The brisket was decent but sliced too thick, and the sausage was pretty good! I had the Mac n cheese which is meh, but the cream corn and the cornbread are left! Service was good too! I also came back in the morning to have the brisket burrito and it's good! Worth the trip!

Coming from Texas and living in Colorado there's not many places as good as Smōk! The brisket and burnt ends are the way to go! The fried okra and baked beans are phenomenal! Great sauces and house made hot sauce too!

I'll preface by saying that the breakfast burritos and the brisket quesadilla are very good. Have not tried the sides. Outermost layer on ribs had good bark and color, flavorful. Inner layers were just not as well rendered, tough, chewy (almost dry). Not sure if was just an off-day or as a result of carry-out. BBQ sauce tasted vinegar-forward. Sausage didn't have as much smoke or jalapeno flavor as I expected. But having lived in KC and Texas, it's not quite on that level for all items. Might be a place to be revisit but be more selective on what you order.
Finally had a chance to catch Bill (owner) and chat.
Tried 2 new things today! Breakfast sandwich + off menu jerk wings soon to be on menu. First and foremost that's the most flavorful flakey biscuit in town! Secondly it's the size of both my fists combined lol that sandwich is not for the faint of heart. ITS A BIG ASS sandwich so come hungry. Jerk wings were so damn spectacular with that underlying Jamaican spice! Excited for it to become the people's choice. Ambiance was low key and amazing!
Loved everything about smok except for the price.
Food was excellent- we had the chopped brisket sandwich with sweet potato tots, and everything was delicious and interesting. Servers, especially the gentleman at the bar (Conner?) were all super friendly and funny. Loved the industrial feel of the interior! Overall, our experience was excellent and I would be back.

Been to this place several times and tried a variety of things. The salmon sandwich was amazing and I'm obsessed with the fries. The only side I'd pass on is the coleslaw
Manager kicked us out from restraunt seating at closing.
Was extremely hostile and negative towards us. food was cold and extremely salty. fire your manager. manager was on shift 3/12/2024
This spot got some pretty good BBQ.
They got plenty of garage parking and the first hour was free, which always a plus. Arrived here and enjoyed the ambiance, it was bright and vibrant. They also have a little bar that grab drinks with your amazing barbeque. This spot is also an open kitchen so you can see the amazing chefs prepare your meal. It's an open counter service, so you order upfront at the table and you get your own waters. I came here a large group of people so we gon get some options. We got a pound of Smoked Pork Belly, a pound of brisket, smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage, burnt ends, with some sides of creamed corn, mac and cheese, and cheddar jalapeno corn bread. Smoked Pork Belly: One of the main items we got, pork belly was tender to the bite. Nice aroma from the smokiness. Definitely a must get item. Brisket: Another amazing item, one of the stars of the show. It was soft and delicate, melts in your mouth. A must get! Smoke Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage: Good flavor of all components, got a good bite to it. Burnt Ends: Solid burnt ends. Some pieces were juicy, while some of them were on the dryer side. Some bites were pretty difficult to chew which wasn't the best, but it was tolerable. Creamed Corn: It was alright, nice creaminess to it. Practically a Mexican elote. Mac and Cheese: My absolute favorite. The pasta is firm to each bite with a thick cheese sauce to it. One of the best sides they got to offer for sure. Cheddar Jalapeno Corn Bread: Good flavor to it, this aint no regular corn bread. Corn bread to me is something that is standard and alright, but these were nothing of alright. These were spectacular. Overall, Smok's Barbeque is an amazing barbeque spot with immaculate vibes and service. I don't always get American BBQ, so coming here was a real treat for me. This is a hella good spot and definitely come through to this fine establishment, I know I will whenever I get the chance to be back in Denver.
The spot is fun being in the source hotel.
Small bar area but was able to grab a seat. The bartender was not friendly at all and in-fact looked to hate his job- didn't greet me and I had to ask to order something which felt like an inconvenience for him, it wasn't busy so this was surprising. The burnt ends were decent for denver BBQ. The pickles, coleslaw and BBQ sauce were amazing!!! I would go back and get a different cut of meat and maybe order to go.
Seriously one of the best bbq places I have had in Denver.
Let me start off by saying I NEVER get Mac and cheese because I'm not a fan and OMG it was INCREDIBLE!!!! It was so rich but not overly rich. 10/10 will order again. The potato salad was my favorite but I'm biased I love potato salad. I liked the fresh bits of bacon on top. The meat was a challenge for me. I didn't know what 1/4 pound meant and I would have ordered more since my husband daughter and I shared. Only 2 ribs I wish I knew I would have done a bigger size but that wasn't specified. The brisket was incredible and the ribs fell off the bone. I did not enjoy the pork shoulder but that could just be me it wasn't bad it just wasn't what I wanted in the moment.
