Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Reviews from The Last Year
The customer service went you check in is top notch.
So friendly and welcoming which always starts out the stay right. The rooftop restaurant is classy with great food and Los Angeles views. Good drinks and loved the in room coffee. The bed and pillows were comfortable and everything about our stay was enjoyable. 5 stars!
Lovely hotel
A wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Stayed for 2 nights. Received a generous upgrade as a diamond member. Room was clean and quiet. Gym is not large but gets the job done with high-quality equipment. Breakfast at Espelette was delicious and service there was fantastic, especially from Remon. No executive lounge. Walking distance to Rodeo Drive. There is a house car service which we did not use. The gentleman at the door has the best smile in the business. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The service we received from each and every staff member was outstanding.
HIgh Tech Luxury Hotel
This may be the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We used two of our free Amex hotel room coupons to book the most expensive hotel we could find within 200 miles. We are also Hilton Diamond members, so we got a upgrade to a higher floor room with a nice view overlooking Beverly Hills. The check-in process was seamless, since we used our iphone as our digital key. It worked well for our stay. Since we were on a higher floor, we also needed to use our digital key to punch in our room floor when we got in the elevator. It worked ok but it was difficult as first since we weren't aware we needed to use it because of security reasons. The room was a 2br queen on the 9th floor. It was very spacious with a nice terrace and two comfortable chairs. Since it was overcast for the entirety of our stay, we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Hilton spared no expense in the construction of this hotel. Everything was in the room was top notch quality, including all of the doors. The bathroom was large with a separate bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet with its own door. It had top notch toiletries. The shower had very nice water pressure although it took a bit of time to figure out how to use the two shower controls. The closet is walk-in, also spacious, and with a safe. This is a high tech hotel. You can use voice comands via Alexa to control the lights and curtains and the tablet device to contact reception, housekeeping or your own personal concierge. The parking is valet and you use text messaging to fetch your car when you need it. The televison was also first class with a simple to use menu. We ate at both restaurants and each of them were excellent although with a somewhat limited menu. The top floor restaurant was a people watching experience, with nice views of downtown and the surrounding area. Our server, named Harmony was super friendly and helpful and walked us through our menu options that were suitable for sharing. We had a nice glass of California sparkling wine. The top floor restaurant had a stunning wall with a variety of fresh plants. When we got back to our room, our beds were turned down, with complimentary slippers on the floor, chocolates on our night stand, and soft music playing on the television. We had a nice breakfast at the downstairs restaurant, and there is also a Starbucks across the street if you want a change of pace. The hotel staff was friendly, as befitting a high-end hotel. We had a great two night stay
Worst Brunch Ever
Awful, start to finish. We had reservation for Mother's Day Tea. They didn't have our reservation and made no attempt to suggest another time. They sent us to the main dining room, which was empty, and the menu was ultra-expensive coffee shop eggs (one person got the chicken and said it was good). The toast order was wrong. One of my party ordered a martini which was served in a tumbler because "there's no bartender on duty." Another member of our party had to get up TWICE to search for a waiter. (On Mother's Day). We asked for their famous ice cream sundae but were told that there was only a self-serve dessert bar. We didn't go to the Waldorf for self-serve. While I'm at it, the valet couldn't find one person's car (she said "I guarantee it's the only Subaru in the garage"); that took a full thirty minutes. Never again.
