Save your money and stay at the $39.
00 circus circus. It just astounds me to see a historically fabulous brand reduced to mediocrity by Millenial management. I've been staying at the property for over a decade (when it was the Mandarin) and every time I come it seems less and less fabulous. As someone famous once said: "you can put lipstick on a pig, but, it's still just a pig." The door men are on their cellphones, the evening turndown doesn't exist, check-in while friendly can't place you in the room category you paid for... It's painfully obvious none of the staff has ever actually experienced what a guest staying in the property would actually expect. I'm generally willing to pay a premium to get the "old world" experience, but, if it winds up being half-assed and undelivered I'd rather save my money and stay in a stereotypical Vegas dump like everyone else.

TLDR: The first thing my daughter said to her father when he picked us up from our Mother's day stay was that there were BUTT CHEEKS on the window. That's her memory of this weekend. Can't wait to hear from her teacher what she shares in class today. I would recommend checking in on your app as it tells you when the room is ready. Check-in was messy. There isn't signage or staff in the lobby to help. There is 1 line (no separate Hilton Honors line). They only do upgrades in person (maybe for the $20 trick or to size you up). If you want to check in 2 hours early, you must book a room for the night before. Hotel made it seem like they did me a favor that I had a room to go to when I checked in as several guests were stuck waiting for a text. She also kept having to run in the back, like to check with her manager if they could give me an upgrade or to make my room key, etc. Turns out she was the Front Office Manager. BIZARRE. Contrary to the welcome email I got after booking, I did not get a dedicated concierge for a flawless visit. You're routed through their ticketing system. I ended up having to follow up at the end myself as they didn't deliver. Maybe if I was just booking a spa appt or dinner reservation, they would have been helpful. We couldn't regulate the room temperature. It was ungodly hot (70) when we walked in. Took about 3 hours for it to cool down to 68. Ended up having to set it to 72 as it was too cold. Water pressure in the shower was lacking. Zero personal touches. At high-end properties, we've received a handwritten note with a small amenity. Nada. The concierge did send up a cupcake decorating kit later to celebrate Mother's day. The pool was empty. There's a towel booth but no attendant. Had to flag someone down to grab them. Room service has 2 separate charges (delivery and service). Allegedly that's gratuity. Not so sure b/c the server was surprised and really thankful when I gave him a cash tip. Food was standard, maybe not as good as the Wynn. Salad was exceptional - crisp and clean lettuce with the right amount of dressing. Seeing my girls so happy by the end of the night flipped my attitude toward the property. I would totally rebook this even though it was no better than a 3 star experience. They really loved the pool and the tub in the room. UNTIL......my girls had been looking out the window at the strip so I thought they must have dirtied the windows and left their handprints. We clean up after ourselves and I come prepared with wipes. Look a little closer and what do I see, it's very graphic and NOT my 7yo. I'm LIVID at this point as I cleaned the ottoman earlier thinking my kids left white stains on the ottoman. I'm now wondering if it's bodily fluid from a previous guest (GAG). Before ANYONE wants to claim that it's me making said smudge. Look, even in my prime before kids, my boobs did not look that great or in symmetry like a grade-A surgeon's touch. I message the hotel (a little after 9pm). I received the MOST PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE PETTY RESPONSE over an hour later from the front desk manager. Not even an offer to clean it up. They didn't take my invitation to come and see what they're now calling a "smudge". Even after I told them what the image CLEARLY WAS. By then, my girls has passed out so I waited til they woke up the next morning. We were out of there a little after 9am. Opted to eat breakfast off the property. The hotel's overall service was no better than a $19/night hotel on Freemont. Luxury five-star white glove this was not. It was more of a middle finger. They did live up to their promise of "AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY IN THE HEART OF THE STRIP". What a way to celebrate Mother's day. After proofing my review, I had my a-ha moment that the hotel probably only wants White customers. The people who didn't have to wait for their room, or had someone bring them towels at the pool, or received bottle water at check in, were...and all the people who had hiccups or had to wait for a text for their room were.....
Be the first to ReplyWas so excited to return to WA for afternoon tea.
It was a huge disappointment. We were not informed when making the reservation that the tea lounge on the 23rd floor was closed for remodeling. Instead the tea lounge has been temporarily moved to the 3rd floor. The view is awful. Also it is in a very smell room with no ambiance. The food was underwhelming at best. Tea sandwiches were nasty and tasted like they had been made hours in advance. The scones were good. The desserts look like they were premade by Sysco. Nothing original, nothing fresh. Definitely will not be returning.

