go to the airport. I would definitely come here again for the vibes! Note- there's a hefty cancellation fee! But who would wanna cancel dining here anyways!

Intimidating. My boyfriend and I left. We didn't expect it to be so Fancy. I felt out of place. We did end up leaving, it wasn't our vibe. But maybe some other time for a special Occasion. The staff was so nice, we didn't have a reservation but they did offer us a seat. If you're looking for a fancy place to eat out, I believe you would enjoy.

~ what I got ~ green chile chicken tacos seared yellowfin tuna tartine poolside mimosa pink lemonade ambiance - this restaurant is literally the cutest! so pink and so many plants! such a vibe to hang out with the girls! service - their hours on google was a bit weird, they close at 10 and reopen at 11 am! i asked them about it and they said it was because their kitchen was small so that hour gives them time to change out and prep! But as long as your order is in before 10, you are still able to sit and enjoy! food - the food was just okay and on the pricier side, definitely paying for the vibes! lols drinks - pink lemonade is the way to go! so yummy
Be the first to ReplyThe hostess at the front with dark hair on Friday night
The hostess at the front with dark hair on Friday night should not be employed there. I called and asked if we could come in for dinner and she said they were "fully committed." I then asked if we could walk in and find a place at the bar. She said the bar was "fully committed" also. I said I didn't know you took reservations at the bar and she said they didn't. What? We took our chance and went in and she said the bar was going to be full for the night. Again, what? We walked up and waited about 30 seconds before a couple left and we got seats. 2 more parties left in the next 20 minutes and there were more seats available and no one else was even waiting. Then she proceeded to stare us down every time she walked up to the bar and gave us a creepy vibe. We won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyPink Cabana is an aesthetic GEM.
From the moment you enter the place, you'll notice how well decorated the place is. The restaurant is on the left side after you pass the double doors. I would highly suggest booking reservations if you are planning a trip. My party and I sat at the bar while waiting for a table to open up. The drinks at this bar are immaculate. If you're a fan of the espresso martini, I suggest trying the Turkish coffee with amaretto. My party and I got so many drinks and each one was great and customized to the Pink Cabana vibes.Food wise, I think they do a great job in delivering on what you expect. I had their sands breakfast, and portions were just right. Their bacon is so crispy and tasty. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend The Pink Cabana with it's outstanding service, delicious food and beautiful decor and ambiance! We arrived right on time for our 8pm reservation only to find out WE made a mistake and booked it for a week later. Our sweet hostess assessed the situation and told us she would get us a table in about 10 min! This was amazing considering how full the place was and how many people were lined up behind us waiting to check in but 10 min later we were at our table. I'm so glad we got in because the food was amazing! To begin, I want to say that ย the great selection of unique cocktails AND "zero-proof" drinks offered was a fun surprise. I loved this because some of us had already had a drink earlier and we had our teenage son who always orders a soda and watches his older siblings order interesting cocktails. I don't know why more restaurants don't offer mock tails like this.We started our meal with the oysters which were so fresh and delicious! We also had the pickled veggies, hummus, and naan. The naan was a like small loaf which we were not expecting and I do think I prefer the traditional flat bread. For our entrees we had the salmon, hangar steak and the pappardelle. All were so delicious but I think we all agreed the pappardelle was the hit of the night! Our only complaint was we ordered a side of broccolini but received romanesco. Maybe it was a seasonal change missed on the menu or maybe they ran out of the other? In any case, it was not hot and a little bland. But our fantastic server, Eduardo immediately told us he would remove it from the bill--no questions asked! The GM came over later and apologized as well. Thanks for a great evening Pink Cabana! Whenever we're in the desert, we'll be sure to stop in.
Be the first to ReplyWent as a walk in for drinks and small plates.
If you want to eat make sure you get a reservation in advance because they are not likely to sit walk ups. We were able to sit by the fire place but the chairs are camping deep foldable chairs. The hotel and pool are gorgeous and the inside of the restaurant is extremely unique. Would recommend checking It out just for the looks! We got the desert rose mojito, pink lemonade and hot to trot. I wanted to love the first two especially after the waiter recommended them, but they had no flavor and were extremely bland and watery. The presentation was great on all three and hot to trot was good. Got the FRITTO MISTO and HANDCUT MAAKOUDA which were both good! The calamari wasn't too deeply fried which we liked and had artichokes and olives in with It. The potato croquettes were our favorite and came with 5 that were perfectly partied with a truffle sauce.

