True Food Kitchen - The Forum Shops at Caesars Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Really bad service, aside from the host.
...we were basically ignored from start to finish. Food took a really long time to receive, we ordered 2 sandwiches....Roast Beef and the Yam and Cheese. The Yan was so tiny in comparison, Although was good. We also ordered the Thai noodle bowl adding the $8.50 Shrimp to the bowl. Totally overcooked shrimp, it was not just chewy but almost petrified! Plus the noodles were mush along with the rest of the veggies. Looked disgusting and did not taste good at all. Definitely not the caliber of food that I have had in California and Kansas City. Very disappointing for how much we paid! Will be hard to go back and trust getting healthy tasty unique food that I've had in the past! Boooooooo
Aspen
Thank you, Aspen, for your personable customer service. It was pleasant speaking with you. You've done a great job turning the Summerlin location, which used to be a dark atmosphere, around. Today's visit was better than the past visits. We wished, however, that our Waitress, Jaleesa, was more pleasant (half star taken). The Ancient Grain bowl was refreshing, and the Thai Peanut Noodle bowl was awesome. Meat not needed in either dish. Both were hearty.

Hailie was the best bartender I've experienced while visiting Las Vegas! She was so attentive and very very kind! Her bartending skills are incredible and every drink I had was delicious! Definitely coming back to True Food as long as she's my bartender!

Basically all of the stars from the extraordinary food and genuine care. Everything else was annoying and ridiculous. First, the food is stupidly good. My wife and I are major foodies and don't care about health or whatever. Flavor is priority #1-10,012. 10,013 we might start discussing health. Although very easy to please, we're rarely truly impressed. And my parents could eat straight cardboard or Michelin star cuisine and not tell the difference. For the deliciousness and quality of food to impress all of us really says something. Now, the management and organization requires an incomprehensible amount of work. I've actually never been so disappointed in such a setting before. We made a reservation for 8 pax and were on the dot. Place wasn't busy. I was surprised they said they needed to get the table ready since we're right on time. Very much more surprised it took 20 minutes. Shouldn't even take that long normally, nevertheless having a reservation. Then 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us, 10 more minutes before actually doing anything. The server was good I think, just suffering from being understaffed. She was moving super fast and good with communication so I didn't mind much and it certainly isn't her fault. Then another 12 minutes to receive drinks. So ~45 minutes after our reservation time before we were sat and had any drinks down. Even water. Then another 10-20 minutes to order food. Then we order and it took at least 30-40 minutes for the first dishes to come out. The 2 kids were asleep, kinda wish I was. They just brought 2 of our 6 meals, then another 5-10 minutes later. We waited another 5 minutes, then decided to use the bathroom magic trick where when someone goes to the bathroom the food comes out. That didn't work. Then we waited 5 minutes more and try to see if it'd work if I went to the bathroom, still not the rest of the dishes. I thought they were messing with us, like we're on a prank show. Over 20 minutes between the first dish was dropped and the last person got their food, while everyone is being polite and waiting. The dinner took well over 2 hours, for a single course. We had to entirely rearrange our plans for the night. It was honestly unbelievable. It was people's birthdays and we wanted to get dessert for them but didn't want to die from old age there. We didn't complain, but they were aware of the complete insanity they subjected us to and gave us a large discount. So I give them credit there, and the server was trying hard and the food was insanely awesome. Theres a lot of good here, you can feel the love in many areas, but there's a lot that is entirely inexcusable.

Great place to go if you want fresh food! We were greeted at the host stand by Jovan who was very friendly and had great energy, especially coming in so close to closing and the staff seemed to have a long day from the Mother's Day rush. Our server Valerie was very informative and nice, she did a great job!

I'm normally pretty patient and lenient as far as wait times go, but the time between ordering and the food to arrive was ridiculous. Waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and it wasn't really that busy.

A group of us ate at the restaurant for a recent celebration, and we left extremely disappointed. Our server was great and did all she could to make it a great experience, but she simply couldn't overcome bad food and worse bar. As an example, the steak I had looked like it had been cooked in a microwave. And it seems like the bar has a strange obsession with mint.
I went with a friend.
The place is very bright, upbeat, and open. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive. I ordered the grilled grass fed steak and my friend ordered the seared tuna tataki. My friend loved his entree but mine was a little overcooked. I feel bad not giving them 5 starts because the whole experience was absolutely phenomenal but the temperature of the steak matters. Definitely will be back

stopped in for a quick bite the best decision I made all day was phenomenal. Service was very fast highly recommend 10 out of 10 for the bartender Michael E the whole staff was great too. They treat you like family. That's all I need to say I'll see you there.
Wow! Food was so delicious.
And props to my server Amanda for getting my complicated order done right. Will definitely Be back to see her!

As a long time vegan, it's sometimes tough finding good, local options. I found True Food Kitchen through a recommendation and I was very happy I did! Not only was the environment laid back and not bustling like some tourist places can be, but the food was amazing! Our server, Amanda, greeted us with a smile and had great suggestions. I had the charred cauliflower to start and the vegan double cheeseburger (they make the patties in house and they don't crumbled!) and a few different cocktails. Amanda made amazing suggestions and was so friendly. She also gave us some local recommendations for places to go after. All and all, our experience was 10/10! I'll definitely be back soon! Thanks Amanda and True Food Kitchen!
Good food and better service.
Make sure to ask for Amanda as your server next time you go.

Service was super slow but the food was great! We enjoyed the food a lot and would definitely eat here again. The food took forever though (and they weren't that crowded) so that would be the one thing.

