Very disappointed.
I do not recommend coming here. Service was subpar. Absolute SCAM. For context: Me and 5 other guests (total of 6 people) came in Saturday evening for dinner. We were seated and the table was setup for 4 people. Only 4 plates, 4 sets of utensils, 4 napkins. We weren't provided more utensils until halfway through our meal. What I was really shocked about was when we got the bill. I knew that this place was quite expensive and I thought that the service would reflect a $$$$ experience but I was mistaken. Gratuity of 20% was already added to our bill when the Prime Rib's website clearly states that 18% gratuity will be added for parties 7 or more. Again keep in mind that we had 6 people. Absolute scam. See attached images.
Be the first to ReplyHad the Sea Bass came out raw.
I eat around the outside of the fish and asked if they could cook the fish for a couple minutes just get rid of the pink center. It came out black 15 minutes later. I mentioned it to the bartender he said go talk to the manager. $119 for entree side and 2 scotches before tip and I have to go search out the manager to show her my dinner sucked. Never again!
Be the first to ReplyIt was fast dinner for me! But as always good quality food.
Nice ambiance, fast and nice service! Only thing is my New York was a bit cold! It was ok! But the thing is, my expectation is always "perfect" for all details... Creamed Corn was very delicious! I always like potatoes thing with cheese! I forgot to take a photo for Prime Wedge Salad! It was yummy! Very good alternative for date!

This is a great spot to catch the game at the bar if the sports bar is full. The food was amazing of course.

Excellent food but very slow service (and the restaurant wasn't even busy on a Monday night) and extremely loud music in the bar area, Meanwhile, check out the M-F "Bar Bites, such as mini crab cakes, deep-friend lobster tail chunks and mini-prime rib sliders. The salads here are always good, too. Pricey, but a good "special occasion" place.

We had dinner last night at The Prime Rib in the Live Casino in Hanover, MD. Just as before, everything was excellent from the food, wine and especially the service. Anthony and Jason are the perfect duo and never left us needing anything! They are so professional, kind and funny! We will be requesting them each trip to the casino.

Tucked inside of Live! Casino & Hotel, the Prime Rib specializes in grilling up delicious steaks. Our party enjoyed the filet, rib-eye, surf n' turf special and the Chilean sea bass..... along with an assortment of salads and bread. Everything was delicious. The steaks were charred on the outside and cooked to the perfect temperature on the inside. It was a tad on the pricy side, but hey!.....everything when at a casino is on the pricey side. lol. The atmosphere and vibe was chill....somewhat on the casual-dress side but still fun. The service was on point and prompt! No issues in that areas for sure. In all, very enjoyable experience and a great time had. I can hear for a bday occasion and will certainly come back for another special occasion or the dining experience!

The food did not disappoint! Had the ribeye, the spinach, the potatoes, and some of the tastiest bacon wrapped scallops, but the must have was the crème brûlée sooo very good. The wine list is damn good. The service was attentive and very pleasant. We had a business dinner there but was very nice for family or a date. The different sections and spaces made you feel like you had the place to yourself. Save room for desert if you can!

Disclaimer, I've never been to the OG location in Baltimore, but I dined at the casino location with a Baltimore native who has, and she raved about it. Our server and each of the staff we encountered were great. But there were some aspects of the food experience that was lackluster. For starters, the bread in the breadbasket that arrives before dinner was down right horrible. The rolls were dry and hard as if they had been sitting under a heating lamp. The prime rib, mashed potatoes, and sautéed spinach were stellar!! So how do you mess up a baked potato? It was scrawny and not hot (nothing like the original location). The buzz kill for me was the white chocolate key lime "pie" that is really a torte. I ordered it without even looking at the menu. Assuming it would be the same classic key like pie as the Baltimore location. but I so wrong. I don't know what sort of science experiment that was, but the texture was gritty, the crust was dry as the desert, and the flavor combo was off putting. Stick to the OG key like pie, please!

Anthony Gomes is first rate. We enjoyed a very relaxing late supper and look forward to our next visit.

