A good experience!
I had not been to this Restaurant for 3 or 4 years, which is a reference in Palencia. The food continues to be good, although I have the feeling that the prices have risen in inverse proportion to the quantity served on the plates... Garlic soups for appetizers, 10 tigers; mushroom stew, a little dish that is delicious but is missing something, low temperature egg perhaps?; the usual beans, in my opinion, excessively soft; and the grilled monkfish, a light fish, with some delicious vegetables, but somewhat boring and after all this, you are still hungry. Desserts, coffee cream and custard, excellent.
A more than justified visit
We had good references, but the reality has been better. We tried the croquettes, very good, the oyster mushrooms (very tasty) and the senderuela scrambled eggs (exceptional). The tripe are very good and the partridge in sauce is one of the best I remember in recent years, of the highest level, excellent. After that there was no room for dessert. Good selection of wines and attention and service that shows the permanent supervision of the property. Highly, highly recommended

One of the best restaurants we have in the province, they take care of the product in our case we enjoyed a wonderful mullet along with some unbeatable chanterelles with yolk, to all that added to a cozy atmosphere and excellent service it is worth visiting
The Submarine and the star.
A submarine was going down the Carrión River and ran aground in Villoldo. In that crew there was a goblin in the kitchen. This landing and walking next to a magnolia tree, he fell asleep. At midnight a clear, white light woke him up. It was the star that woke him up. With so much charm that you could eat there a thousand times. Family restaurant in which they give you the usual dishes with a high quality product. The tomatoes from their garden are delicious, the first tickets of the season are excellent, the sweet and exquisite beef tail and a quality grilled meat. Great winery and good service. Restaurant from before
We ate with some family members and I personally liked it a lot, it has a small terrace at the entrance perfect to enjoy a vermouth but there is no bar and a large dining room, the decoration is simple but pleasant, the tables are widely distributed, the service is efficient and Very nice, it looks like it is a family restaurant. The style of food is traditional with modern touches. We ate a series of portions to share and one dish each. All the dishes were extraordinary and the dishes are all homemade and very original. It's not cheap but it's worth treating yourself from time to time.
They don't want us as clients
It seems that if you are not from the Palencia nobility you are not up to the standard of their establishment and the treatment leaves a lot to be desired by a certain part of the team, it was the second time we went and the first time it already gave us that feeling, but we ate very well and that is why we repeat. We arrived early, around 2:00 p.m., and there was only one large table seated, they put us at the worst table in the restaurant, where they put the tableware services to change, we kindly asked if they could move us to one of the tables that faced the On the street there were about ten vacancies and they told us that it was impossible to place them according to reservations, we accepted and that was it, but the treatment of other clients was not the same. Regarding the food, there is nothing to object to in terms of quality and preparation, everything was good or very good, another thing is the exorbitant price of some dishes, we ordered a scorpionfish which they told us was to share, it did not reach a kilo by far and its price was €60, which as it was off the menu we were not informed, everything we ate was expensive for the quantities, except the desserts, they were delicious and at a normal price currently. The last straw was the individual who levitated around the room because of how much he loved himself and performed the tasks of sommelier, the wines on the normal menu were at exorbitant prices, wines that in any other restaurant are around 35-40 € in this €50-€60, and then at the end of the menu they had a section like special wines, almost all with the price to consult, I ordered one that they had marked at €75, Pagos de Santa Cruz and coincidentally they had run out , we must not have had the high class to enjoy it, then I asked for Dominio de Atauta and the price he gave me was €70 because it was an old vintage. Upon hearing that disproportionate price I opted for El Nogal de Pago de los Capellanes that they had. €45 and when he brought it he told us that they had to charge us a little more because the vintage was also old, this has not happened to me in any restaurant, he gave us €10 more by modifying the name of the wine, sorry if you don't have Updated letter is your problem and your job, we should have gotten up, but out of politeness we didn't. To make matters worse, they charged us for a bottle of water that we didn't drink because they must put it by default and for two pieces of bread at €2.5 each, unfortunate. It is clear that these gentlemen do not want us as clients and we will have to give them the pleasure.
Quality restaurant but paradoxically unfriendly staff
Very good typical products from the region of Castile and Leon The restaurant is located in a village a little lost in deep Spain The dishes are tasty, particularly the boletus revuelto but the portions are not abundant; which is not common in the region On the other hand, we were very disappointed by the service which was quite pretentious, cold and unfriendly. We asked the waiter to take a group photo for us, which he refused due to lack of time. In short, mixed, we have known this establishment for a long time It had been 3 or 4 years since we last came But we're not sure we'll come back There is a lot of effort to be made regarding welcoming and friendliness towards customers

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