Safe ~ Gluten Free meals If you need healthy reasonably priced food in Vegas please trust me !!! This is your spot! I was rescued tonight by a safe place to eat. I had cross contamination due to travel and so sick. Migraine and other issues. I slept and woke up dehydrated and hungry. I researched this restaurant and I'm so happy I did. I am eating every meal here While in Vegas. The Las Vegas location @ Caesars Forum was amazing. The waitress 4/24/24 7pm really liked her job and was training a young man. She took care to reassure me it was safe. She said it was the cleanest well organized kitchen she has ever worked in. It's an open design so you can see and it was. There is great variety in gluten free, vegan, and healthy food options, juices, and deserts. I had a squash casserole with tomato basil sauce with cheese +added chicken and a side salad. It was so good. My husband was happy to with healthy meal too. He is Diabetic and it was a perfect fit. I wanted dessert so bad but taking it slow with my tummy . The chef brought my meal out and assured me it Was GF. Such a nice touch. The waitress sent me home with a treat. It was not just a great experience it was a game changer for my trip. Seriously I hope everyone supports them. Makes me feel better about traveling with dietary issues and allergies. Bless you for your service and kindness. I wish I had this near me at home. I'm so glad this exists. Lori F.
This place had tons of gluten-free options.
Amazing choice for our first night in Vegas. Loved it!
Showed up after walking to miles to get here.
Restaurant was 1/2 full and was told unless we had a reservation we couldn't get a table. Only 3 people at the bar so we decided to sneak in to the bar. Was instantly greeted by an awesome bartender. She was on the spot and pleasant to talk to even though she was slammed with drink orders. We had the peanut noodles and the ban mi wrap. Both great, just a little cold or might have given a 5. We could see in the kitchen f pm out sears and it looked like a lot of the food was sitting for a while before being served. The pit boss was on it, barking orders and helping out the staff. Fun to watch - dinner and a show. I would go back. Would sit at the bar again. Great for vegans and veg heads.

Service is absolute horseshit!!!! Overrated! O creativity with the menu. O creativity with cocktails If you are walking by this place, Keep going!!!
This place has a lot of potential.
We were immediately sat but I had to ask a bus-person for some water after 15 minutes because we were super thirsty. My friend and I each ordered the peanut noodle bowl, hers with salmon and mine with shrimp. Both the salmon and shrimp were super over cooked. The food was good once it finally came!
A Must To Visit, Especially For Those With Food Allergies.
This restaurant was absolutely brilliant. We went as a group of four for birthday celebrations. Our group included two vegetarians and one person with severe food and drink allergies. Our server, Valerie, went above and beyond with her dedication and commitment in dealing with us. We even had the manger come out with the food to reassure our allergy member that everything had been adhered to. The food was absolutely delicious, extremely flavoursome and filling! Very satisfying and great value for money and worth every penny! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean! We couldnāt praise the place enough!
Very delightful experience!
Me and my partner found the experience at True Food Kitchen amazing from beginning to end. We were first lost trying to find the restaurant in the mall and called there to ask for directions and parking several times and was met with such a pleasant and kind young lady on the other end of the phone. She helped us navigate to the restaurant and didn't seem bothered at all by my calls. And during our delicious dinner, we experienced an attentive and professional waitress named Natasha. She was fantastic, too! So we had to inform the manager, Chris, how pleased we were with our experience, and he was very glad to hear good news about his staff. He even invited us back again the next day. We were planning to try out another restaurant during our visit but decided to go back to True Food Kitchen. And the next day, we had another wonderful experience. Chris was so welcoming and professional. We were sad to find out that our city doesn't have a True Food Kitchen because that would be our spot if we could experience the same treatment. I would highly recommend this place in Vegas to anyone looking for healthy, delicious meal options and a nice, welcoming environment.
Inconsistent
Different experience than previous visits. The food was good but the service appeared to be inconsistent. Ample servers but they all seemed "new". The wait at the table for anyone to even come say hello was 10 minutes. Our server asked another server (James) to take our table. We watched food being brought out to wrong tables and then taken to the appropriate tables several times during our visit. We were certainly hoping for a better experience. The poke was good, more grains than poke, however. The Hawaiian Fried Rice was quality.
A (healthy) gem in the middle of sin city
An amazing breakfast that exceeded expectations. We shared a farmers scramble (who need scrambled eggs and sprouts could taste so good!), buckwheat pancakes and had a bright eyes juice (incredible). We had called in earlier in the week and had a quick snack (the herb humus) and only wished we had had time to go back for dinner. Never mind, thereās always a next time. Nice to find some good healthy food in Vegas. Good service from lovely staff.
Great for lunch and dinner
True Food is a great alternative to the portion-busting steakhouses and red-sauce Italian restaurants. I had lunch at the True Food location in the Forum Shops and it was very relaxing and fulfilling. I had the Sonoran Bowl with chicken, which was more than filling - especially after all that walking along the Strip and even in the Forum Shops! You can sit "outside", meaning in the area looking out over the spiral elevators and people-watch. Service was attentive and subtle, so they don't hover over you. Even though it wasn't crowded, I'd still recommend making a reservation just to make sure.
Tru Food Kitchen
Loved this venue. Great, delicious, healthy food. We were there for brunch/breakfast style meal. Only wish I had known about this restaurant before. Service was excellent....kind and considerate. Affordable. I ordered a taco breakfast and my friend ordered a full regular breakfast and we divided an order of quinoa pancakes. ... to die for - so yummy.

Ask a Question |
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
