BOURBON STEAK Washington Reviews
Food was underwhelming, basic, and bland.
Small servings for a big price. Service was above average, but slow. We sat for over an hour before we received our first course. It was never clear who our actual waitstaff were, because random people would do different things. The ambiance was good
Great outdoor patio and excellent food
What a great place! We sat outside in the courtyard which was a treat in itself given it was October! They first brought out a complementary flight of fries and dips. OMG it was amazing. Assumed this was in lieu of bread service, but NOPE, they b

me and my friend went to Bourbon bar to have cocktails and a snack but ended up getting the house made turkey burgers and a salad because the drinks were so good. We kept ordering more and needed something to soak it up. The atmosphere is always nice

Had a work lunch at Bourbon Steak today and as always it was excellent. The Burger is one of the best, if not the best in DC and the fries are incredible. The tuna and salads for appetizers are also superb. The service is attentive, but not intrusi

Bourbon had always been one of my favorite restaurants in DC, but seems to have gone downhill. I went last night to celebrate some exciting family news. The crowd seemed like mostly tourists. The once stellar fries were cold and the truffle bread was
Really good steak, really good service for the perfect
Really good steak, really good service for the perfect combination while on vacation. Had the porterhouse and sides, all was really good, steak was excellent.
Overall ambiance is good, steaks of course are good.
A bit disappointed with the service. It wasn't fantastic or exceptional as I've experienced at other higher end restaurants. We were celebrating an event which I had mentioned yet nothing around it. I.d probably give it a 3 based on service
In The Mood For a Steak? GO!
Just fantastic! Great steaks, with a really interesting selection of Prime, Aged Prime and various A5 Wagyu choices. Perfectly cooked. The fries that are served in the beginning are outstanding (fried in duck fat, of course!). Excellent wine list
Amazing cocktails and steak.
$50 hanger was more tender than the $80 new york. both had an amazing crust and seasoning. complimentary duck fat fries for the table are a nice touch.
Worth it!
Exceptionally good food! Had the Caesar salad, NY strip, mushrooms, and bread. Friendly staff, excellent service all around!
Incredible service, as always.
I've been in the bar for drinks numerous times but this was my first time dropping by with my dog. It was a slow Monday night and they were so accommodating -- seating us a great table in the courtyard with a little more space. Our server, Danny
A standard, part of the Four Seasons.
Whether for a drink while you leak secrets to reporters or a 3rd date or grabbing a cigar on a Tuesday afternoon after having to deal with certain elected officials you can't go wrong. The staff will always take care of you Also make sure to g

Bourbon Steak is far better than Waldorf Astoria's Bazaar
We had a group of 12. The original thought was to try the Bazaar at the Waldorf Astoria however they were quite unaccommodating and only willing to do a set menu. As I was organizing the dinner, I decided to return to the Four Seasons where I have
I always enjoy the bar at Bourbon Steak in Gtown.
It's a very friendly atmosphere, fun cocktail menu, and a good bar menu. Nice setting along a wall of windows. Not cheap but a great place to grab a drink. Valet parking with validation is $30 until midnight.

So delicious!! Veryyyyy pricey but totally worth it! I had the center cut filet and it was amazing, the truffle Mac and cheese was very good and full of truffle! Service was ok, for a restaurant this top notch and this expensive they were a bit relax
Fantastic smoked cocktails
Some of the best cocktails in the DC Area. They have wonderful smoked creations. We are also a very big fan of their fries and burgers. A very nice atmosphere to have dinner and drinks.
Give me a break
OMG. This chef doesn't know the difference between phylllo dough and panko. Who fries sole? Prices$ are outrageous. $22 for a slice of apple tarte tatin? Seriously? So if you want to be super pretentious go to this place and spend $400 on cavia
Only my mom knew what I wanted before I came to the table!
Six stars for Bourbon Steak at The Four Seasons, DC. They are the only restaurant that wow me speechless when I sit down at the table. Literally. When I became a vegan a couple years ago, I called Bourbon Steak a couple days before our reservation
Overpriced and SLOW...
Overpriced, and extremely slow service. I was excited to try the DC Bourbon Steak because Ina Garten recently raved over their burger. I also have eaten at many Michael Mina restaurants when living in the Bay Area. Well, this one was a miss. First o
Ok
I am a regular client and been eating there for more than 10 years and love the place. However, today was a different experience. The French fries at the beginning was served cold. I asked them to replace which they did but came so late after the sal
Dim Drinking
We dropped in for a nightcap on a Friday evening. The good news is they have one of the more interesting cocktail menus I have seen. Lots of good and different things to try! The bad news is that it was so dark it was tough to see any menu. Service w