Really enjoyable stay! :) The two rooms were clean and I love the coffee machine.
Be the first to ReplyBased on our recently stay at the Waldorf Astoria located
Based on our recently stay at the Waldorf Astoria located on the strip of Las Vegas, unfortunately our stay was not what we had envisioned. My husband and I often stay at the Las Vegas strip when we are in town. We have stayed at more than 5 different hotels on the strip and heard raving reviews about the Waldorf. So we decided to book a few nights there and wanted to see what they had to offer. From the moment of checking in we asked to get a room upgrade since it was my husband's birthday. They were able to make those accommodations and I was looking forward to seeing the suite. When we got to the room it felt a bit outdated. The view was obstruct with the back of a billboard. It definitely did not feel like an upgrade...might have been a down grade from our original booking (we paid extra for the upgrade). The flooring was very scratched up and it just looked ruined down. What shocked me most was I notice the room was not properly cleaned. The coffee table in the living area had coffee/drink stains present. I then inspected the rest of the room and saw more stains on the vanity counter top in the bathroom. I didn't want to make it a big deal so I let that be and tried to be optimistic with the stay. The 2nd night we had issues with the lighting in the room. They were not turning off when we clicked the switch and had to call the engineering team from the hotel. They had to remotely assist us. Overall, our experience didn't feel like other hotels we've stayed at in Las Vegas. It didn't feel luxurious and the customer service was average. We've stayed at the Wynn, Aria Sky Suites, Caesars Palace, Palazzo, Resort World, and many more. We've always had excellent service from the time we check in til the end of our stay. The Waldorf was very flat in service and we hardly were able to get a hold of room service/front desk for anything. I hope my feedback can be used to improve the property in ways guests would feel more comfortable and have a more enjoyable experience.
Be the first to ReplyStayed in multiple high end hotels in Las Vegas as well as
Stayed in multiple high end hotels in Las Vegas as well as other places around the world and unfortunately, Waldorf Astoria did not live up to its name. Did my reservation through AMEX FHR and 99.9% I've had positive experiences and the properties have accommodated us with the benefits. This property however was different. First, the 12pm check in was not given even when I contacted them prior that I'll be arriving earlier than usual. It would've been acceptable if they truly stated that they're not able to instead they led me to believe that they could. Then, worse of all... I was tricked into paying extra for a "upgraded" room when the room they gave me was run down, room had a view of the CVS billboard, electronics was not working properly in room, and had random construction noises every 8am. I requested to be moved into my original room but front desk kept telling me that they are "fully booked" It was also a bit of a treck to get to your room coz you had to go up into 2 sets of elevators every day. They also didn't change much and still reminded me of Mandarin Oriental hotel... Overall, my birthday was not as special as I'd like it to be given that I've always celebrated my bday there every year. Thank you Waldorf.
Be the first to ReplyMy partner and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for four
My partner and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for four nights what visiting Las Vegas. Overall, the room with modern and clean, but the construction of the lobby did not make the salary premium experience. There is ongoing construction for the lobby as of September 2023, which certainly changes the experience not for the better. There was still insulation visible, so it will be that way for quite some time. So as of now, you enter through the side entrance in the courtyard, which is basically by the event rooms on the third floor. The hotel is organized where the 23rd floor is the top floor and that's where the check in is. So outside of check-in, there is never any interaction with anyone that works at this hotel, except for the bellman near the side of trees. Always having to walk through the convention area to get to the elevators for your room is not a very premium experience. I assume once the lobby is finished that there will be a check in or greeting area, but until that happens, this is not a five star hotel. We got a nice base room on the 11th floor, which overlooked the Strip. There was a very nice working desk and lounge area in the king rooms. One issue that we constantly had was that our shades and drapes were all controlled with a touchscreen and none of the three touchscreens worked. We had maintenance to our room a few times, and even they struggled and had to reset the entire room. No communication from Management that basically the room was inoperable for parts of our stay. The pool area is quite nice and there are two different pools located near each other. During the day, there is a lot of shade at the pools on account of the building, which blocks the sun, which is a bonus. The pool is probably the best aspect to this property. Overall, we opted to stay at a hotel instead of a hotel/casino because we figured that the hotel alone would have to focus on hotel amenities and service as opposed to taking care of casino players. Unfortunately, the Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas did not provide the service that you would get at Venetian or Bellagio, to say nothing if you were comped or had loyalty at the MGM or Caesars properties.

