Disappointment
Disappointment, we booked with a smartbox and quickly saw that it was disturbing. The menu is imposed with a minimum of choice. And if you are unfortunate enough to ask for a change, you will be charged almost the price of the dish! Really if you have a smartbox go elsewhere you will be disappointed..
Very good gourmet meal
Very courteous staff. Refined and gourmet meal. 2 choices of starter and 2 choices of main course Fresh and fine dessert Just one small downside independent of the meal: the location of the restaurant (this restaurant would have deserved a more prestigious location).
Disappointed
We booked with a smartbox voucher: Perfect welcome and service. I won't say the same about the cuisine: the main course (tuna on a bed of spelled in tomato sauce) was particularly ordinary, without any particular flavor or originality. I made the remark when leaving the restaurant: I was told that it could be "normal on small menus". It's a shame because for a restaurant discovery it's a real disappointment. Dessert was good.
A mixed feeling
The gastronomic intention encouraged us to come. There is work and quality, but the dishes lack depth, flavor and richness. Let's leave aside quantity, measured by definition, but diversity is lacking, like generosity. The environment is not convincing, despite good intentions. Defrosted bread indicates a lack of attendance which partly explains the limited, constrained choices. Like overcooking. Catering is definitely a difficult profession, especially for those who claim quality. Still, the value for money is not up to par. Let us hope that higher attendance will give the establishment the means to achieve its ambition.

A little disappointed with the kitchen. The welcome and service is pleasant and professional. The room, although small and narrow, remains comfortable, however: the price is a little prohibitive compared to the composition of the menu (115th) The cooking is not controlled despite some research in the preparation of the plates. It's a shame The foie gras was not deveined as it should be and lacked cooking. The beef was very tough despite being cooked correctly. On the other hand, we were treated to the beginning slice of the roast, one centimeter thick, for each of the two place settings on the table. I find this simply abnormal and inexcusable for a semi-gastronomic restaurant. I find it difficult to form a concise idea, because my first experience in this establishment did not live up to my expectations, especially since we are not in peak season and I felt a certain overflow in kitchen. Very bad experience despite fairly decent cuisine. We called to reserve a table, a lady answered and told us that yes she had space, then we added that we were coming with a SmartBox voucher. There, the lady's tone immediately changed and she told us ok, come on, however, we will make you a meal exactly as we decided. We arrived there and immediately the lady said loudly: “Ah, are you the people from the SmartBox? » We said yes, she absolutely neither took our things nor guided us, she told us, go and sit over there in the corner while we are in a “high-end” restaurant according to this lady. Already we found it not very correct but hey it doesn't matter. We explained to him that we were people from Antibes and that this SmartBox was nice because it allowed us to discover a new restaurant that we didn't know. The lady still remained very cold. They brought us 2 glasses of champagne, which wasn't great by the way, and as I don't like champagne I asked for a whiskey and straight away they told me: "be careful will be charged additionally! » Yes of course I understand that it is charged extra, it's normal, no need to tell me in a haughty and loud tone so that everyone can hear. So from the start we were very uncomfortable. The waiter was still more friendly than this woman and tried to be polite with us. We had a meal already decided by the restaurant, fortunately we like fish because we had no choice but to have fish and nothing else, period! We had a small appetizer which wasn't bad then we had a starter with herring which is still quite a strong fish and which not everyone particularly likes but it doesn't matter we ate given the very small quantity there was, we were able to make the effort. Then we had a piece of Saint Pierre with a little lobster bisque sauce, it wasn't bad but nothing fabulous, especially since the Saint Pierre was a frozen fillet and then a little dessert, not bad at all, with lemon ice cream, 2 raspberries and a piece of crushed biscuits at the bottom. There were 3 tables next to us with 3 couples who would have been very well received it was raining a lot so the lady took their jackets to hang on a coat rack and dry them the other people were allowed 2 people to the service finally completely different from us we had the impression of being people who came to enjoy a free meal when not at all this meal was offered to us by my mother-in-law for our wedding anniversary. We took an extra 2 glasses of basic white chardonnay, really just a base glass at €18 a glass! If this restaurant does not want to make a good SmartBox it is still much better not to do so because then we will never set foot in this restaurant again and of course we will not advertise for them period It was the most humiliating meal I've ever had in my life. So of course I do not recommend this restaurant
Bad experience
This restaurant, which aims to be of high taste quality with a high culinary level, cannot claim to be up to the standard of a gourmet restaurant - this for various reasons = the dishes are correct, light……. Not transcendent either...but then it is above all also for the customer's welcome that this does not follow at all - never show up at their home with a Smart Invitation Box -- you will be received like beggars and unwelcome -- we leaves you no choice for the composition of your meal - if you do not eat fish no other possible alternative - and you cannot claim to be well served either - So in summary, there are many other restaurants of a much higher level waiting for you and who will be more welcoming and professional —- Very upset and disappointed — Too bad!!!

Very good restaurant, with inventive, seasonal, very appetizing cuisine! With the addition of very warm and very competent service on the wine list. We had a great time!
A bit disappointed
Three of us went there for a dinner. While the service was good, we were a bit disappointed by the food. Neither the amuse-bouche a kind of pumpkin soup nor the main course, a tuna steak, part of the menu, were convincing. The first course and dessert were good but would not compensate. I hope that it was a one-off experience.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
