It was not one of the better noodles we have had. We ordered the $5 dry version, and the portion was so so. The noodles were okay, but the overall taste was of chilli and fried shallots. The soup was also on the cloudy side. There were three halves of sliced prawns, but they were fresh.
Be the first to ReplyGood Prawn Noodles Soup
First time eating at this stall, ordered the $5.50 Prawns n Pigtail beehoon/Mee soup. Soup stock is robust but not overwhelming, not so prawny in taste so love it, finished every drop of it. The beehoon is a very slightly thicker version, preferred it if it was softer! So next round only yellow noodles for me. You get 2 medium sized unpeeled prawns n 3 pieces of pigtails, I felt it was alright for the price. Saw someone eating the dry version, don't really fancy the chilli sambal they are using but if you don't try then you won't know how it tastes.
Be the first to ReplyBig prawns, sweet soup
My favourite dish is prawn noodles and I can have it 3 times a week. Tried this and find the soup a tad too sweet, but other than that the prawns are really jumbo (I ordered jumbo) and it is a decent meal. Will definitely eat it again!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing taste, Too salty
Arrived at this stall around 10.30 am for brunch. Queued up for 15 minutes. The serving lady was cheerful and helpful. But the food was disappointing compared to what I had many years ago, at my last visit. I had the dry skinny bee hoon this time, the prawns were fresh and of a good size. The liver was not well done, and the soup was way too salty! Will not return for this $8.00 bowl of disappointing noodles.

This stall has been at Old Airport Road Food Centre for a long time. The noodles is nicely done and the prawn is fresh. The soup is also tasty. The prices of a bowl of prawn noodle depends very much on the size of the prawns you order. Do try the food here the next time you are at Old Airport Road Food Centre.

on first try, blown away by their taste and the soup was godly though very little. the varieties of the menu can be confusing, would prefer modernized menu for improvement. small prawn ia good because the essence is the soup

This is the shop at Boat Quay.
Lacking in the prawn taste oomph :(
The prawn cracker from the wuxiang stall is not bad though.
Prices are not cheap, there are better noodles with better quality shrimp.
Tasty soup and fresh prawns
Even though I had ordered the $5 prawn noodle, the portion was just right and the noodles chewy. Soup was delicious and prawns were huge and fresh.