Ok girls if you want to be in Vegas on the decidedly upscale this is the way to go. In my little oasis I completely forgot I was in the middle of the strip. The rooms are comfortable with a soaking tub so you can feel entirely pampered. Very nice atmosphere unless you want the raucous Vegas casino experience.

Lives up to its name! Worth every penny; or in this case, worth every bill lol! We loved the fact that it's a non gaming hotel; no stinky smoke veil and crowded casino. You can "check out" of the rowdy Vegas scene while ur here but still being able to enjoy the Vegas vibes when ur ready to go out. The location is perfect; the miracle mile is across the street. We had a great view of the strip. The hotel is impeccable and every thing in ur needs are anticipated and fulfilled . Our junior suite was amazing. Everything in the room can be controlled with a push of a button either from the entry or by ur bedside. Loved the standalone large tub, plush robes, slippers and Aesop bath products. The bed was heavenly!! We loved the spa and pool area; it was definitely relaxing and chill. There were no obnoxious drunks playing their loud music, etc.; just people having a great time. The pool area had enough music to add to the ambience but just enough that you can have a decent conversation without having the need to shout. The pool staff were attentive and friendly. Our drinks were barely empty and they were observant enough to refill our drinks in a timely manner. Overall, we highly recommend this place and we are definitely coming back!

Best hotel I have ever been to, the service was excellent from the moment I arrived to the hotel. Ambiance was beautiful and room was very spacious.
Be the first to ReplyMy stay at the Waldorf felt like a retreat.
Its discreet entrance leads to a sanctuary of luxury. The room melds zen beauty with ultimate comfort, highlighted by a spa-like bathroom with bath salts and plush robes, complemented by Aesop products. The walk-in closet removes the clutter from the main area. And turn down service where they bring ice and water at night is always convenient. Compared to my recent stay at the Wynn, the Waldorf excels in providing a serene, comforting escape. It's not just a hotel; it's a retreat in the city's heart.
Be the first to ReplyI went for a conference and the catering was on point.
I also wil say their chairs are comfy to a conference bc I did snooze one or two times lol. I will say though the lobby could use some work it's small and nothing is noted so I had no idea where to go. Also there is no parking it's all valet