I knew I should've canceled the reservation when I saw that my favorite glass of wine was $84! Our food was just OK my rib cap steak no better than you could make at home. My dining partners lobster pot pie looked impressive but had too much going on
Service was fantastic but steak was very overrated.
Wouldn't recommend. Over priced and under delivered.
400 dollars for two salty steaks and a bottle of wine.
Service was amazing but the food was worse than any steak you can make at home.

Came here for a girlfriend's birthday dinner celebration.
The restaurant is inside the Four Seasons Hotel, which is nice and upscale. Our waiter, Adam, was cool, professional, and organized; however, I don't know if it was busy when we came but it took us closer to 2 hours to get our food after placing our

Everything was phenomenal! I'd eat here everytime I visit Washington DC. The steak, hamachi, salads, sides were to die for. One of the best meals I've ever had.
Bourbon Steak lived up to all the hype.
The star of the dining experience was Victoria, our sommelier. She was kind, engaging, efficacious, and passionate about wine. The service staff was attentive and gracious. The cold seafood tower was spectacular and delicious especially the shrimp, l
One of the best in DC
One of the best restaurants of Washington DC. Great Location with even better service. Food is great, starting by the breads they serve you when you arrive. I like everything about this restaurant. I will comeback.
Extraordinary experience
Celebrated our son’s birthday here and it was outstanding! Zero complaints with anything here. Everything from reception, to seating, service and food was outstanding. We look forward to returning and will be recommending without hesitation.
Excellent Thanksgiving Dinner
An excellent Thanksgiving Dinner. Fantastic food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely highly recommended.
sublime perfection
Hotel restuarants rarely live up to the advertising- however there is a fab Sous Chef here; I was in a party of 8 business persons, we all chose something different and everyone had high compliments. The presentation is good and the food is the best.
Eat Steak With The Stars.
Perched in the Washington DC Four Seasons hotel is the Bourbon Steak restaurant as an ode to the American steakhouse experience. Of course the menu is heavy on the meat side but add to that a catalog of inventive cocktails as well as menu items made
A very good option in DC
Very good steaks (although not surprisingly pricey), and there are some Japanese wagyu options (but after having lots of beef in Japan I'd stay stick with going to Tokyo for proper wagyu experiences). Service was very good. Overall decor is fairly

First time visit
Had an opportunity to eat at Bourbon Steak DC and it was absolutely delightful. Our server Danwel was very attentive and extremely helpful. Our filets were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Thank you so much for a great night.

I'll just get straight to the point this place is over priced and underwhelming. Our lamb, salmon and halibut were all under seasoned. The two steaks we ordered were not cooked to the requested temperature and after sending back you just got a super
It had been awhile since I had dined at Bourbon Steak.
So when a friend asked for me to make reservations for a last minute bday dinner I was happy to see that Bourbon Steak had availability on a busy Saturday night. Our server was incredibly nice and despite a few mix-ups with our order, she was extreme
Why this place doesn't have a Michelin Star, I don't know.
We've dined at six Michelin Star restaurants in the DMV, and this meets or exceeds the experience we had there.Ambiance - Beautiful! Located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, you pass through the lobby, ornate art pieces, and a fresh flowe
I've eaten at the restaurant twice in the last few months.
I also have had two cancellations in the last few months. In December, I had a reservation for 6 people that was confirmed months in advance. I was called a day prior to be told the time did not work for the restaurant. Yesterday I received a call
Woohoo! Our experience here was perfect.
From the complimentary, warm truffle butter rolls and duck fat fries to the oysters Rockefeller and all of the steaks... bravo! The serve was excellent. Ambiance, nice.
