😒 3/5 - I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it didn't wow me. Reservations are really hard to get. It's a small (but very cute) place, but all the tables are super close together. We started with the house made stracciatella and focaccia, which was definitely the best part of the whole meal. We also tried the mushroom arancini and cauliflower. The cauliflower comes in a cheese wiz sauce, which was too overpowering and dense. I would have preferred the cauliflower as is, as it was perfectly cooked. The appetizers were better than any of the pastas we had, which is not a great sign when your restaurant is a pasta and wine bar. We got the cacio e peperoncini, gnudi, and squid ink pasta & calamari. We unfortunately thought the squid ink pasta was not edible and didn't touch it. The other two were awesome though! Perfectly seasoned and not too heavy. I don't think you can call this place a wine bar given the liquor license they have. I typically expect wine bars to have wines from multiple wineries, but it looks like this place had a partnership with one PA winery. I do think this is worth coming to, but don't think it's worth the hype it's been getting.
