Las Teresas Sevilla Reviews from The Last Year
AVERAGE
Decent welcome, nothing more, decent tapas, nothing more than decent prices, in short, a decent restaurant aimed at tourists.
Don't waste your time and money!!!
Very quirky tapas bar situated on a lovely back street near the cathedral. Unfortunately the staff are what let's this restaurant down. They are rude and hostile and service is as poor as iv ever encountered in a restaurant. Sevilla is a friendly city with plenty of friendly restaurants that will welcome you in.
Terrible service left us disappointed
Initial impressions were positive although it rapidly became apparent that the restaurant was somewhat understaffed. Getting the order placed took some time, the wine came quickly but after 30 minutes of waiting for our food, we realised that other tables were getting their food much quicker than us despite coming in after us. It was nigh on impossible to attract the attention of the waiting staff and when we did they brought the food out and literally threw it down on the table with no apology (clearly they had not put our order through to the kitchen). By this time we had waited more than an hour for our food and even at that we were not given everything that we had ordered although admittedly by this time we didn’t really want it. In summary the food was ok but the service was terrible. There are plenty of good restaurants in Seville so my advice would be to avoid this one at all costs.
Typical tapas bar
In the middle of a maze of small typical Andalusian streets, fast, not too expensive tapas bar. For us truly representative of this type of establishment
Typical tapas!
You can eat tapas here in a typical Seville alley. The service is efficient and friendly. The tapas are good and the prices affordable. You will certainly be called out to by flamenco “singers” who pass from terrace to terrace and who call out to you insistently. Not very nice.
Absolute rubbish
We thought the restaurant looked nice and it was very busy which indicated to us that it was popular. Finally got a table outside. The first waiter came up and didn’t acknowledge us as he cleared the table and had a conversation with a waiter from the next door cafe for 5 mins. We ordered a couple of plonks and some tapas. After about 15 mins another waiter came up and shoved a cheese/meat plate on the table and walked off - not what we had ordered. We couldn’t get another waiters attention to let them know we had the wrong order. Then another waiter came up and banged down some mushroom tapaswhich we also hadn’t ordered. We finally got the attention of yet another waiter to let him know the order was completely wrong. Finally left after giving up and we never got our original order. Perhaps we should have read some of the crap reviews of this place before we went. Seriously, give it a miss as its chaos.
Below average restaurant
4 of us went to this place hoping to have a good dinner In the others of Seville Pork ribs didn't happen Without meat Tasteless fried cod fillets The fried anchovies are as good as the tuna But small quantity Not recommended for tourists, there are many other better places
Good tapas
Tapas was great - although it took some time for our order to be taken. However its a must visit - very authentic food and great Sangria
Andulucian Quality
We stayed around the corner in a hotel and called at this bar every day , the staff were excellent and went out of their way to show us the different types of wine available. We also had various tapas dishes all excellent, we're returning in May to Seville and are looking forward to returning to the bar.
Sadly disappointing.
I rarely leave a review. Yes this was very disappointing. We waited 55 minutes for food even having gone inside twice to ask where it was. We had only ordered 3 tapas dishes. The food was fine but the portion sizes were small. 2 grilled mushrooms for €4 seemed a bit tight. Not sure if the wait made it feel worse than it was.
Delicious! Was referred to this gem from the hotel
Delicious! Was referred to this gem from the hotel concierge and it was awesome. Great service and as a large group we ordered a plethora of tapas. Highly recommend the Kobe beef, fried squid and ribs, all were great!
Stumbled into this place for lunch and left pleasantly
Stumbled into this place for lunch and left pleasantly surprised. Quaint little spot in a great location of the city. Tapas were great, whereas the sangria was average. I would recommend the kobe beef, fried squid, and the asparagus. The service was also excellent. What's holding this restaurant back from a 5 star review was my dates experience with the toilet following the tapas. They were delicious going down but vicious coming back out. Overall great spot, would recommend.