Ok food. Not great service. Overall, not a bad option off the main strip in Palm Springs but one visit is probably enough for me.
Be the first to ReplyWe were really looking forward to checking out the hotel
We were really looking forward to checking out the hotel and enjoying a meal here. The cocktails were great, the bartender was an absolute artist. We had reservations for 6pm. Arrived about 5:00pm to enjoy an app with a cocktail, the restaurant opened at 5:30pm. We were starving but knew we could wait. My hubby advised the host that we knew we were early but open to being sat early if time permitted. We enjoyed ourselves by exploring the hotel, but time kept passing by and when they opened for dinner the restaurant looked almost full and we only saw like 2 tables left. At 6:20pm my husband went back up to see if they forgot about us and suddenly a table was ready.I ordered the salmon and him a steak. Overall, it was OK nothing special. The steak was probably brought out too early with no time to rest because his entire plate was bloody minutes after they set it down and as he cut into it. His fries a little too salty and my salmon under cooked. It seemed the restaurant wasn't in a groove, and everything seemed rushed. We all have bad days so maybe we'll come back and try something else. Just not anytime soon.

After dining here twice -- once for brunch and once for dinner -- I'm convinced: The Pink Cabana is a gem. Pricey, yes (it's at a hotel, after all), but the food, service, and ambiance together create a wonderful dining experience. Just walking in is impressive. Through the spa lobby, past the pool area, and into the restaurant with its gorgeous decor, it all feels very chic, with the perfect blend of vintage and modern. The service is on point, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We felt neither rushed nor ignored at any point. The food, though, is what stands out most, as it should. You won't find their Mediterranean offerings at many other places around here, and I've enjoyed everything we've tried, like Mezze plates with labneh and hummus with some of the best naan (more like pillowy pita) I've had, perfect Turkish coffee, Shakshuka, and the Frito Misto. Reservations can be hard to get but there seem to usually be seats at the (swanky) bar.
Be the first to ReplyThere was a new chef here when we arrived.
The ambiance and beauty of this place was stunning. ย The food however, was not. ย The charcuterie board was decent but entrees were not great. ย I had a tagine and my friend had the roast chicken. ย We sent them both back. ย They were kind enough to offer us something else but we declined and went elsewhere for food. ย I hope they have figured out the menu because this place is super cute.

Awesome atmosphere and great food. Friendly service with an old school charm. We had a great time here.

Great fun atmosphere, good food. Valet service. Food preparation is different than many places I've been before the fish was a cooked perfectly. I had the pescatarian tangine.

Called 3 weeks prior to make a reservation for a group of 10 and was told to email it over. I emailed it and it said to wait 2-3 business days. 4 days later I didn't get an email so I called again but the line was busy. I was redirected to the hotel concierge who said they could take down my name and phone number and call me back. Another week later, nobody ever called me back and the email still had not been returned. So frustrating when you're trying to make plans.
Be the first to ReplyIt's an oasis, literally and figuratively, in the desert.
ย Think relaxed brasserie cafe meets chic pool view resort garden. Probably the best quiche I've ever tasted, and the hummus and other dips are better than any, bar none. We relocated from SF a year ago and I stayed at the pink sands for multiple house hunting trips, during covid the hours and menu were quite limited but still wonderful. My French-Moroccan friend liked our lunch so much she went back with her chef husband for dinner. Great people watching, it's kind of an LA get away place, so take that as you wish. The staff is sweet but service is Very, very, very SLOW. Every time, S L O W. But if you have the time it's worth it, order a bottle of wine right away so you aren't staring longingly at the table across from you who knew the drill!

All the pink Palm Desert vibes! Be sure to make a reservation though! After initially being told they were fully committed we ended up being allowed in and there was plenty of seats- bar seats, outside tables, indoor tables. Lesson- be nice to the host! The food was hit and miss. Shrimp pasta was excellent, but the chicken was dry, the fritto misto was calamari, olives and artichokes and the perfect appetizer when you are hungry and need something pronto! The decor at the Pink Cabana is what really sells this place, it's just beautiful, charming, cool and sexy!
Be the first to ReplyThe photos is what sold me on the restaurant.
I give the ambiance 5 stars. However, the food and service get 1 star. Our server seemed generally annoyed to be working. We wanted to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer before ordering dinner. He insisted we must order everything on "one ticket." My husband's sea bass was mediocre and my mushroom and shrimp pasta were terrible! There was very little sauce and the shrimp tasted like they had been boiled separately and thrown on top. The oysters and Pilsner were the highlight. My husband and I agreed this was the worst $200 dinner we've ever had.
