**note: Guernsey Kitchen is actually closed; head next door
**note: Guernsey Kitchen is actually closed; head next door to McKenna's, which was and is attached to GK. TL;DR:We were headed to Guernsey Kitchen, but it is closed now. We noticed a sign saying that the deli next door still had salads and sandwiches, etc... so we decided that we'd try that instead. Turns out, GK was attached to a deli and shop (McKenna's!). You can still eat in the space that was Guernsey in a few booths. The space is now a candy shop, too. We had two make your own salads and a delicious Whoopie pie plus some chopped beef dip with bagel chips. Delicious! The ladies were super nice and helpful! We really liked the tastes of wine, too! They had a nice selection of local and widespread wines. They had yummy bulk type snacks and a full deli of goodies, dips, meats, cheeses, crackers, pretzels, etc... Worth a stop and not too far from 77 or 70 depending on where you're traveling from or to. Enjoy!

Such a delicious treat while I was in Cambridge for work! Found this gem on yelp and was so happy I came in. The left side is the market and the right is the restaurant. They have a pretty large menu with make your own salad and sandwich options. I was going to go for a salad, but the gal behind the counter was raving about the make your own sandwich so I changed my mind. I had a wrap with grilled chicken and bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, dill pickle, black olive and a combo of torpedo sauce and ranch (her suggestion). The torpedo sauce was delicious!! The wrap itself was so good- it left me craving another. Also, for 6.50 this is a great deal! I'll be back when I'm in Cambridge again!
Be the first to ReplyWe stopped in from out of town around 1 p.
m. on a recent Sunday. There were about 25-30 customers and only ONE kitchen employee in addition to the young lady taking orders. It took almost an hour for us to get our food, during which time four other customers angrily walked out, two without even waiting for their money back. We felt sorry for the young lady, who clearly was flustered.Food was average and relatively expensive.

It's surprising to see veg-options on such a small town off the highway. There was none of that when I still lived there. Took my in-laws to lunch and tried their Earth Salad: I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy it and the portion sizes we're about on par with what I expected. There wasn't much there for non-meat eaters aside from veggies upon veggies, some hummus, fries, and that's about it. It's about what you'd anticipate for a small eatery out here, but it's a good option that can service different types of foodies. I wish they kept their veggie burger, though, I'd want to see how it'd compare. Overall, I may go back!

They got my family's order wrong, they didn't bring silverware or everyone's water. After I specifically asked that the dressing to my salad have NO milk because I am highly allergic, they brought a milk based dressing. Would never come here again.

This is a great place! We were traveling through on our way home via 77N, and stopped for lunch. Nice salad, really good sub, and delicious homemade soups--we had tomato bisque (wonderful!) and pork stew that was like pork roast dinner in a bowl! There is a coffee bar in the restaurant with great coffee, and there is a little market attached. Definitely worth a very short detour off the highway! Nice vibe, very clean, 1940's music adds to the atmosphere. If I lived nearby I'd be a regular, and I'd take family and friends there for sure!

What a great deli / market. Had a freshly made Reuben sandwich with fries on the side. Hot crispy and seasoned just right. So very good. Hubby had a chicken ranch wrap which he really enjoyed. The attached market has a deli and sells hot sauces, spices, candy, teas, coffees. You get the idea.
Be the first to ReplyWow, fantastic sandwiches.
I had the bruschetta melt and the chicken was perfect, bread was perfect amd pesto was perfect..and I seldom like pesto. Well worth a few extra minutes to get off the highway for! You can even get carryout @

A great little spot about 5 minutes off the interstate to grab a deli sandwich. Took a little long to get our food but it was filling and hit the spot!

With the changes in the menu and food quality do not waste your time or money. The grilled "chicken" is like a chicken nugget with fake grill marks...totally inedible. The lettuce is advertised on social media as Boltz Family Farm which I have had and it is not. Fries were hot and fresh.