Be the first to ReplyExceptional stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas! This
Exceptional stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas! This five-star hotel offers a distinctive getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Strip while conveniently close to everything. The amenities are nothing short of extraordinary: floor-to-ceiling windows, city and Strip views, soaking tubs, you name it - they have it. The service provided is of the highest standards. In-room dining experience, on-site restaurant, and the hotel bar are all phenomenal. The only drawback during my stay was that my key card kept malfunctioning and I had to get it replaced at the front desk each morning I was there. Even with this minor inconvenience, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Be the first to ReplyI had the unique opportunity to stay at the Waldorf Astoria
I had the unique opportunity to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas twice during the holiday season - once at Christmas and then on New Year's Eve. Both stays offered distinct experiences, shaped by the occasions and the different booking methods. Christmas Stay - American Express Fine Hotel and Resorts Benefits: My first stay was booked through the American Express Fine Hotel and Resorts program, which came with a suite of benefits that enhanced the experience significantly. These perks, including possibly room upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, and additional amenities, made the Christmas stay feel particularly special and luxurious. New Year's Eve Stay - Hilton Diamond Member Perks: The second visit was booked as a Hilton Diamond member, where I used my free reward night ( 80k points) for New Year's Eve - a fantastic value, especially for such a high-demand night. The highlight was the $200 upgrade to a panoramic suite. The suite was nothing short of spectacular, providing an unforgettable view of the New Year's fireworks. It was a remarkable way to ring in the new year. Room Service: During my stays, I indulged in room service, ordering a burger, spaghetti, and breakfast. Unfortunately, the food left something to be desired. It wasn't up to the mark you'd expect from a high-end establishment like the Waldorf Astoria, lacking in flavor and presentation. Valet Service: A significant plus was the valet service. The ability to call down and have the car waiting was incredibly convenient, especially in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. This thoughtful service saved precious time and reduced any potential stress related to transportation. Hotel Access and Amenities: One notable limitation was the access to hotel amenities prior to check-in. Unless you have a spa appointment, there's not much to do if you arrive early and your room isn't ready. This can be a bit of an inconvenience, particularly for those looking to make the most of their stay from the moment they arrive. In addition, the need to use two elevators to get to the room was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall Impression: The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas shines in many areas - exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and memorable views. However, the room service quality and limited pre-check-in amenities slightly marred the overall experience. That said, both of my stays were enjoyable, with the New Year's Eve experience being particularly noteworthy due to the panoramic suite and the breathtaking fireworks display. I would recommend the Waldorf Astoria for those seeking a high-end Vegas experience, with the advice to possibly dine outside the hotel for more memorable meals.

Jane and Thomas are the best. I always stay here when I head to Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyWe have had the best stay here.
Racquel was extremely helpful at check in & provided great tips for our stay as well as an amazing room with incredible views. Everyone has been so welcoming. The spa was amazing - gorgeous! I loved my massage with Leina and can't wait to return. Drinks were terrific at Skybar. Just a perfect escape. Thank you again to the team at the Waldorf for making our trip so special

Worst Vegas experience ever! Me and my fiancรฉ drove to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway arrived at 3pm on a Saturday the rude lady at the front desk informed me that our room wasn't ready and that "check-in is at 4pm" I've stayed at many upscale hotels through out the US and abroad and the rooms are typically always ready ahead of time. So that was a bummer after driving 4hrs so we had to wait for their text letting me know the room was ready. I received the text at 3:58 LOL I thought that was comical she really wanted to flex her muscle on the 4pm check-in. After check-in we had to travel through a maze to get the hotel elevators. The room was nice but I was expecting more for $1000 a night. We stayed in the panoramic room which I was expecting more widows and windows that actually went from the floor the the ceiling. I would've been better at the Venetian but wanted to try this hotel and it wasn't much the Aria is close probably would've been better staying their. I was charged a $1,000 "smoking fee" because housekeeping saw a half of a cigar that I was smoking at the Aria. The hotel room is enclosed with no balcony or open windows I wouldn't possibly smoke a cigar in their with me fiancรฉ. Then no manger has called men back regarding the extra $1,000 charge. And to top it off their valet scratched the inside of my car and of course they say they didn' do it. It's a brand new car I know it wasn't there prior to me checking in. Totally mess up my trip bad experience. If you're considering this place when visiting Vegas Please go somewhere else Vegas has so many other better options then this joke of a hotel.