My disastrous experience in Waldorf
Before reading my review, please read the attached photo which was a Review from another group of victims in the same incident my family had in Waldorf Hotel at Beverly Hills California. Here's my story. On Feb.9th, 2024, in the evening, all of a sudden, 2 men and 2 women entered our room with the hotel's key when my wife just came out of shower and was naked in the hallway. My wife started screaming and crying immediately. She has pretty bad depression and seizures. The major goal of traveling to LA were for celebrating our anniversary and holiday as well as for the hope of making her better physically and mentally. It turned out a complete disaster to her and my family merely due to the horrible customer service of the front desk staff. How could they give another family our room? I still don't get it! I gave my wife 3 doses of emergency meds to get her through the terrible night and help her minimize the thoughts of suicide. She's a conservative woman and it's the biggest shame for her to be seen naked by strangers in her whole life. Currently she's still suffering from the aftermath of the incident which had worsened her symptoms and had become more challenging for her doctors. As a compensation for the stupid incident, the on-duty manager promised to waive all costs of our 2-night stays and the assistant director confirmed that when we were checking out. But THREE MONTHS past the refund still has not been completed. I touched base with the hotel including the assistant director several times. Unfortunately, it seems like I have been begging for the refund. They made an unacceptable mistake first, then lied to victims about the refund! What a 5-star hotel! I'm really tired of their careless and cold-hearted attitude and have been thinking to file a lawsuit against their 0/5 customer service especially for my wife's sufferings that undoubtedly have been caused and worsened by the poorest customer service. Some other things l'd like to mention as well. We checked in at 4:00 PM but were told that the room was not available yet. Weird? We were further informed that we either need to wait at least 1 hour or downgrade to another room which would be ready within 20 minutes. Because we reserved a restaurant for celebrating our most important holiday with families at 5:30 PM, we had no choice but to accept the downgrade. Unfortunately, the waiting time turned out to be 70 minutes instead of 20 minutes. We were absolutely late to the party and we even didn't get a chance to get dressed up for the important party. Please take a look at another photo of the dirty vase in my room. We have traveled a lot domestically and internationally, and stayed in a lot of hotels. I got to say that Waldorf is the worst one in terms of customer service especially the management team of the front desk. At the meantime, I have to say that the location is good and the hotel in general is good. What it really needs is a qualified management team.
Luxury At Its Best
Absolutely stunning. Polite front desk personnel made check-in a breeze. Spacious room with extra large bathroom. Floor to ceiling windows open up to a generous sized balcony with breathe taking views. Enjoyed a light meal, $29 salad and $32 glass of wine, at the rooftop restaurant and caught a beautiful sunset.

LUXURIOUS GETAWAY!! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a touch of luxury that set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of design and comfort. The rooms are elegantly furnished with every detail carefully considered, from the plush bedding to the breathtaking views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and we especially enjoyed the pool facilities. One of the highlights of our stay was the complementary ride in a Rolls-Royce. It was a truly indulgent experience, cruising through the streets in style and feeling like a celebrity. The attention to detail extended to every aspect of our stay, including this thoughtful gesture.
The high life
From the moment you arrived you are warmly welcomed into this luxurious hotel. We stayed on the 9th floor and our balcony offered views over the expanse of LA. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed from the rosewood finishes, to a super comfortable bed and large bathroom with an excess of fluffy white towels. Just simply luxurious

Location: A+ Service: A+ Value: B+ Hard product: A Love the art deco vibes. Highly recommend this hotel you feel like you're a celebrity. Service is upscale but not overly pretentious. Rooms all have dysons, nice balconies and great floor plans. Even the smallest rooms are over 400 sq. feet. Several house cars, including a rolls. Diamond breakfast is good. Rooftop is restaurant is good but pricey. Overall I recommend this place, for a gateway or a vacation.
Employees with Beverly Hills Attitude
Beautiful hotel: however, it's all surface like LA. Hate to write this but the service providers were as snooty as the guests. The doormen saw that I was struggling to carry my bag to my Uber because cars were blocking the driveway, yet they stood there talking. The spa attendant questioned if I was a guest. The room service person who delivered the ice (after waiting for 30 minutes, mind you) didn't even bother setting the bucket on the table, but rather shoved it in my hands and left. I know this is Beverly Hills, but was I supposed to serve the employees too?
Amazing hotel 10/10
This hotel is simply stunning! Very warm welcome on arrival, rooms are large with full mini-bar, beautifully made beds and linens, roof top balcony dining, all staff were on point, sophisticated yet relaxed. Highly recommend! Shout-out to Mimi at the rooftop pool, our teenage daughters said she is the nicest staff member they have met, she even offered to braid their hair and hugs when we left. Sad to leave, we will definitely be back!
