Zuma Dubai Reviews
Sushi is a must but other dishes are average
This was my very first and very awaited visit to Zuma Dubai and my expextations were pretty high. However I cannot say that I am fully satisfied with their food. I ordered the most exquisite chef selection tasting menu and some dishes vere average. I tried wide selection of cold and hot starters, for the main I had fish and meat, I also had sushi and desserts. And to sum up I can say that I will definitely be back for their sushi (fabulous quality of fish) - this was a hit!!!! Also I totally enjoyed black cod and steak but those you can have in many other restaurants. Starters are extremely pricey and not worth recommendation. From that list the only very good thing was scalops. Side dishes average.
Avoid
Horrible experience due to miscommunication between booking and front line staff. Mean and haughty frontline staff - ruined my birthday celebration.
Just a great consistent restaurant where ever you visited around the world
Another of our favourite chains of high-quality restaurants having recently had their food in Miami and Singapore. Strangely we’ve yet to visit them in London and that’s on our to do list. Zuma offers a wide range of Asian plates, all of which hit the spot and we thoroughly enjoyed with my brother and his partner and my own partner when we visited in Dubai. Every one of us enjoyed the variety food that we chose, and it was fun, with us each choosing a dish for each course not knowing what the others would like. A great sharing plates venue. We all probably tried food that we would not normally choose ourselves and that was an added benefit. The environment, as is always the case with this restaurant chain, extremely nice, the staff could not do enough for you and overall, it was a fantastic experience. We will be returning to Zuma, both here else and elsewhere when the opportunity arises in the next year or so.
The worst ever!
I am literally unspoken how bad this place is! From the entrance, service, managers.. I never in my life thought that they can go on such a low level! Tomorrow I’ll write full story everything!
Never going back
horrible experience management there is contractingwhores in the place, if you talk to a girlwithout paying or taking her homethey come tell you i dont likeyour behaviour and push you to go out, will never go there, bold guy called noreen stay away
Overhyped. Average food & terrible service.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We went for their Ebisu business lunch. From the start, the hostesses failed to offer a warm welcome; even a simple smile would have made a difference. When we requested to move tables and expressed our willingness to wait, the server said he would try but then disappeared without any update. If no tables were available, they could have at least informed us. When my main course, a wagyu steak, was served, I wasn't given any cutlery. Were they expecting us to eat it by hand? I had to get the attention of a staff member, which took some time, and by then, my steak had gone cold. The food was average, and the service was terrible. The restaurant lacked any ambiance. It seems to be either overhyped or suffering from poor management. Do yourself a favor and dine somewhere else.

An absolute must-try restaurant!
Don’t know where to begin. This restaurant is one if my favorite that I have try first in Abu Dhabi and was so excited to try it in Dubai and see if its so good as it was in Abu Dhabi. It was actually same quality and very good. Location: Very nice decoration and the atmosphere was very nice too. Very clean also. Food: The food was amazing, I can’t describe it but when you have the sushi or the meat it’s an other taste. It’s very tasty, you really can feel that it’s high quality! Sushi is amazing and the meat too! Service: The service was 5/5, the guy who waitress us was very kind and helpful with the menu! Very professional too, and then we had also one guy who brought us the meat and started to chat with us that was very friendly! We really loved the service and especially how they come and talk with you and make sure everything is fine! Love it! They will open a pop up one in Germany and I am very excited to try it and see if it’s as good as in Dubai!
Without equal
Still unquestionably a must visit restaurant in Dubai. Everything about it is pretty much 10/10. Japanese style food. Great atmosphere. Superb service.

Best Japonese in Dubai
My family and I had dinner at this restaurant and it was truly DELICIOUS. We really loved the cod gyozas, the sushi, the noodles, the codfish dish, and everything we tried. The staff was also very amazing, and so available to help order the best dishes. Totally recommend it!!
The best sushi in Dubai
Everything was Excellent! The sushi was delicious; the service and place was perfect! You must taste the desserts also! I’ve had one of my best anniversaries here!
update your staff
We encountered a disgusting, rude, aggressive manager Sam. He answered questions rudely, and there was a moment when he just started yelling at us and we had a feeling that he would hit the girl..... I have never encountered anything like this in my life.
Best sushi in Dubai
Nice place. Very friendly stuff. Can go for a party or chill dinner. Love the sushi there. High class bar with amazing cocktails.
Perfect night in brilliant venue
Fantastic city, amazing venue, delicious food, perfect service! Special thank to EDA for making our night memorable. More occasions to celebrate at Zuma❤️
Absolutely Ridiculous
Was there for celebrating my 6 months anniversary. We had booked a table, but when we reached there we were probably given the worst table. We had asked the reception agent “Inna” to change our table if she may but as expected it was very challenging as we saw that that the place was indeed packed. However, when my partner checked with her again to change our table it was still not possible. My partner offered a 500 AED note, guess what happened? It was magic and we were suddenly given a table. This is absolutely ridiculous how things work. Bribery and Robbery
Sublime food - very loud environment
Decided to try Zuma in Dubai after visiting the one in London and Rome, and both the food and the service didn’t disappoint as expected. Good sized portions, food very tasty and lovely service, maybe a bit abrupt and less engaging than other Zuma restaurants, but that’s me being picky. The only reason why I don’t feel like giving 5 stars to this one is purely due to the extremely loud music being played, particularly on the upper floor, that makes it impossible to have any kind of conversation. And the presence of a smoking area, that is supposed to be outdoor, but being a patio there’s plenty of people smoking indoor too.
Fantastic experience
Nice ambiance and the food was delicious. Service is amazing.Overall Zuma is a must - visit anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience in Dubai. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Lovely ambience good food!
Lovely ambience and very spacious restaurant. Has a very nice business lunch. Starting with miso soup which was delicious the chicken skewers and prawn tempura were excellent. Griled Australian Wagyu beef was good not exceptional as it was not very tender. Sea bass was good. Overall a good experience thanks to our hostess Eda who is an asset to Zuma.
Great ambiance
Best place to hang out with friends , great ambiance very lively place , visited with friends , modern Japanese menu served with premium collection of Japanese Sake bear and whisky …
Delicious Japanese - negative points about staff and privacy
Very tasty food, good selection of excellently prepared Japanese specialities. In terms of 'food' there is really nothing to criticise. Unfortunately, the tables are placed very close to each other, so there is no privacy. You have to be aware of this when visiting zuma, as the place is always full. The service is also a bit too lax at this level. When we asked for oysters, we were told that this still had to be checked. After that, we heard nothing more. That should not happen. For these reasons 'unfortunately' only 4 out of 5 points although the food is top class.
Connect with users posting reservations for Zuma Dubai
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Zuma Dubai. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Zuma Dubai at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Zuma Dubai page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Zuma Dubai to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Zuma Dubai!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