During my birthday week in Las Vegas, I treated myself to a night at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. We originally booked a City View - One King Bed. Being a Hilton Diamond member, they upgraded our room to Vegas Strip View - One King Bed on the 17th floor. After valeting our car for $35, we went to the arrival lobby elevator to the 3rd floor to take another set of elevators to the 23rd to check into the hotel. It was helpful that there were a lot of signs to lead us to the second set of elevators. Caleb was polite. He gave us a pamphlet detailing the Diamond benefits and a couple of bottles of water. I liked how our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. I liked how the bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. However, there was no door into the common area of the bathroom and the shower wasn't big enough for two people.
Be the first to ReplyMy second stay here, on Christmas Eve, was pretty good
My second stay here, on Christmas Eve, was pretty good overall. Hotel check in is on the same floor as SkyBar, and there were signs directing you there. I believe the main lobby/check in area is being renovated. Check in was pretty quick, and they had complimentary bottles of water available. I had requested a Strip view, which the agent at check in said they gave me. My room had a view of CityCenter, not the Strip. I didn't complain since I wasn't going to be in the room that much. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, which was a nice touch. I liked the large bathroom, and other than that nothing really stood out as that memorable. The shower was a rainshower, which is always nice! I couldn't get some of the lights in the room to turn off when I returned to the room that night. I enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool a lot. There were a few bees around the hot tub, which I mentioned to a spa employee when I left the hot tub before I checked out. Breakfast at Zen was very good, I had the seasonal gingerbread pancakes with bacon. I wasn't able to checkout using the TV, and I received my bill under the door. It showed a 0 balance. I received an invoice emailed to me about a week later, with a balance of almost $100 that was already charged to my card. The charges were for the minibar (dated 12/31, a week after my stay), which I didn't utilize, and the resort fee, which was waived for my stay. Long story short, it took 3 emails to the hotel until the charges were refunded. Very frustrating! My first stay at the hotel was also for one night, and we visited SkyBar but not the pool area. SkyBar was the low point, as the service was just OK. Our party of 3 was there for birthday drinks with a view. The drinks were good, with the cocktails running at around $20. I had a VGK themed cocktail, which is served on a hockey rink plate with dry ice. We did wait quite a while for service at our seats outside the main bar, which is still part of the service area!We had complimentary breakfast at the Zen restaurant (it was Mozen when was the Mandarin). The dining room was nice, and the yoghurt was delicious! The Waldorf is a convenient location at CityCenter, and it's walking distance to Aria, Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan.

This is the BEST hotel I've had the pleasure of staying as so happy its part of the Hilton family. So bougie and so amazing we will definitely stay again if we are in Vegas again. Tucked behind CVS next to Park MGM and The Crystals on the strip. Location is perfect next to everything and it is a non gaming casino so no smoke is heavenly! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Restaurant on site is great, the room fantastic! Equipped with a huge soaking tub with bath salts, bath robes, slippers. No ice machines, they kindly come by in the evening offering a bag of ice and bottled water. Umm, yes please!!!! So happy with our stay and everything here.
Be the first to ReplyFavorite place to stay! Love this Waldorf.
We live in Las Vegas and were headed to the strip for a one night staycation. The Waldorf is the perfect place if you are looking for a non casino hotel. The rooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable, the amenities are plentiful. The room has a fully stocked refrigerator, Nespresso machine, robes, slippers. Breakfast was fabulous - starting with the best tasting vanilla latte, to our Eggs Benedict and the assorted fruit plate. The hotel is an easy walk to the Aria, and Crystal Shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area, spa & gym are awesome. This is a definite gem on the strip. Highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyThe property, even with renovations is beautiful.
Most of the staff offers exceptional service. They lose a star in my opinion because of the racketeering in valet. Handed my ticket to leave, they pulled my car up, I gave the valet a tip. He told me that the fine print on the ticket says valet is $20. I apologized and said I didn't see that. I asked if there was a machine I could pay at or a link on the phone like every other property on Las Vegas Blvd, and he said, "no, it's cash only." I asked if there was a nearby ATM, he said "there is not." So then my wife and I after a beautiful night are digging around our vehicle trying to scrap together $20. It was embarrassing. If you're going to charge for valet, which I'm fine with, offer your guests a way to pay. I'm sure the valets are just pocketing the $20 tax free, but it's not 5 star service. Maybe they don't care now.... Maybe that was more a Mandarin value.

I had a wonderful stay for New Years! This is a great place if you want to be away from the casinos and cigarette smoke. I like that CVS is right next door, so you can get your snacks and drinks easily. The hotel does not have a store, so this is great. The only drawback about the location was an Uber driver got lost. The driveway is tucked in near the Aria, and I can see how it's hard to find. other than that, it was great!!
