My wife and I came here for the flamenco dancing on our first night in Madrid because it was recommended to us by our hotel concierge (Gran Hotel Ingles - highly recommended). I'm very glad they encouraged us to go here rather than the place right near the hotel (which was advertised all over, notably by people handing out flyers on the sidewalks). The dancing was excellent and the show was very entertaining. If you're expecting Moulin Rouge, it's not that kind of a show. The dancing can be more subtle - sometimes just movement of the feet while the body stays motionless - but it's no less enthralling. We attended the 6:30pm show which allowed for about an hour or so for dinner to be served before the show began. Now for the food - this was very good. My sirloin was cooked perfectly and very tender and juicy. My wife had fish, which was good but not as delicious as my steak. The dessert, however, was the highlight of the meal. Our concierge had specifically recommended trying a dish that was described as french toast with ice cream. It's called "Torrija Caramelizada en Leche Fresca con Helado de Platano" and it's amazing! We spent the rest of our time in Madrid trying to find another restaurant that featured this dessert on the menu. If you like french toast or bread pudding, it's kind of a combination of the two. We split one order between the two of us, but would have loved to have one each. The best part of the evening was our very attentive and entertaining server (Jorge, if I recall correctly). He was friendly and made sure he never overlooked our needs, despite having two large groups on either side of our table to serve. He helped make the night memorable and special for us. Last, my wife was very happy to snag a photo with one of the dancers after the show. Overall, a very fun evening! Definitely make this a stop if you're in Madrid for any length of time.