Came here for the first time for dinner with hubby to celebrate a special occasion. We ordered their French onion soup, full cut prime rib, Five truffle mac n cheese, broccolini, espresso martini and sparkling raspberry drink, and; balance came out to approximately $210 (not including tip). What's Hot - Menu. There's something for everyone- meats, veggies and even vegans. - Quality. Delicious! My husband and I had absolutely no complaints with their food, whatsoever. We ordered our prime rib cooked medium, which was cooked to perfection. Their Five truffle mac and cheese definitely has a different edge to it. Their au poivre sauce has a good amount of pepper flavor, which adds a wonderful flavor to whatever you're dipping. Their horseradish sauce and au jus, which come with their prime rib, is lacking in flavor, though. - Service. Excellent. We were never rushed, especially when we asked for more time to look over the menu. Timing of everything was excellent. After we paid, one of their staffers asked us if we would like more water, which was great. For me, a sign of good service is when customers aren't completely neglected after paying and aren't rushed out. - Location. Not too difficult to find, especially given that it's inside a casino. It's on the outside layer of the first floor of the casino and there are signs pointing you in the direction. I asked for help and directions when we first entered the casino, simply because casinos are designed to be confusing and keep people inside. The casino staffer was polite and helpful in pointing us in the right direction. - Parking. As this is a casino hotel, there is a large parking lot available. What's Not - Prices. Their full cut prime rib is $89, which is better value than ordering 2 regular size prime ribs. However, when asked if we wanted any additional sauces, we asked for the au poivre sauce, which was an additional $4! It's absolutely delicious, but that there is an additional expense is not appreciated. As previously explained, my husband and I were celebrating a special occasion and we knew this restaurant charges more than what we normally pay for when dining out. As such, we anticipated splurging, but the extent of the charges can be high. My point- be aware and be prepared when coming here. - Layout. It's a beautiful and spacious interior. The tables aren't tightly cramped against each other, which is also nice. However, there is no booth-like seating, which my husband and I prefer, because it allows us to sit next to each other, which also helps when it comes to sharing food, which is what is done here. Final Answer Would be willing to come back, but only for special occasions. At their prices, hubby and I agreed this is not a regular dining out destination.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday during NFL Championship weekend. It didn't appear to be super busy. We had a 9pm reservation and arrived an hour early. We decided to sit at the bar as seats opened up. The area was immediately cleaned; however half of our party were acknowledged and served quickly. I waited another 5 minutes or so to order and our other friend had to wait 10 additional minutes. I had a dark and stormy. Now there are a few things about this due to Caribbean influence: I don't want it served in a mule cup and if you're serving Goslings rum you should also have Goslings ginger beer. Nonetheless it was a decent drink (could have used more rum or less ginger beer). We managed to get called for an early seating. When we were taken to the table we asked for another that could accommodate and additional person as we were expecting another person. We waited at the bar about 5 minutes and then taken to a table. We were immediately offered water and greeted by our server. He ran through the specials with enthusiasm and was quite personable. I ordered the scallop and grits special and split a salad. The salad was plated separately for each person, which was a surprise. The scallops were pretty good but the grits were delicious! I wish there was more in terms of grits. It was a dollop of grit topped with a scallop (3 in total). Additionally, it was lukewarm. I expected it to by hot, which would have made it 10x better. All in all, the experience was ok but for a venue such as this, I expected excellence.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice place for dinner, but be ready to spend some
Very nice place for dinner, but be ready to spend some serious coinage! It's pretty crowded on a Saturday night and didn't have reservations. Fortunately we found a spot in the bar area, which has table top and bar seats. They serve the full menu which is great. If you sit at the bar, avoid sitting near the bar sink... it gets noisy with dishes being dumped in the sink and their is a lot of glasses/dishes being dropped and shattered = a bit noisy. The service is pretty good but the bartenders are pretty busy. The other cool thing about the bar area is that they have live music at around 7 PM. We ordered the signature prime rib (medium) which was really good! It's about $65 but you got to try the namesake of the restaurant. There are other dishes that are not as pricey and well worth it, such as the lobster risotto ($25). Every dish we ordered was great. This is definitely a very nice place to take a date.
