Experience to be repeated
we were already amazed at the entrance, a long corridor with photos, vintage utensils and much more, the welcome was immediately courteous and warm, a lovely lady accompanied us to the table having a pleasant conversation. We received excellent advice on what to eat and above all in what quantity, and we met Marco who, with his friendly austerity, served us impeccably. We tasted local hams, characteristic first courses and the typical barbecue, all excellent, concluding with the delicious homemade ice cream! I highly recommend it, there is no chance of being disappointed!
Friulano doc
We arrived at this historic restaurant 30 minutes before closing. Despite the time, they welcomed us and our two dogs with open arms. Pleasant environment, friendly staff and excellent food. We will be back!
You don't live by history
Historic place, the only decent thing, but you don't live by history. I have no idea who cooks but a speedy pizza at home is better than what I ate, €20 for a dry burnt chicken leg that looks like it was from a month ago is an exaggeration. I refrain from commenting anything else. I certainly won't set foot in the place again Not recommended.
Great potential, need to REVIEW the STAFF
We went to the restaurant for a dinner with friends, a very characteristic place full of history. We were welcomed by the owner who was kind and helpful. Afterwards, we ordered dishes recommended by her and it was all very good. The problems began when the waiter (bald with light eyes) began to serve us and immediately acted arrogantly and presumptuously, causing general discomfort. The dishes were all served at different times (one ate and the other watched). At the end of each meal, the waiter offered a plate of crostoli, but the generosity was aimed only at the tables he had chosen. Every restaurateur is free to move as he sees fit, but doing so at the tables adjacent to ours wasn't very nice, especially when we were still waiting for a bottle of water for 20 minutes. Everything would have been perfect with the exception of this unpleasant interlude with the waiter, on the other hand it is difficult to make a mistake when you choose to rely on the Michelin guide.

Great expectations for a historic place where I have wanted to eat for a long time, the environment actually reminds you that I have always been there, pleasant sensation at the sight but it all ends there, as far as eating is concerned there is no reason to return, I can't say that I ate badly but not well either, no dish left me surprised or satisfied, sufficient flavors and mediocre presentations, if we add to this that the staff barely considers you and that the waiting times, at least in my case, are biblical states, you don't find motivation for a second time. PS: prices not in line with the offer. ......... Sin
Overbooking in restaurant
Overbooking at the airport is decidedly annoying and not always understandable. Overbooking in restaurants is equally annoying and is NEVER understandable. After perhaps thirty years I return to "Alla Vedova". I recognize that, although I am not superstitious, offering a lunch to my wife "Alla Vedova" does not make me feel at ease. But with its two hundred years of history and a constant presence in the Michelin guide I certainly cannot be influenced by the name. I book, indicating precisely the arrival time. The property is under renovation, but access is still easy and does not require excessive slaloming between scaffolding and scaffolding. A few more precautions must instead be taken inside to avoid collisions with crockery, dishes and waiters who are decidedly too busy to notice the customer waiting at the entrance. Finally someone notices the new arrivals. But... there is no reservation. Almost like a new archaeologist in search of the lost ark, the owner, with the utmost courtesy, but not without evident embarrassment, analyzes the diary, interprets the entries which are not always easy to decipher, investigates who received the phone call... and the reservation finally appears. On a colored piece of paper that wasn't written down in the diary! It's a shame, however, that once the reservation has been made, the restaurant is fully booked and the place isn't there. But someone has already arrived at the second: a few minutes and the place will certainly be available. I am made to sit in the bar area, separate from the dining area and without heating, and I am offered an aperitif with the classic breadstick with ham. Objectively, the situation is not very pleasant. On the opposite wall there is a trophy of a deer, or perhaps a fallow deer, with Christmas decorations and lanterns hanging from the stage, which with its sad look seems to say to me "It went badly for me, but it's not going too well for you either Well …". About half an hour passes. The embarrassment of the owners is palpable. I'm sincerely sorry. I would leave, but I find it disrespectful for other people's work, which I believe should always be respected anyway. I