I-naba Honolulu Reviews from The Last Year
I got the scallop/salmon roe/sea urchin bowl with kake soba.
We also got Hana soba and a whole eel tempura. Everything was delicious and service was great. Will be returning!
Casual spot with authentic Japanese cuisine.
Healthy eats so you don't feel guilty stuffing your face.

I'm obsessed with I-naba! I visit Honolulu often, and try to go to I-naba every time. :) Yes, there are many places that you can get soba, but nowhere that has this much variety of types/toppings and then also so many tempura options! They also have "make your own soba" so you can choose cold or hot broth and then just pay for each add on such as natto, fried mochi, grated yam, wakame, etc. Love it (especially the fried mochi!). They also show some possible combinations in the menu. For tempura, I love getting the chicken w/ shiso leaf and ume. So unique and tasty if you're a fan of shiso and ume. Lots of other choices to choose from which is awesome! Lunch menu offers sets while dinner menu has a bit more items (seafood, etc.). They do take reservations but it's relatively small so can get full quickly. If you are one person and walk-in on the earlier side of dinner, you can usually sit at the counter without a wait.

I was on the search for cold dipping soba and was so glad I stumbled upon this place! The restaurant itself isn't too big. When you walk in, there's bar/counter seating and maybe a few tables on the side. We came for lunch and there was only one other party at the bar and another at a table. I ordered the tempura soba. This was my first time having cold soba at a restaurant and it was so delightful! The noodles were perfectly cooked. The strips of seaweed added a nice saltiness. The cold dipping broth had just the right amount of soy mixed in a dashi/tsuyu broth and clung to the noodles. Adding a touch of wasabi to each bite gave an exciting mouth feel. The tempura shrimp was lightly battered and paired well with the tempura sauce. It was a nice contrast to the cold soba. My partner got the chirashi bowl and each piece of sashimi was so fresh! When you sit at the counter, you can see the chefs careful slicing the fish and how smooth each one looked. Recently I discovered I could get this back on the mainland in Torrance! If you love soba noodles, then come check this place out!

I-naba, as well as Shun & Shinsuke's Inaba Hanalei, are top notch for food & service!

We were able to get a seat without a reservation on a Friday right when they opened at 5. They were super friendly and accommodating to our toddler - he got his own utensils (and plenty of replacements when he dropped them on the floor). And the food was DELICIOUS! Would definitely go again :)
I'm going to be honest.
.. this place isn't bad, a bit expensive. But a nice place to eat dinner. The parking kinda sucks only cause you have to share the parking with a few businesses around the area.. but when their clients act like they OWN THE PARKING LOT... it really turns me off. Wanted to come here for dinner with a few friends. But instead this older couple decided to STAND IN A STALL I WAS GOING TO PARK IN... and told me to park somewhere else... and they were waiting for their friend who was in a car BEHIND ME... HOW RUDE!!! So we decided to go else where. Who the hell does this these days? Why? Just cause they drive a Porsche? I HIGHLY suggest go somewhere else that services better food with better parking
Craving soba? Definitely head out to I-Naba! Soba is
Craving soba? Definitely head out to I-Naba! Soba is toothsome and seafood is fresh. I tried the duck nanban soba and the broth was delicious. Savory with lots of umami but not fatty. Tempura was crispy and eased that fried food craving I had. I also tried the gyudon which was also flavorful and not too salty. (Not in the same visit!) I did like the duck better. They also serve the hot water the soba was boiled in to add to your leftover dipping sauce from your zaru soba (the cold one). Apparently it has a lot of nutrients and is a healthful drink. Ice cream tempura are three cute little balls. I must admit, I did want a bigger serving. Next time I'm not sharing. Heh. The yuzu sorbet was tart and refreshing. The adzuki ice cream was very subtly flavored. It tasted good, but if you want a strong adzuki taste you may be disappointed. They have a tiny parking lot that is shared by the other businesses, which includes Baskin & Robins. So go for an early or late lunch/dinner unless you have the parking mojo. Small but comfortable space. It has that casual neighborhood restaurant feel to it. Service is quick and the servers are really nice and patient when you need them to explain things. Bonus is they have their own bathroom in the restaurant so it's not a shared strip mall bathroom.
oishii! Some friends and I gathered last month at I-NABA
oishii! Some friends and I gathered last month at I-NABA to catch up, and to continue our dining journey of trying new places (or at least restaurants we've never dined at before). NOTES 1. Reservations taken. Thankfully, our friend had the thought to make one for our group of 5. 2. Small parking lot. Adding to the already challenged parking situation, the restaurant shares the lot with Baskin Robbins (which proved to be a popular dessert destination that night). 3. BYOB. As I've already mentioned, the parking lot is not large, and ironically the restaurant complements the lot quite well. Its definitely smaller than I expected it to be. There are 2 main rooms for dining, we were seated in the room to the left of the entrance. In this particular room, there are tables, as well as "counter seating" at what looks to be a former sushi preparation area. The restroom (single use/stall) is also adjacent to this room. When I first looked thru the menu, I found it slightly overwhelming. There were so many different items/choices, and when one is hungry (as I was) everything looks very appetizing. In the end, I chose the curry soba, while my dining companions each ordered a meal set. I also shared the tuna roll and the pork kakuni appetizers with my tablemates. The food was delivered in a timely manner....and what can I say, we slurped every last morsel of soba noodles in our bowls. The noodles were outstanding, simply put. Honorable mention for the meal is awarded to the pork kakuni. Very tender indeed. The tempura ice cream was "ok". We considered it a dessert appetizer before the main scoop at the Baskin Robbins across the parking lot. SERVICE Very attentive and polite overall. Our main server was a polite young woman who was friendly and patient. She and her fellow servers worked well together to attend to all the guests in our dining area. Some of the finest teamwork I've observed in a restaurant setting. BOTTOM LINE Tabemono wa totemo oishidesu!
Ate lunch here, 2 people, no alcohol, $105 with tip.
Not worth it! My guest had the Zaru Soba Uni Bowl $38. I had the Zaru Bara Chirashi Bowl $28. I also ordered a side of large assorted Tempura $18. The dish comes with 5 little pieces of pickled daikon and 7 soy beans pods and does not come with any miso soup. The fish in my bowl was diced up so small I could barely pick it up wut my chopsticks. Most of my bowl was rice. The side shrimp tempura came with 2 little shrimps and the rest is tempura'd vegetables. We both ate everything on the plate and I was still hungry after we left. Not a good value at all! There's better Japanese restaurants in Honolulu. Don't waste your money here. Service was non-existent. Had to ask for water, a bottle opener and an extra glass, twice. Never got the extra glass. Had to wait 15 minutes to get in. Not sure why as it wasn't worth the waParking is limited and shared with several other businesses including Baskin Robins.
Got the tempura platter, uni/ikura soba, and green tea
Got the tempura platter, uni/ikura soba, and green tea cheese cake Food was delicious and brought out quickly despite the restaurant being pretty busy. Friendly service and convenient parking as well. Would definitely come here again.
Wow you will feel like you are in Japan, reservations are a must!
You walk into the little unassuming place and you are transported to a different world and you will like it. When we went the place was full of locals who knew where to go for Japanese comfort foods. Everything is just so and there is a wonderful selection of things. The sushi is only on the weekends. Everything is very fresh and tasty, served as you would be in Japan. This is the real deal. We were told to expect a wait so we went at lunch but we were warned at dinner you MUST have a reservation. It's a small spot crammed with tables and people who appreciate the authenticity of the whole experience. Recommended.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.

Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here

perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
