Our Anniversary spot!
FIVE+++++++ Food is amazing, service is the friendliest anywhere and the ambience is relaxing! We go there every year for our Anniversary and have enjoyed every meal! We look forward to it all winter. We found it accidentally and the name was intriguing for me as my Dad loved owls. I would have loved to have been able to take him there. Go and enjoy. You, too, will make it a favorite place. Sam & Donna Parfitt Enosburg Falls, Vt.
Be the first to ReplyA must dinner spot
The drinks and food are awesome! Especially the beets salad😍. I would recommend everyone to go there for dinner if you are in the area.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful, flavorful experience!
My husband and I joined another couple at the Owl last Friday night. We were greeted quickly and had drinks within minutes. Their specialty margarita and the "mark"tini are fantastic!! The two appetizers we ordered were delish, the mussels came with plenty to share! Entrees came soon after, all were hot and just as described, and just delicious! The steak was perfectly done, and fish tender and juicy. The Ow's Tuscan Cousin was amazing, and portion generous. Our server was friendly and helpful offering pairings of wine with our dinners- definitely a 5/5 for us, we will be back!!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing - has gone downhill
Disappointing. I used to go to Owl at Twilight when it was run by the previous owner /chef. It was supurb then - elegant, friendly, welcoming, with supurb food and presentation, Has gone steadily downhill under the new management /owner. Here's a summary of our meal: Appetizers: Gaspacho excellent; Cauliflower sauces barely passable, although the cauliflower itself was good; scallops excellent. Mains: chicken Putenesco awful; Seafood Stew barely passable-- ok seafood, too much rice, very little broth -- cloying, heavy (this dish was created by the original owner /chef and was a standout then -- now a great disappointment); Osso Buco not very good. Portions are so huge it feels disgusting! Ambiance used to be calm, very friendly and elegant. Now rough, abrupt, frantic. Our waitress was good, the rest of the service very poor - staff seemed untrained (stacked a large pile of dirty dishes right in front of one of our party; one dish set in front of us was filthy). I understand they are having staffing problems, but seems important to train whatever staff they have. On the porch, next to the front door and a chair where patrons wait to be seated there was a large auger used to ream out toilets!
Be the first to ReplyThe Owl is a gem
Another season at the Owl at Twilight and it’s still superb. We like sitting in the screened patio are with calming views of the garden and fresh mountain air. The owner, Mark, is very active and ensures everything is done to the highest standards. We, and the other diners, all had a great time! Looking forward to returning!
Be the first to ReplyBest in the area!!!
Had a great dinner at the owl at Twilight. It’s off the beaten path, but we’ll worth the drive. Chef Sue has great dishes - this time I tried the beet salad, and it was phenomenal! The pesto linguine was also perfect. Live music was very pleasant and ‘icing on the cake’
Be the first to ReplySlow service - not accommodating for allergies!
We decided to visit the restaurant for our anniversary on the recommendation of two different family members who have eaten here. I have a severe shellfish allergy. My husband called ahead and spoke with the owner to see if they could accommodate the allergy. The owner assured us it would be no problem. We had a reservation. It took over an hour and a half from the time we arrived until our food was served. My dish had a shrimp shell in it! I found it when I bit into it. We told the owner and explained that we had to leave right away so I could get medical attention. He denied that it happened. He said it was impossible. He did not comp our entrees or the drink that hit the table as we were leaving. We paid over $117 dollars for a margarita and a salad when all was said and done. Terrible experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone with any food allergies. A shrimp shell shouldn't end up in ANY DISH!
Be the first to ReplyNever again - completely ignored
Long time customer gone for good. You’re busy and I get it - that’s great. We were seated at 7:15 for a 7:00 reservation - I’m willing to be understanding. But when all five other tables in the room have had attention from wait staff, and my husband and I are ignored for 20 minutes as if we’re invisible, do you think we’ll ever come back? Nope. We will spend our money elsewhere, at restaurants that don’t ignore us. Never again.
Be the first to ReplyBest in the Adirondacks
Had a fabulous meal at the Owl. Chef Sue created a special vegan dish which was off the charts good (other diners took notice). The pesto pasta was perfect. We also did the cauliflower appetizer which was quite good. Mark runs a great restaurant - we dined on the porch which is decorated with Adirondack style furniture and a perfect ambiance. Can’t beat the Owl for consistently great food, excellent service, and a delightful experience!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent off-the-beaten-path find!
Seafood-driven menu with catch of the day, local produce, great wine list, very professional and friendly service.
