Came here for lunch yesterday it seemed like a go-to spot
Came here for lunch yesterday it seemed like a go-to spot for people during work. Wasn't super busy (per the hostess when we were being seated) but service definitely was more hands-off with us and focused on those around us. We had the falafel

Such a nice restaurant! High ceilings clean ambience.
Friendly staff. All the foods were tapa style. Everything was delicious! Especially the octopus! I would just go back to get 3 of those!
I love eating at Zaytinya.
Not only is it one of the best places to dine for high quality food and experience, but it's also conceived in Chef Jose Andre's imagination which ties in a lot of ethical qualities to guide the decisions that make the restaurant feel inten

Ann excellent Outdoor Lunch
After a delightful visit at the nearby Women’s Museum of Art, we walked a few blocks over to Zatinya for lunch. The place is painfully noisy when crowded, so we asked for an outdoor table under heaters. The tapas of their menu all offer burst of

Great food, great service, acceptable setting and horrible
Great food, great service, acceptable setting and horrible host & hostess. The greeting and interaction with the host and hostess was absolutely horrible -- tons of attitude given. Considering they are the face of the restaurant stellar service
Very delicious but not the best at the price point.
This is likely my own fault, because I came in with high expectations. The ambiance is communal in the sense that it can get really loud and echoey here when it's full. Make sure you lean on the servers to discover the best flavors.
Outstanding multi-course dinner for ten
We held a work dinner for 10 of us and had one of the tasting menus. It was an unbelievable way to try the amazing food. Everything was excellent, but I particularly thought the vegetable dishes were outstanding. We had a mix of dietary preferences a
Came to Zaytinya for lunch and it was perfect.
Didn't make a reservation for a party of 3 on a Tuesday, and we were able to walk in no problem. Love the vibe, aesthetic and ambiance of the restaurant. Our service was quick, kind, and frequent. I ordered the Salmon Duru that came with a sid

Actual rating is about a 3.
5. If I rate on the Shish Touk, ambience and service it would be a 5. Both were excellent. It's a light, airy space with elegant but not showy ambience and the service was top notch. But, it kind of fell off for me with the other dishes an

Exotic sensation
If you have a love of Middle Eastern cuisine you'll really love this restaurant. The flat bread with oil and balsamic was an appetite booster which prepared us for gorgeous fresh fattoush, an eggplant dish from heaven and an exotic lamb cooked
Currently at the restaurant as I'm writing this review.
We're been waiting to get a refill on our pita bread for the past 15 minutes. We asked our server and another staff member and no one is servicing our table. Food is good, but the service here is highly lacking for the price you're paying f
ZaytinyaMediterranean is a beautiful space in DC.
I was Quickly seated in very nice L shaped booth (even though I dined alone). I Ordered from restaurant week menu so I was able to try a number of their dishes. Here was my meal: Old fashioned (5/5; classic and delicious), baba ganoush (5/5; really i
The ambiance of this place is super inviting.
The right music at the right volume, the lighting was warm. Overall great ambiance. The service is un paralleled! The bread never ran out, the waiter made sure the glasses were never empty, most of all the presentation of the Turkish coffee was fun!
First dinner stop- no questions asked
This is THE spot for your first dinner in DC. The food was superb. We nearly licked the platters clean and loved everything we had. It was a bit loud but not too hard to carry a conversation. It was particularly fun to be there pre-Capitals game with
The food's got a tang I'll give you that.
Could appreciate it even on a bad date. I wish it had more protein but not everyone's on that wave so I guess it don't matter
Not what it used to be

It's a swanky joint.

It was incredible.
I had the lamb kebab or something. It was magnificent. I was transported through a thousand years of culture and evolution. It will be one of those meals Ill remember for long time.
I had high hopes for Zaytinya but left rather underwhelmed.
Starting with the good -- hummus and brussels were tasty and a supply of fresh bread is always a perk. The other dishes we tried, the chicken pasta and halloumi flatbread, were just kind of.. mediocre. The pasta especially tasted like it could have
We are coming back. !
The service was excellent. It would only surpass the food.! we did the chefs choice and the pairing of the wines! I would show you pictures of what we ate, but every time we dug into the food, we realized halfway through we forgot to take a picture!
Came for brunch and ordered the brunch prefix menu.
It was wonderful. The bread guy is the real mvp though. Very attentive and engaged with our kids and made sure they were having a good time. By far the most locked on person we interacted with. We also noticed this on our previous visit with the same

Excellent food and prompt service
Very good food and service. It's crowded so you need a reservation, or you can sit at the bar, like we did. The bartender was very attentive and the food arrived very quickly. We shared the three dips (humus, tzatziki and babaganosh), Fattoush
Just superb.
Great food, amazing atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! Every single item was delicious.
Our return visit to Zaytinya did not disappoint.
What stood out was the incredible staff Knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain and educate me, who has very little experience with the Mediterranean dishes served here. Each dish was exceptional, our son and his girlfriend did all the

Highly recommend the RoZAY Brunch.
Everything was delicious. Staff was attentive. Easy to get to on the Metro.
Food and service were good.
My favorite was the Bangijan Bil Laban. It is conveniently located by the Chinatown/Gallery place metro stop.

This place is consistently good and reasonably authentic (I'm familiar with the region they represent). Food is tasty, service is efficient and polite. Nicely priced too. The patio is where you should be if the weather permits.
The service and food and decorations are all very good.
We tried eggplants and scallops but did not take photo of scallops haha.
the only thing that's nice about this place is the service.
the food is genuinely disgusting, bordering on inedible. i am not a picky eater but this was just low quality ingredients disguised with way too much onion, garlic, and vinegar. i'm never coming back. you can cook much better, fresher, healthier