What makes a 5 star hotel? Service.
And that is where this Waldorf was severely lacking. We've been staying about once a year at this hotel since 2019 and it has significantly declined. After this experience, I doubt we'll stay again. Check in: slow. The front desk guy was not friendly. We showed up early around 1:30 pm and understandably our room was not ready. He did not provide an estimate or anything else unless I asked. No information about amenities, or the hotel. We were finally able to check in at 3:30 pm. Not even an offer for water or to hold our bags while we waited. Room: the inside door lock was broken. There was a dirty rag in the desk. When we told them, there was no apology. They came and "removed" it by moving it into the bathroom drawer... see the photo. Accommodations: It took 3 attempts to get a crib. We emailed and asked for a crib prior and they said it would be in the room. There was none so we called and asked for the crib and they brought a rolling bed. The valets are very aggressive with your luggage and car. I appreciate their offer to help, but they slammed our luggage on the rim of our trunk and I would have rather have done it myself. As a Hilton Diamond, they present you with a paper that shows your perks including a "treat" in your room. The last few times we stayed it was some chocolate. This time there was none in the room. I asked the front desk and they said they would look into it and I never heard back again. There is no separation from this hotel from others. I received better service from the home 2 suites in Boise. If you're going to LA, stay at the Conrad. Lastly, one of my stays prior I woke up with tons of bites on my legs and feet. I showed the front desk and all they said was they would look into it and I never heard about it again. The extra star is because the concierge and the rooftop host were very friendly.
Thank you Mars Panlasigui for a great stay !
Mars Panlasigui (General Manager on Shift) really went above and beyond. The hotel is fantastic, love Waldorf properties, especially the newer ones. Would certainly come back. Great food and also a very nice gym. We enjoyed our balcony and all the details.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Pristinely clean & well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff.
Luxurious stay at Luxurious prices.
Used our FNS via Hilton AMEX bennies. Loved being catered to and pampered. Beautiful views, fine foods, and great amenities. Brought all our luggage and hung up garment bag before we came upstairs. Love the house car, 2023 Rolls Royce Phantom, which chauffeured us to dinner nearby. Walked to Rodeo Drive to stroll around and shop.
Came here for a staycation and celebrate my Birthday.
The rooms are beautiful although a pillow case had some shredded edges and some stains on the sheets (for a 5 star hotel and price, this is something you would not expect to see) , good location in Beverly Hills close to Rodeo Dr. The roof top, where the pool and the Rooftop by JG restaurant are located, has a great 360 degree views of the city. Food at the rooftop restaurant is mediocre with outrageous prices (examples: cocktails are $26+, bottle of water $14, valet parking $70 per night). Service at the restaurant was friendly and attentive, though. The most disappointing part of the stay was the overall service and "Personal Concierge" thru the app text/email. The concierge reached out before the stay with an email. But there was no follow up with my second email asking for a reservation at the rooftop restaurant. We ended up getting a reservation in person by ourselves (the restaurant staff were really friendly and accommodating). The second time we encountered problems with the personal concierge service is when we had a problem with the in room Nespresso coffee machine. The machine made very watery coffee and would not stop. Reported it at 4pm and concierge Dillon offered to bring a new one, I said "please (do!)". By the time we came back from dinner at 8pm, still no action. We texted again, concierge Jennifer answered to have a machine delivered. We went out and came back found a new coffee machine, but it also didn't work. This time, the machine didn't pump any water at all, just made noises. We called the front desk reported it again and said they would send someone, no one showed up to do anything. It was after 10pm already we decided to just let it go. Another thing we noticed is that during turndown service, someone came to refresh the room which is welcoming, but didn't clean up the dirty dishes that we left on the table and put half filled water bottle on the night stand (the half filled water was the water that we used for the coffee that we couldn't make nor drink). They could have at least put some new bottles of water on the night stand. These are all small issues but for a hotel of this caliber, I'd consider these as service failure. The no follow ups and follow thru from the personal concierges multiple times is very disappointing. The last observation that I'd like to point out is that I asked for a 2pm late check out, if possible, of course. The concierge answered with a 12:30pm check out time. I asked again if 2 pm was possible. The concierge Mohamed answered as No, it was not possible due to others guests checking in but "Absolutely,...for a half days rate" is possible. If it's not possible to begin with, I can understand, but then to offer it for a paid half day rate just left a sour taste. Very disappointing service overall from the hotel. We ended up just checking out at noon.

