The price has gone up since winning multiple awards over the last 10+ years, and then there was this Biden-flation. The kitchen is always accommodating, and the food is consistently good. 5*.
No better restaurant in SD.
Gorgeous ambience in the Rancho Valencia resort, impeccable food (I especially love the miso sea bass). Attentive service too.
It's fabulous! The food, music and drinks and service.
The little potato appetizers with cavier and crème fraîche are to die for. We LOVE the Pony Room! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. We have never had a bad meal or service there. Definitely recommend!
The food was delicious! However, our experience was subpar.
We live in the neighborhood adjacent to the resort and have been dining here for 20 years. We made dinner reservations a week ago for our anniversary to dine in the restaurant. So, when we arrived we were not happy when we were told the restaurant wa
Great ambience.
Good service. Bland food, late food, cold food. We live in the area so thought might as well give this place a shot. Won't be going back.

Chris B is the BEST !
My first time to Rancho Valencia was unforgettable! Thank you so much to Chris B. for such an amazing experience. We all felt so special ! Such a great way to spend the morning.
Underwhelming! Was expecting so much more.
Service was very spotty and food was standard brunch fare and not done very well. Nice touches and staff but definitely far from the elevated experience I expected. Attention to detail was just missing. Much better brunches to be had out there! Ambi
Amazing service and great food.
The ambiance is so romantic. Dark room and clean bathrooms. Great wine list and seasonal menus.
Pony room needs real Horses.
Been there multiple times, today will be last time. Food is ok - we go for breakfast but service horrible. This is the 2nd time we went in, ordered two plates for breakfast and waited over 30 min to get food. Today we walked out, food still not there

I visited last night and they had great live music.
Our reservation was for 530 pm and the place was pretty empty, but by the time I left at 830 PM, it was completely full. I ordered the fried chicken which was great. It came with a biscuit which was even better. I also enjoyed the crap cake. The cook
Fantastic food in a bucolic setting.
I had the Seared Ahi Tuna salad, which was delicious; my friend had Shepherd's Pie, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. Love this place and will keep coming back.

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here.
It was cold so they seated us inside the main dining room near a nice fireplace. This place is elegant, classy, but not too over the top. We had Scott as our server and between him and his support staff, the service was superior/AWESOME. The food

Very attentive service, menu somewhat limited in offerings.
My wife really enjoyed her meal. I was less impressed with mine, which was the chicken enchiladas. The white meat was very dry and I would have had a better Mexican meal at a burrito joint. Still, it's a nice place to try once. Just don't order t

We had spent a day at the spa and ended with dinner here.
