Worth the visit without question
Fantastic food. Fabulous service. Alex was outstanding with her service Great atmosphere. Toilets immaculate. Restaurant was a great venue. Will definitely be dining again
Nice but if you have nut allergies check they haven't put nuts on your food!!
We came here on the 12th May with family to celebrate an anniversary. We were greated with pleasant smiles shown to our seat. All was good. We then ordered drinks,which took its time to come. Then we order food. Again with each course it seemed to be getting longer and longer between each one. One meal was wrong and my sister in law got blamed for pointing at the wrong thing even though she never. She got a complementary drink as she then had to wait. Now for the real reason for my low mark. We were asked if any one had alleries to which my husband said yes nuts. He hates having to tell people because he hates the fuss. All was ok till we got our desserts. He got icecream and in the bowl with the icecream was a pistachio biscuit. Thank god he didn't eat it as he was told it was all nut free. The waitress took his name and email address and guess what a week later haven't heard a single thing. I'm very disappointed that we haven't heard from anyone. No manager came over while we there again disappointing. Yes he is ok but still it could have been alot worse if he'd have ate the biscuit with out looking at it. Luckily he's not as bad as some people but this might have been the time that it could have seriously hurt him if not death as he doenst normally need a epi pen. What is the point of asking people if they have allergies if your staff aren't going to double check all the food. It's a shame as alot of the food was nice and it's a nice restaurant but there is also a lot that can be improved!!
Perfect pasta and friendly service
Thursday afternoon I popped in to grab a plate and a glass of wine. I had the king prawn fettuccini and a glass of sauvignon and they were absolutely perfect! The pasta was perfectly "al dente", the pesto was fresh and prawn perfectly grilled. My service from Jasmin and Salvador was also top notch with speedy delivery and rightly timed check backs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a premium Italian dinner experience!
Great Italian food
Fabulous Italian food. Great service. Wine and cocktails were good too. Alex was a very good server, friendly and cheerful.
Evening dinner and sunset in sky bar
Chloe and Sal gave us first class attention - and the gentlemen upstairs in the Sky Bar were so attentively and also welcoming! (Ps loved the little touches: sunscreen available to use as was 23c that day) Wonderful evening, fabulous setting and staff - a must do!
Poor service
I visited the restaurant due to staying at the hotel with work so it was convenient to go down to level 1 for dinner. I was waiting to be greeted at the front desk for 7 minutes of which multiple floor staff glanced over and could’ve helped their colleague who was tied up with a customer query about a future booking. I was seated by the manager and in fairness ordered a drink fairly quickly. The manager then came back and offered to get me a tap water which never actually materialised but was marked on the table bill - I would’ve appreciated it due to the length of time I was waiting in total. My starter (gamberoni fritti) arrived about 20 minutes in which is normal and was very tasty so hats off to the chef. Once finished the real problems started. The table in front of me (party of 6) were getting antsy. There was a 45 minute wait for my main and they’d been waiting nearly an hour for their food and with small children this definitely isn’t ideal. No one checked back to ask me if I wanted any further drinks or ask how my food was, I would’ve really appreciated another drink! I had finished my main and paid for the bill by the time the table in front of me had been served their food. The staff seemed to avoid the table as long as they could until the gentleman confronted the manager about it. Whilst paying my bill, the gentleman asked for cutlery from the waitress and she dismissed him rolling her eyes saying she was busy with another customer- I was utterly shocked! If I was him I’d have walked out there and then. It takes two seconds to beckon someone over to help. Having worked in the food industry for many years you should make each and every customer feel valued. If you can’t serve them, ask another colleague to come over and help and at least pretend to like your job. It was only a Monday evening so there shouldn’t be any excuses for poor service as it wasn’t a busy Saturday. The attitude of the staff and poor customer service has put me off returning and I won’t be visiting the Newcastle restaurant which is my local Gino restaurant. Had the service been to the same standard as the food, I would be recommending it all day long.

The staff were fantastic the starters were very good but the main course was not so good the steak and chips. The chips were frozen chips and the steak was nice but just nice in what should be a top restaurant the chips should not be frozen chips and when your £40 for steak it should be really good had a lot cheaper steak the day before in different restaurant and it was fantastic.

All the staff were amazing, very friendly, went above and beyond. Service very quick and efficient. Served with a smile!
Dinner experience
Amazing food, service and vibe all evening! All staff were so attentive, thanks to Sal and Amy for the brilliant service all evening. Highly recommend the prawn pesto fettuccine. 5⭐️

Lovely experience in the restaurant for dinner, drinks and dessert! Sal looked after us for the evening, making sure we had a good time and enjoyed everything we ordered. I ordered the prawn fettuccine and it was delicious, will definitely be back very soon!