ask if there is the possibility of having a stove, which is kindly provided to me, obtaining the result that the breadstick with ham, anything but despicable to be honest, is flavored by the bouquet of fuel from the catalytic stove. Fifty minutes after arriving, and not without further adjustments to the layout of the room, the place is found. Kitchen. What to say. Neither my mood nor my spirit are certainly the best. Undoubtedly, I would have expected more from a restaurant/trattoria that has always been present in the Michelin guide. The soft polenta with mushrooms and parmesan flakes is removed from the menu and replaced with an absolutely acceptable dish, but which is not the one indicated on the menu. The Rosa di Gorizia with pears, montasio and balsamic is good. However, it is not Rosa di Gorizia, but it is Rosa dell'Isonzo, which probably cannot be presented as such because until the Consortium adequately valorises it no one knows it. The cabernet sauvignon by the glass (the highway code requires it!) has its validity, but you cannot declare "I'll open a bottle", an opening which is otherwise welcome, but not requested, and then send a waiter who, if not with a bottom of the bottle, serve the glass with at least the last quarter of the bottle. The tortelloni stuffed with ricotta and artichokes are good, but certainly not Michelin-worthy. The interaction between the flavors in the pumpkin gnocchi with smoked ricotta definitely needs to be reviewed. The beef tartare is tasty and well prepared and the red herb and kren sauce is undoubtedly interesting. Even if served in such a small bowl that it really gave the impression that it was a leftover sauce. After all, it's not a truffle: if red grass and kren are left over and thrown away, it's no big deal. The musetto and brovada are also good. But as good as you would find in any farmhouse, not with the expectations of a restaurant mentioned in the Michelin guide. Perhaps for the first time I truly doubted the objectivity of the Michelin inspectors. Excellent, really excellent, the house tiramisu and also good the strawberry grape pudding with shortbread biscuits, these too probably finished because there were just two of them, and just ini ini shortbread biscuits... I end lunch no longer under the gaze of the deer, but that of Cecco Beppe, or if we want to give the place that austerity that it seems to deserve, of Franz Joseph I of Habsburg-Lorraine, emperor of Austria, who from the reproduction of a photo from the beginning of the twentieth century looks at me sternly from the opposite wall. And he too seems to remind me of the need to know how to appreciate what you have, whether it be a lot or little. I had lunch on January 21st, the hundredth anniversary of Lenin's death. And things didn't go very well for him. And even Cecco Beppe, the Kaiser whose name is still shown on the ancient sign outside the venue, was ultimately a loser. What a disappointment!!
We returned to this historic restaurant which is a gem in appearance! We had always eaten well with good service and paid the right amount! This time sitting at 1.15pm we had the pleasure of starting to order something at 2.15pm! The good ham was made up of 4 very thin slices that did not reach half a pound. Non-existent service, poor and reduced dishes! we had ordered a takeaway chicken! never arrived ! on the other hand they ask us what bitters we want and we order coffee! The bill of 75 euros each is discounted without issuing a receipt for bitters and coffee! What they had normally always offered even with a receipt! If we had eaten well we would have also accepted the bill but eating little and of low average quality and paying illegally without asking for consent in advance caused us a profound disappointment
Unmet expectations
I had many expectations for this traditional tavern, but I was not particularly satisfied. Very positive points: location and deviled chicken. The environment is very beautiful and welcoming, rustic but well-kept. The deviled chicken was very good, but it was the only dish I tried that impressed me. Questionable points in my opinion: the price, excessively high for the products offered and the service, which was questionable (for example, devilled chicken €19 without cover, for just a chicken leg). Service not at the level of the prices of the dishes and cover charge. I'm very sorry but, for the same amount spent, I prefer to go elsewhere.
Good quality lunch
The place looks a little dated, but it's very dated, you can breathe history! Some small smoke problems inside the room due to the gigantic grill located in the center of the room. However, excellent quality products, from the appetizers (puntarelle) to the truly excellent pappardelle. The grilled deer loin is excellent, the devilled chicken is good. The desserts are also very good (the tart is excellent) House wine in a carafe quite good. Prices slightly above the norm. 65 euros each for 5 people is not cheap.

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