We enjoyed our stay here because of the great service and amenities. Highlights were the rooftop pool, jacuzzi and bar/restaurant with exceptional 360 views. An extra touch of class was the Rolls Royce Phantom extended wheelbase house car we needed twice during our stay. Thanks to Nick the driver, and to the front desk for the room upgrade to Penthouse Level.
As LA natives, we were really excited to use our FNC here
As LA natives, we were really excited to use our FNC here for a staycation for our 8-year anniversary and my belated birthday. We booked this room as early as September 2023 and had originally been booked in a Deluxe King Room (higher floors than Superior King Room, misleading name.) Prior to check-in, I reached out to personal concierge in hopes of obtaining a branded WABH plus bear. If you don't know that these are collectible items, now you know. Truthfully I think these are for children but so many people love to add to their collection and I knew it was a must for my visit. They were hesitant to put one on hold for me and also stated that potential room upgrades would be subject to availability upon check-in, but on the morning of our visit I saw on the app that we had been upgraded to the Beverly Hills King Room with Terrace and a View! The photos on the app do not do this hotel justice. The room is gorgeous with so much natural light and breeze from the floor to ceiling windows/doors. You truly feel the elegance and the details that go into the design and wow, I must say that this is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at and we've been to quite a few close contenders. I was so pleased when they were able to gift me the WABH Bear in its adorable plush robe (of course I took a photo with the plush robe on myself) and they were even sweet enough to provide a complimentary dessert spread of chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries to commemorate our anniversary and birthday. A few notable things about this hotel: - they have high tea on the weekends. It's pricey, but it looks delicious! - you can use your myway food credit at Espelette, Rooftop by JG, and room service as well - they have a Dyson hair dryer in the unit!!! - their bath amenities are Aesop and they're lovely - the bath salts that you can ask for are amazing - you can reserve the house car (did I mention it's a 2023 Rolls Royce Phantom?!) - they offered complimentary late check out at 1pm (standard is 12pm) for being Diamond members - their water bottles are 16 oz each and have the cutest labels Some things I didn't like: - housekeeping was a major miss. We missed the first time they attempted to deliver our items but it took us 4 more tries for them to actually deliver it - turndown service was less than stellar. They didn't add slippers, chocolates (pretty customary at Conrad and WA elsewhere), leave a handwritten note (again, just a nice personal touch), and they didn't even replenish the amenities in the room. I thought that was so odd, because why even ask for turndown service at this point? - valet was a whopping $70 per night!!! Good grief. - incidentals, if this is a concern for you, are $400/night Here's the thing: this room cost over $1500/night and I genuinely felt the value of being here and felt the customer service was great. Mars helped us upon check-in and I love the added touch of personally escorting us to the elevator to our floor and also stepping aside from the counter to offer us water bottles. This is the mark of service done right. If you've been wondering where to stay in LA and want to really make it magical, then I strongly urge you to stay at WABH. Even at the basic room type, each room has a terrace that really adds to the overall appeal to the room. It's lovely. It's dreamy. It's Beverly Hills. (12/50--2024)

Soo pretty at night with all the lights with the view of DTLA. I came here for an event where i got to see fat joe. I got lost and roamed around the hotel. Only place I was able to check out before the event was the rooftop and its pretty much the only place you can visit other than the lobby without having a hotel key.
