Porto By Antonio Fairview Reviews from The Last Year
Authentic Italian Restaurant.
The pasta is home-made and is done very well and the pizza is Napoletana style. The service is great and the waiter and waitress and very friendly and professional. The only place in the area where an Italian enjoys eating Italian food and pizza.
The meal was outstanding.
Best I have had outside Italy. Somewhat loud, but not so much as to compete with that fabulous meal. The service was excellent. I have never seen a table cleaner than the one we were seated at. If you have never been to Porto, go asap!

This place is **chefs kiss** Hidden in the middle of Edgewater, this place truly is a gem. The service is top notch and food is amazingly delicious, especially the honey pizza
This restaurant does not honor reservations.
Open table also ask for credit card for teservations. Why bother. So dont bother to go there because they dont honor it. People travel from far but they have no respect for customers.

great food.
great service. been there atleast 5 times. never disappointed. can't wait to go back.
Not a fan of the staff or owner.
Everyone seems to be rude and it's off putting. That being said it is a romantic spot for a date and the food is good, but very on the pricey side and parking in the area sucks.
Love coming here for Italian wine and pasta.
The pizza is consistently great. Service always exceeds expectations
Nice interior but it is small - definitely recommend
Nice interior but it is small - definitely recommend reservations. Service was good. We started with an arugula salad which has poached pears, blue cheese and walnuts. The arugula was well dressed but it felt like the cheese and walnuts were so finely chopped you didn't get to taste them. Also, the pears tasted like canned beets. We tried 2 pizza's - classic margherita with pepperoni which was good and La Montanara which is a fried pizza which I found very lacking in flavor. I did not like the fried pizza at all. We had the nutella zeppoles which were also good. I was in between a 3 and 4 stars for this restaurant but went with the 3 because I probably wouldn't go back. I am a tough grader on salads.
First review of the new year and this place did not
First review of the new year and this place did not disappoint. I randomly added this restaurant to my must eats and I am so glad that I did. The restaurant has classic yet sophisticated upscale ambiance. Service was impeccable and the food....creative, flavorful, authentic, left me wanting to order more just because! We started off with amazing cocktails: Aperol Spritz & the Picante. Appetizer, we tried their Melanzana Stack and Pizza: Proscuitto E Arugula! Reservations are highly recommended because the restaurant is on the smaller side but it is worth the wait!
Food here was really delicious and made me curious to come
Food here was really delicious and made me curious to come back and try their other dishes. To start we got the Vesuvio pizza which is stuffed with ricotta and soppressata. I loved the texture and fluffiness of their crust but couldnt really taste the cheese or sauce or soppressata. I would maybe try another pizza. Pastas: we got the pesto pappardelle which was the star of the night. Pesto was so delicious and not too overwhelming. Even non pesto lovers ate this dish up. Next was the gnocchi alla sorrentina. Basically gnocchi in red sauce and cheese. Texture of gnocchi was really nice and soft, not floury at all but, flavors were pretty basic. wouldnt get again. Lastly we got the spaghetti carbonara which almost tied for first place. it was so creamy and rich. Noodles were PERFECTLY cooked and had the perfect amount chew making it so much fun to eat. The dish did get a bit sickening halfway through due to how rich it was. Dessert Tiramisu was surprisingly soooo good. I havent had a tiramisu that uses lady fingers that I liked but this one was addicting. The cream layers were so thick and it had the perfect coffee taste. The panna cotta on the other hand...not the greatest. It was their dessert of the week so I gave it a try but it was a bit bland without much sweetness and had a very oily layer on top. Maybe skip that one? Overall the staff was super friendly and ambiance was perfect for a celebratory night.
